We stayed for 7 nights, and it was so relaxing! The hotel was clean, the views were amazing, and the staff was so kind + helpful. Specifically, all of the valet guys were the BEST. They gave us the best recommendations for food and activities. We loved seeing them each day. The breakfast buffet is 10/10 (expensive but so good). The somewhat private beach and beach equipment was amazing. We didn't get upgraded or anything special for our honeymoon which was shocking but can't expect it.
The downsides. Hotel guests are not given wristbands to go to the pool/beach. Non-guests (people not staying at the Andaz) go to the property early and put items down on chairs at the pool around 6am. We talked to a lot of people at the pools, and they were using the amenities that we are paying for. They are getting the best spots by the pool and beach. One guy we were next to at the pool even got his parking validated for free (he wasn't staying at the resort) - meanwhile us guests are paying $50/night for parking. We wished this was managed better so we could better enjoy what we were paying for, and the pools would be less busy.
Overall, we would stay here again because it is in a prime location. Walking distance to great food and shops. There is room to improve the guest experience and to make it more upscale.

Just finished up a 2 week stay. Nothing but great things to say. I loved the various infinity pools. There are 3 of them on 3 different levels, each with a wonderful view of the ocean. Really a unique configuration and it worked really well. The beach is wonderful—plenty of room for chairs and the water calm and relatively warm. And unlike some other beaches in Wailea, you could walk on this one for quite a while. The breakfast buffet was great—much to choose from. What made it unique is that if you wanted an omelette you ordered it through your server. This is better than having an omelette station, because you didn’t have to stand around waiting for your omelette, rather it is brought to your table. The lounge is great for sunset cocktails. There’s also a pop up bar in the lobby that serves cocktails during happy hour/sunset. And a special shout out to Mallorie at the concierge desk, who coordinated all our dinners and various boat trips. A wonderful vacation at a wonderful resort!!!!

Pristine, self-contained, not pretentious. Activities were superb, esp the ukelele teacher the famous Derick Sebastian. Very patient and we actually learned something. Great yoga pilates and outrigger tour, all included. Rooms had a unique and large shower. Views were great. Restaurant was over-the-top good (Black Cod) and not that expensive - except for the $110 bottle of wine. Separate pools for separate moods. Kids sure had fun in the lower pool with it's gentle slope. Artist-in-residence has some nice pieces. They are doing something right as the employees all seemed genuinely happy.

Best resort we’ve ever stayed at! The views, the service, the pillows 10 out of 10! The beach crew is one of the best you’ll ever find. The snorkeling was amazing. We saw everything from huge sea turtles to gorgeous octopuses changing color. They have the most beautiful yoga views you’ll ever experience and not to mention whales jumping in the background! The pool crew will set you up with as many chairs as you want so no need to rush down and save chairs. Amazing service! Can’t wait to come back. They just gained two customers for life. Mahalo Andaz!!!

This hotel has mandatory valet parking @$50 a day. Apart from the obvious unnecessary cost, this was not good when I arrived on Sunday evening to find gridlock with the driveway totally blocked, an people waiting to get their car out presumably for dinner in town. Also $50 a day compulsory resort fee. The hotel has extensive landscaping down to the ocean - 5 pools (some infinity, some adult only and some with a crane to assist disabled guests. Lots of palm trees, cabanas for rent and myriads of recliner lounges by the pool. The room had everything you might want, and a 10 foot long shower. Hot water came quickly, so each room must have its own supply. The buffet breakfast was good and had some tables on the balcony overlooking the landscaping and ocean.
