Unico is HOME. This is my sixth time at this amazing resort. You will feel so cared for, rejuvenated and refreshed. Javier and Rodrigo go out of their way to make sure we are comfortable. Jessica is very motivated to make sure your stay is top notch. The managers at the restaurants really care about your meal and want you to really enjoy the food. They do small things that go a long way to make it feel special. I cannot recommend this resort enough. 10/10

The food and service were excellent! The pools beautiful. Our butler Rodger and Israel were fantastic. They provided special lunch in our cabana and perfect dinner reservation. Definitely a five star resort we will return to! Room was beautiful

We went for 5 days and 4 nights. The resort was perfect for that length of time. I'm not sure I would stay a whole lot longer since it's a smaller resort with limited restaurant options. However in those 4 nights we were able to hit every restaurant, book some excursions, enjoy the laid back evening atmosphere, and have a wonderful time away from home. It was just my wife and I on the trip. We had fun meeting other people. The night life isn't super crazy. If that's something you're looking for I recommend a different resort. However, they do still have fun activities at night. There was a silent disco, a cocktail making event, nice bars, etc. Things quiet down somewhat quickly which lets you get to bed at a good time without needing to worry about speakers blaring music while you try to sleep. We've stayed at hard Rock properties before and this was certainly my favorite experience at an all inclusive. Some things are just ok. Room service was just ok, but anything at the restaurants were fantastic. The beach was fine, but space is hard to find. The different kinds of pool areas were nice. There was a quiet pool for reading, a more entertaining pool to have fun at. There's something for everyone. Ismael was fantastic at coordinating our activities for us as well as getting us reservations and moving things around as needed. He made us feel special while we were there. The staff in general were all awesome. The sommeliers were fantastic. They got me into tequila and it has now become a massive hobby. The prices for extras at the resort felt incredibly reasonable and overall I'm excited for our next trip there.

This was the third time staying at Unico, and the resort continues to feel like our home away from home. While the resort may be beginning to show some weathering (as can be expected when at the ocean!) the staff remain amazing, friendly, and incredibly helpful. The resaurants continue to serve good food and there are plenty of laid back activities that suit our interest (daily arts/crafts, pool parties, mixology, etc.) Arranging an external excursion and sla treatment was super easy as well! I would love to give a shout out to some employees who truly stood out: LH Aguirre - our local host who helped us with our dinner reservations, booking a spa treatment, and answered oir questions quickly Astrid (and Gabriela) - our servers at breakfast multiple days during oir stay. Astrid was super friendly, attentive, and has an amazing smile! She even remembered our drink preferences- despite seeing hundreds of people everyday! Anastasia and Karen - I received a "4 hands massage" at the spa, and they were incredible. It was truly a life changing massage :) Other staff that stood out included: -Aldhair -Antonio -Alfredo -Graciella -Cricelda (I know I'm spelling this wrong....) -Daniel -Mario Everyone we encountered heloed to make our stay relaxing, easy, amd enjoyable!

Our experience started out with a very nice welcome visit with Laura, our consierge for the week. She made our first time visit much easier, keeping us updated daily. Thank you for the special anniversary treats in our room. The activities staff gave some of the best aqua (spinning/aerobics) classes I've experienced. Sebastian and Ricardo were so much fun, they are extremely motivating and engaging. I could go on and on about the resort staff. They are so attentive and their attitudes in serving hotel customers is impressive. We came away humbled. Amid, consierge at the La Escandida pool, thanks for setting us up daily at the pool. Diego, at restaurant 2087 breakfast always remembered our breakfast egg order, will miss those breakfasts. All the restaurants are top notch but we need to give a shout out to Cueva Siete, it was our favorite....very unique flavorful menu. Thank you Aldhair in helping us with our selections and encouraging us to order the specialty drinks, Diego and Frieda. Rooms were spacious and well kept. We will definitely be returning next year. Another attraction for us is this is the only Hard Rock "adults only" resort left in the area.

We had a wonderful time at Unico. Our butlers Javier and Rodrigo were fabulous. We had beach or pool chairs reserved every day where we wanted them, our spa and dinner reservations were made for us, and they made sure the mini bar had enough Diet Pepsi and snicker bars daily. They actually double checked our room every day to be sure we were stocked and would send us a picture confirming the fridge was stocked. They each physically checked in with us multiple times a day. Our server for breakfast at the a la carte restaurant Grace was wonderful. She knew how we liked our coffee, toast with Nutella , etc and made sure we were taken care of. Overall the staff was great , remembering us by name, making us feel “ at home”.

Just got back from an incredible stay at Unico Resort in Mexico! The staff are so friendly and truly know what they’re doing, making the whole experience seamless and enjoyable. I loved the spa and the top-notch services there—such a relaxing treat! The entertainment, both at the nightclub and in the front lobby, was amazing and kept the energy going. Another cool touch was the daily art classes, which added something unique to the stay. Highly recommend this resort for an unforgettable all-inclusive experience!

Unico 2087 is my favorite all-inclusive resort. We have stayed in Jamaica (many times and providers) and Porto Rico and Unico was the BEST. The food was awesome, the location clean, fresh and open and the people were fantastic. Our butlers Carlos and Eduardo were TOP NOTCH. We were wanting them to come home with us so we could be friends!! Lizbeth at Legendary Pool was always helping us have the best time. Our favorite restaurant was Mexican but it was Mayan Food which was the first time we had this type of food and it was perfect. Lucio was awesome and did a great Flambes desert coffee. Alberto our tequila specialist got us to buy some great tequila for our home. Flavio and Tomas did great job in our 2 italian dinner nights. Jesus at 20.87 dinner treated us great and kept the wine flowing. Unico was a treat and we will be back.

Now become our favorite resort! Butler service was fantastic. Restaurants were amazing and service was impeccable. Pool was quiet and great for conversation. Beachfront was great and well maintained as well. Perfect location for a relaxing adult time with my spouse.

The UNICO property and staff were top notch. I had never been to an all inclusive and had heard that food quality and choice is sometimes an issue. Not at this resort! There is a wide variety of restaurant types and food choices and every meal was fantastic. The service was exceptional. They had several activities and excursions you could take. The cocktails in the restaurants were better than those at the bars but you could order your own drink anywhere. The Spa was amazing; on par with US prices when using hotel credit if not using credits spa services are pricey.

This resort is the best AI I have been to. There is just the right amount of activity, the food is outstanding and the staff is second to none. If anyone is considering trying this resort, it is a must do. You will want to make this your go-to adult only AI. Our butlers, Carlos and Eduardo are the best butlers I have ever encountered. They made trip planning stress free from weeks before up until we left the property. These guys should set the company standard for butlers/hosts. They are a well-oiled machine and work so well together. They truly are a team! Most of our days were spent at the Legendary pool and we were taken very good care of by Lizabeth. Rarely did our glasses go empty. She’s fun, sweet and very attentive. Breakfast at 20.87 was always good and Jose and Melissa were both great servers. Even though it’s a buffet, they are quick with drink refills. Jesus was an awesome server for dinner at 20.87. Mi Carisa was delicious and Falvio and Tomas were our servers on 2 different dinners. The Valentine’s Day special was a beautiful presentation of lamb. It was almost too pretty to eat. Cueve Siete had so many tasty dishes. Everyone at our table truly enjoyed this restaurant. Lucio was such a delight that we wanted him to come home with us. He makes you feel like family. The table service at Mura House has so many Asian choices that we were happy we picked to order off the menu. Roberto took such good care of us. Inez served the best gluten free treat at the coffee bar. If you hang out in the evening at Bar Balam, make sure and sit in Marisela’s section. You will never go thirsty. Alberto does an outstanding job with upgraded wines and tequilas. He’s a true gem. Before our airport pickup, we grabbed a quick lunch at the outside restaurant by the pool. Erik made sure our food came out fast so we could eat before heading to the airport. My last, but not least mention, is the spa. All the ladies are so sweet and helpful in the hydrotherapy. I had a wonderful massage from Oscar. I will be sure and request him again on my next trip. This resort has so much to offer that it should be top of list for everyone to try. There were 8 of us traveling, which included 6 who had never been to Mexico. They now want to make this a yearly trip to Unico. We all loved it. The resort itself is the best but it is the staff make you want to come back. I hope management/owners realize this.

We had one of the best vacations at Unico. The resort was clean and well kept. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. From the time we checked in until the time we left, we were made to feel special. Our host Rosy Hoil was super helpful. She helped us set up excursions and left us a special surprise for our 25th anniversary. The food at all the restaurants was superb. I would highly recommend Unico for your next vacation.

This was our 3rd all inclusive resort week in Riviera Maya and our first at the UNICO. We had high expectations based on our previous experiences and the higher cost of UNICO compared to some other hotels we considered but I'm delighted to say that those were all exceeded. From arrival to departure the service has been excellent. The staff are consistently friendly, attentive and competent. The food has likewise been delightful with a good array of options and no shortages that we noticed. It's a lively hotel with well attended pool exercise and entertainment activities every day. There's often music especially during the pool parties which are 3 per week I believe. There is a smaller pool area which is likely quieter but we never felt the need to go there (and we are not big party people by any means). Special mentions go to our concierge host Fernando who was always a quick WhatsApp away and often available in person. The pool team, especially Alam, Cony and Eugenio who all took great care of us. Also the entertainments team, Andy, Rrricardo, Sebastian and the others (sorry for forgetting the names right now). The room was large and in great condition with lovely decor. We had an ocean view which was lovely. If you are massively keen on the sea and beaches then like most hotels on this coast you may be a bit disappointed due to sargasso seaweed. We were more than happy by the pools though. We met only one other British couple with the vast majority of guests we met being American. We would definitely return again in the future. We just got back from a relaxing trip to Unico and it was absolutely lovely! The hotel itself is gorgeous and well maintained - the decor really is stunning and different than most other hotels in Mexico and gives it more of a boutique feel. We have been to many other all inclusives in Mexico and the food, drinks, and service here were absolutely top notch. We went for 5 days and did not have a bad meal the whole time. Each restaurant and bar has its own specialty craft cocktails as well, which was a nice treat to try. I had mentioned to our host, Eduardo, that I was vegetarian when checking in and at every single meal, they noted it and the servers also provided menu suggestions and items that could be modified to be made vegetarian for me (at Mura House the waiter even told me what marinades had fish sauce or hoisin and were not technically vegetarian). Eduardo was absolutely exceptional and checked in with us every single day, sent us activities for the day, helped us change dinner reservations, and helped us set up the in room mixology service. He also went out of his way to stop by and see us at the pool during the day to make sure there was nothing else we needed. We spent every day at the pools and had the best time. The service around the pool was really great - Isaias was a standout and would help get us seats by the pool each morning and would help set up our towels and umbrella for us and was truly so helpful. Erik by the pool was an amazing server and went above and beyond - even when it was crowded, he was so attentive and would even find us while we were swimming in the pool to check on us to see if we needed any drinks. Marcos and Manuel by the pool were also great and very attentive when it came to service. We spent each day by the activity pool - we did aqua aerobics with Andrea and Angie a few times and they were so much fun and so energetic. There was also daily aqua spinning plus additional fitness classes in the gym like yoga and Pilates. All of the way staff in the restaurant were also great - truly everyone was so friendly and made it a great experience - Carlos, Sebastian and Gabriela at 2087 (shout out to Carlos for making us incredible Mayan coffee!), Luis at Mura House, and Patricia and Flavio at Mi Carisa all were superb. All in all, just a lovely resort with truly wonderful staff. Some tips: - Bring reusable silicone or metal straws - none of the cocktails had straws (not even paper ones). Lots of people brought tumblers too and the bartenders filled them directly instead - Bring lots of small bills for tipping - the staff really work so hard and truly deserve it - The gym is lovely and clean but if you’re looking to go, go early as it’s on the smaller side and does get packed - we went a few times at peak morning hours and most machines/equipment were taken and we had to wait a bit - If you don’t want to sit through the time share pitch, be very firm about it. We knew it was coming so when we were checking in and they mentioned the free couples massage, we immediately said no and they seemed off put and questioned us why w e wouldn’t want to do it. Even after giving them a firm no, they called our room a few days later trying again to get us to do it but we stayed firm, so just be prepared.

This was our first time at Unico. We arrived at 4:30pm and waited to meet our concierge. Around 5:15 someone just came and brought us to our room saying the concierge would meet up with us in the morning. We were told dinner was by reservation only. We tried to call several times, but couldn’t get through. We decided to just walk down since it was only 2 people. We were unable to get a table. They told us to come for 8:30. We had traveled and were hungry. Our room was nice. We paid for an ocean front. The first 2 nights we had someone above our room move furniture or clean till after midnight. 3 rd night was worse. Loud music from venue next door till 4 am. We had our noise machine on as loud as possible and wore earplugs and still we could clearly hear the beat. We were so tired from little sleep we asked to get a different room. We were told no they had nothing available. We knew we needed some rest and sleep so we asked to just get the last 2 nights money back and we would head to a different hotel to get some sleep but again we were told we would get no money back. So we were then offered a different room…. Not impressed. The hotel had beautiful grounds and the breakfast was the best food we had at this resort. Other then that I am sorry to say we will not be returning nor recommending to family and friends.

We love the resourt . This was our 3rd time, and we will keep coming back. First, the service and especially staff are impeccable. The rooms are large and clean . It's very quiet and peaceful . The restaurants are very good , with a lot of variety. There is something for everyone .
