Manchebo Beach Resort & Spa

We have been coming to this resort for 15 years. On our most recent stay my wife had a serious medical emergency which required immediate hospitalization in Aruba. This started at 230 AM Sunday morning, on the day we were scheduled to check out. The resort provided transportation for my wife to the hospital emergency room immediately. The manager met me the next day and informed me that my wife and I were family and they would provide any assistance needed. They provided me with frequent rides to the hospital to be with my wife and extended my stay on the island. Management checked in with me daily to address my needs and inquire about my wife's health. On the day of my wife's discharge, one of the managers personally drove us to the airport. Words cannot describe the compassion and caring that the Manchebo family offered us. My shout out list is long: Edgar, Randall and Patrick in management. Melvin, overnight for his immediate and decisive attention. Andrew and Del who's compassion and support was unmatched. Brandon, for always being there for me in the evenings. Nacio, who is like a brother to me. Everyone in reservations for always finding another room for another night. And finally, my review of the resort: The rooms, food, beach and staff are the best on the island. Please stay here. You will fall in love. Paul and Christine.

From ther welcome mojito as we checked in, we loved our experience at The Manchebo Resort and Beach Resort. The ocean there is clearest and bluest I have ever seen. The beach is just breathtaking. We had a great ocean view and the beds are so comfortable in the rooms. Each day, we got a beach palapa to enjoy the day under. The breakfast is delicious..I highly recommend that you get the breakfast option. We explored other nice restaurants in the area for dinner. We felt very safe walking around in the evening. We would love to return!

Our family loved our weekend stay at Manchebo. The 24/7 pool, beautiful white-sand beach, peaceful gardens, and ocean views made it the perfect place to celebrate our birthdays and our kids’ graduations. If you are looking for a relaxing stay with quiet evenings, beautiful surroundings, and a chance to truly unwind, Manchebo is the perfect place. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely return.

I chose this hotel after a detailed review of all other options, first staying there in 2025 as a birthday trip for my wife. It was so fantastic that we decided to repeat our stay at Manchebo in 2026, and we'll try to do it again in 2027. This is a completely different experience compared to the "monster hotels" like the Marriott, the Ritz, or so many others along Eagle Beach. All those hotels look like fancy condos, but they're still condos — luxurious, full of stores and casinos, with the type of tourists you'd meet in Cancun, Miami, etc. Manchebo is a completely different story: a two-floor boutique hotel with personalized attention, a great staff, and that hard-to-copy, relaxed, quiet way of vacationing, surrounded by people who share your cultural values. On top of that, you get the best of Eagle Beach — a privileged zone with probably the best beach in all of Aruba. I love this place. It's not a tourist factory, but a home, with great people taking care of you.

From the moment we stepped into the foyer to check in we were in heaven. The check in was easy with the friendliest gal, she gave us a ton of information slowly so we could grasp it all. This was our first time to Aruba and Manchebo Resort. She welcomed us back with any questions during our stay, everytime we went to the front desk they were friendly and helpful. Our room was in the perfect place #6, bottom level close to the 4 yummy restaurants, the pool, beach and every sunset. Different nights had themes Tuesday - meet management in the Pavilion for appys and cocktails with a local market going on too. There were approx 10-15 local vendors selling unique souvenirs, very special. With a steel drum musician playing softly in the background - super fun! Wednesday night is Mexcian night, special chef with authentic menu and mariahi band playing. One night a sax player, one night a female vocalist etc. You can go and participate and listen or we sat on our porch and listened sometime with drinks. All the food was great! The staff everywhere was amazing. Plenty of palapas every day at any time, they have a towel employee that helps you with their custom hooded towels for the chaise lounges and regular towels, all fresh and clean for you all day long. The room we got was an ocean deluxe room I believe and it had a nice queen bed with 2 night stands, a huge dresser, with extra stands for suitcases, a large closet including an easy to use safe, a good sized refrigerator and a good size bathroom supplies with the best aloe liquid soap, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion made on island. It was not a strong scent, but a soft refreshing fragrance. We celebrated our wedding anniversary so there was champagne & a congratulations card upon arrival - very special. Also included is 2 brand new reusable water bottles, very tastefully done. Everything was great, the welcome, restaurants, activities (or not), the room, the spa (amazing!) but nothing compares to the sand and the sea. There is no shortage of sand here. It goes on as far as you can see left and right and it's deep out to the sea. Crystal clear blue water, no sea grass! White fine sand not hot to your feet, no scary drop offs just gradual slope out to deeper water. Nice waves but not agressive and of course nice wind to cool you off. We went in July for our anniversary, it's the low and hot season but it was perfect with the breeze. All palapas have beach food service via Segways, really cool.

We stayed at Manchebo Beach Resort & Spa from July 24 through August 1, 2026, and had an absolutely amazing experience. The resort is beautiful, peaceful, and in a location where we always felt completely safe. The weather was perfect, and everyone we encountered was welcoming and friendly. What truly made our trip special was the resort staff. They consistently went above and beyond to make sure our vacation was comfortable and memorable. We would especially like to recognize Delseta, Ana Maria, Julian, Felisha, Andrew, Zennon, and Fanny. Each of them contributed in their own way to making our stay exceptional, and their kindness and attention were greatly appreciated. Our only minor suggestion would be to move the designated smoking section a little farther away from the guest rooms and outdoor sitting areas. There were only a few smokers during our stay, but the smoke could sometimes drift toward the rooms while we were sitting outside trying to enjoy the peaceful morning or evening air. That small issue aside, we had a wonderful vacation and would highly recommend Manchebo Beach Resort & Spa to anyone looking for a relaxing, friendly, and memorable Aruba experience. We are very grateful to the entire staff for making our trip so special.

This was our sixth time at the Manchebo, and as usual it did not disappoint! We were there for a vow renewal and a week stay. Staff was as friendly as ever. Nyoka was amazing in arranging the ceremony, and made sure that everything ran perfectly. Delseta assisted and was our cheerleader! Delseta also hosts at Ike's, and it was always a delight to see her sunny smile! It was great to see Nacio at the Pega Pega again, he always makes us feel like we've come home. Alejandra was our favorite server, and it was always a pleasure to have Andrew heartily welcome us when we arrived at the lobby. Loved getting to know Oscar as well, a friendly presence on staff. I know I am forgetting so many people, because everyone here is just so kind and welcoming. Need I mention the best beach on the island? The rooms are pristine, and you feel relaxed as soon as you walk on the property. It is a quiet, peaceful slice of heaven.

We had the most amazing honeymoon at Manchebo Beach Resort & Spa in Aruba! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The location was absolutely perfect—we were just a 30-second walk from our room to the beautiful beach, making it easy to relax and enjoy every moment. The service was outstanding throughout our entire stay. A special thank you to Allan, who went above and beyond to make our honeymoon even more memorable. Every bartender and staff member we interacted with was incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely cared about making sure we had a great experience. We also booked the honeymoon package, and it was well worth it. The spa was fantastic and such a relaxing treat during our trip. The resort itself is peaceful, beautiful, and the perfect place for couples looking for a romantic getaway. We truly couldn't have asked for a better honeymoon destination. We can't wait to come back someday!

We just got back from celebrating our anniversary at this amazing resort! Only our second time in Aruba (Last time was near the high rise. section), we decided to try this resort and have a more tranquil experience. WHAT A FIND! From the minute we got there, everyone greeted us with a smile and so accommodating. Our room was perfect (room 13) right off the lobby. Our room was perfect in comfort, coffee in the room ( and complimentary coffee bar right outside in Ike's bistro - one of their four wonderful restaurants. The air conditioning worked perfectly, we had fresh clean room each day, they provided all the amenities we needed for showering), everything was so clean. Our room was on the first floor and had sliders were we had our coffee each morning facing the beach view.. it was about 20 steps to the sand so that was a nice suprise!!! The vibe is bohemian tropical with three restaurant styles. We had dinner at the chophouse which was delicious! They even gave use two complimentary glasses of wine with our room checkin for dinner! One night was a theme night, Mexican, with a casual menu of delicious Mexican favories (Must try the fish tacos or Mexican bowl) and they had a live Mariachi band! Our favorite part of the resort was the beach- not too busy, always had a spot on the beach set up for us under a palapa by the beach attendant. Water was PERFECT! Food was served on the beach if you liked by attentive beach servers. We also enjoyed a spa day at their on site spa- Spa De Sol. The outdoor spa cabanas werer private enough with open air breezes. Our couples massage of 80 minutes was divine, with a calming relaxing zone after for enjoying the glow of the treatments. Each morning there was beach yoga in their pavilion, The instructors varied but what a site for a complimentary yoga class each day! Breezes blowing, yoga mats provided, and a supportive instructors. It was such a highlight! There was also pilates after that looked great if you are into that too. All complimentary with the resort. The staff was so kind, always helpful and our favorite was Andrew who greeted us when we arrived, always checked in on us when we passed and ushered us away with a big smile ( and cookies and peanuts for the plane!) We were so sad to leave and are counting the days until we can return. It was the absolute perfect vacation thanks to all they offer at this perfect resort!

I can only give 5 stars because this resort is truly such a gem. We have stayed here all 4 visits to Aruba and are welcomed back like family. The staff alone is what keeps us coming back year after year. We know them by name and from the moment we drive up we are greeted like long lost friends, visiting the restaurants and Pega Pega or relaxing by the pool or hanging out on their beautiful beach property, the staff is what keeps this place feeling like home and like the happiest place on earth. A special thanks to O’Neil and Andrew for the warm welcome, for carrying our bags and such a sweet farewell. We love all the breakfast ladies, they truly start the day off with a warm smile and delicious breakfasts. It’s a joy every morning. Pega Pega boys keep us smiling and were especially fun with happy hour and watching the World Cup! The beach of course is one of the most beautiful parts of the resort, spacious and comfortable and always a seat. My favorite part of Manchebo is the daily yoga in their open air pavilion. The teachers have always been lovely but I especially loved this years yoga instructor. She had some really fun classes that kept me coming back! I smile thinking about it still. Every year we return to this resort, it’s not the fanciest and it could use a little updating to the rooms and perhaps a revamp on the dated restaurants. It may even appear a little run down to some, but to us we adore its Caribbean charm and rustic laid back vibes. If you’re looking for a place to unwind and get away from it all you have found it. Some things to note this year on our 4th visit. Some for the better. Some not so much. They changed the old room cards to a digital bracelet. I loved this! It was great not having to keep up with key cards for the rooms. Randall the manager said they are hoping the entire resort will soon be able to scan to settle checks for room charges. I think this feature is a nice upgrade. The only problem we noticed at all was the beach was busier with non-hotel guests trying to use the public palapas that are located within the Manchebo resort area. While I believe Manchebo does an incredible job at keeping the guests and non guests happy with this situation as best they could by offering palapas if they are unused, I felt like as a guest I shouldn’t have to worry about this and it made the hotel feel less private and my belongings less secure. We didn’t have any issues however I think perhaps for the price point of an all inclusive resort they should not allow a public access point to the beach from the parking lot and maybe that would deter so much public traffic into the resort itself. I usually feel comfortable leaving my belongings at the palapas while I swim but that unfortunately was not the case this year. I hope they find a better solution for this. This resort is still my number one favorite and we will continue to return for years to come. I think repeat guests feel that the hospitality here is worth it everytime. Keep it up Manchebo!

If you are looking for a quiet and beautiful resort to get away to, stop looking. No hustle and bustle here. Perfect location. Everyone is so pleasant to be around. Always felt welcomed and part of the family. The staff was always welcoming and accommodating. At the beach, Julian, Joey, and Josh went above an beyond. The front desk was very helpful. The servers were very knowledgeable. Our beach was clean and well managed. The rooms were clean and ground well maintained. Everything was as expected.

We had an amazing stay at Manchebo! The staff was very hospitable and friendly. The room was spacious and they did a great job cleaning it daily. Even at full capacity, we had no issues getting a papala on the beach at any time of day. There are a ton of great food options on the island so definitely be sure to explore if you’re a foodie! There is a Top Drive representative in the lobby daily making it super easy to rent a car (you can pick up and drop off your rental at the hotel).
