Wyndham Palmas Beach and Golf Boutique Resort

Third time for our wedding anniversary. Great staff. A few that I would like to recognize: Angel the valet was ultra-professional. Always friendly & helpful. Servers at Trova: Genesis, Gabriel, Carmen, & Natalia. All very nice. Cyd the bartender - very busy but extremely friendly & made our night. Rashida the manager was also very friendly & on top of things. Jumping in when needed. Mayelis the hostess was always very pleasant & smiling. Lastly Nashali from housekeeping was a pleasure. All were very professional, friendly, & helpful. These employees stood out.

I dined at Trova on one of our last evenings in PR. We honestly chose Trova simply because it was our closest option. This evening we sat at the bar and the bartender Gabriel was our perfect guide. He helped us with a couple of drinks and couldn’t have been friendlier. We asked Gabriel for appetizer suggestions and I ordered the Pulpo Al Estrillo Joyuda and the Ceviche De Coco and they were absolutely delicious beyond anything I’d ever had. My friend ordered the Guanime Con Salmorejo and he loved it. We both ordered the strip steaks “Nuevayol” for our main course and here is where I get lost for words. I am cautious when I review things because I don’t review often and I certainly want to do the restaurant justice but also honor anyone looking for an honest review. I have loved big hearty steaks my entire life and I’ve been blessed to eat at some of the finest steakhouses. I’ve certainly eaten too many steaks but here goes. The steak at Trova may have been the best steak I have ever had in my life! It simply came with very good fries and that was perfect because no accompaniment could hold a candle to that perfectly cut and cooked piece of beef!!! Thank you Gabriel for your suggestions but thank you Trova for that experience! So you think that’s it. Nope this is going to sound crazy but I went back to our room after dinner to tell my wife about the meal I just had. She didn’t accompany us because she was a little under the weather. I explained the meal I’d just had and she laughed because she understands my love of not eating but experiences. I finished blabbing about my meal and called reservations to extend our stay for no other reason but to eat at Trova again! We made a reservation and this time we sat in the back room overlooking the beautiful hidden pool area and Yara was our server. She too like Gabriel the night before was outstanding but it may have been a little easier for her because I ordered the exact same meal. I prayed it would be as good as the night before and just like magic it was perfect again!!! My wife ordered the Caldoso De Langosta which she really enjoyed and another great dining experience was over. We are going back for 2 weeks after Christmas 26’ with our family. See you then!

My boyfriend and I had the pleasure of eating at Trova and it was truly one of the best meals we have ever had. I've traveled around the world and this stood out above all the rest, especially the short rib and the coconut ceviche. A special shoutout to our server Saúl as well as Luis, Christian, Ayeisha, and the wonderful Chef Miguel. This is a must stop if you're in Puerto Rico!

I had a great stay at Wyndham Palmas. After long, humid days exploring the area, coming back to a comfortable room with strong AC was a huge relief. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and perfect for unwinding after being out in the Puerto Rico heat. One of the highlights of the trip was the Sunday party called Boho. It had such a fun vibe—great music, great energy, and a perfect way to spend the evening. The property itself is beautiful, especially the golf course. Two courses to choose from! Palmas and flamboyant. Both were gorgeous. Even if you’re not playing, it’s really nice to walk around and enjoy the scenery. There are also plenty of activities nearby. We went horseback riding, fed the turtles, and spent time relaxing on the beach, which is just a short walk away. The food at their restaurant Trova was amazing. Everything we tried was delicious and it quickly became one of our favorite spots during the stay. There are others nearby the hotel on property such as captain shacks and koffey, great place to grab breakfast. What really made the experience special, though, was the staff. The general manager, Carlo, always greeted us and other guests during our stay. He has an incredible memory and interacts with every guest on a personal level, making sure everyone’s needs are met and that they feel welcomed. Brian and Jayson were also fantastic, and the bellmen Jose and Efrain always greeted us with a genuine smile. They made us feel at home and really showed us a good time while we were there, pointing out the various activities we could do such as Pilates with puppies in the mornings. Overall, Wyndham Palmas offers comfort, great food, beautiful surroundings, fun events, and truly exceptional hospitality. I would definitely come back.

We had a wonderful stay and truly enjoyed our time there. Property is beautiful, clean, and well maintained, overall experience was excellent. We were checked in an hour later of the scheduled time but receive a $50 credit for the inconvenience. The family suit was comfortable, and everything felt relaxing and well thought out for a family stay. The only small suggestion for improvement, especially for the family suit, would be a larger trash can in the bathroom, an ironing ironing board and a microwave, which would make longer stays even more convenient. Also a more user friendly coffee maker would be a nice upgrade. Overall. everything was great and we would absolutely stay there again. Highly recommended for comfortable and enjoyable getaway.

Even before I arrived, the staff at this hotel was amazing. Brian, Director of Guest Services, answered any questions I had before arrival with patience and kindness. He provided transportation information that also turned out great. Once I arrived, I felt like a VIP. I was taken great care of and all the staff was lovely. You can tell they really love what they do and want you to enjoy your stay. Trova was an amazing restaurant-I ate there several days for all meals. I love that they have bikes for you to use so I rode around Palmas and even rode to the farmers market one day. The day I wanted to sit at the beach and the chairs were not set up, they sent someone right over who set up the chairs and an umbrella for me. I would absolutely recommend anyone I know to go as well as return there myself!

I had the pleasure of watching the Super Bowl at the Wyndham Las Palmas with my family and friends. It made me so proud to partake with my fellow Puerto Ricans. The Bar service was especially impressive. Aside from all who were outstanding Sebastian stood out. He treated us with such attention to detail. What a professional service. This man knows the business of treating guests OUTSTANDING. Finally, I had the honor and privilege to meet the Hotel Security Officer named Brian. This man saved my life. I misplaced my bag and did not even realize it until Brian came looking for me and found me in the packed ballroom with all the guests enjoying the BadBUNNY halftime show. He called me out and asked me to step out and presented me with my bag which had all of my IDS, Passport and money. I was shocked that I could be that careless, but Brian reassured me to the point of tears. OMG has no idea what a lifesaver he is. This man is a Godsend and kept smiling the whole time with me and all of the other guests. All I can say is I will recommend all of my family and friends to the Wyndham. You have won a customer for LIFE. 🇵🇷

My time with Wyndham Palmas Beach Resort at Botica bar was awesome. My friend and I were greeted warmly by Jayson who helped us valet our car. Jayson was so polite/respectful and gave us great recommendations for food and drinks. Sebastian & Gabriel were attentive, caring and communicative waiters. It was very busy and Sebastian kept us updated on when to expect our food and drinks. The vibe was very fun and all staff greeted us with a smile.

The hospitality from the workers is amazing and very fitting for a resort that focuses on a great relaxing experience. Personal shoutout to our attendants at the Pool Cafe Bar. Mr. Nashil treated us extremely well and even recommended very popular restaurants and night life spots. Mr. Hector was an amazing server. He was very helpful and quick to take our orders and the customer service from both was just absolutely outstanding. Thank you gentleman!!
