We visited the Udaya on our first trip to Bali and it was an amazing experience. The staff were very amiable and we were welcomed to the property with a drink and loads of smiling faces. The property is well maintained with clean rooms and loaded with amenities. A special mention about Listia and her team who decorated our room with flowers and a lovely message for our honeymoon. We were greatly impressed by the lavish spread of breakfast options and also the other in house activities offered at udaya. We tried out the balines costume (thankyou Listia) , relaxed at the spa (thanks to kris and aswin) and also enjoyed a good dip in the massive pool. We enjoyed the company of our new found friend Tirtha at the restaurant who guided us through the balines cuisines and customs. We ended our stay with a lovely surprise cake for my husband who happened to celebrate his birthday in the same week. Truely grateful to team Udaya for giving us one memorable stay. We do look forward to visiting again soon. ❤

This was the most amazing place we’ve ever stayed. The staff is so helpful and friendly. The views and service cannot be beat. Clean rooms, great food, truly exceptional! 10/10 recommend the Udaya, you won’t be sorry! Also, very close to downtown Ubud, great location!

Recently had the pleasure of staying at Udaya Resort, and it truly exceeded all of my expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and exceptional service. Udaya organised very lovely wedding ceremony for us. The place of ceremony has tremendous view on the jungles and volcano. The venue was well decorated by the hundreds of flowers. Amazing experience! The staff were great and we were able to relax and just have fun.

The friendliest staff in Bali! The most beautiful surroundings, the gardens are magnificent, food is great, service second to none. This place is an oasis and I didn’t want to leave. They made my partner’s birthday extra special. Thanks Udaya!

My husband and I stayed at the Udaya Resorts and Spa Hotel for my birthday vacation. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone. The staff were very friendly and went above and beyond to ensure that we had a good experience. The hotel was very clean and beautiful. When I arrived the bed was decorated with rose petals that said Happy Birthday! They even had a beautiful message on the mirror wishing me a Happy Birthday! This truly made my day! The food at the resort was delicious. We ate breakfast every morning. The restaurant staff were very nice and welcoming. Everyone is extremely polite and nice. We had dine-in room service for lunch and dinner. We had a very relaxing experience at the Spa at the resort. The entire experience was AMAZING. This was our second visit to The Udaya within the last 9 months, and it's safe to say that the entire team has outdone themselves both times. There are so many beautiful places to stay when visiting Ubud, however Udaya stood out to us as the resort is located just outside of the hustle and bustle of the busy city centre. Everything from our initial booking request, to the moment we left was met with absolute ease. With this visit being extra special as we were celebrating our baby moon, the team took their service to the next level. We were welcomed to a beautiful Jungle Suite (which I highly recommend, as you have your own private pool encased in lush greenery and a stone outdoor bath which is great to warm up in when/if it rains without having to go inside). The room was decorated with rose petals on the bed and an incredibly thoughtful note on our mirror - such a nice touch! We opted for the included breakfast, which is worth its weight in gold. The restaurant has a beautiful variety of Western and Indonesian cuisines to choose from, along with a buffet of pastries and delicious fresh fruit. If you're breakfast people, you cannot go wrong here. A special shoutout to Budi and Gavin for the beautiful "welcome home". Gavin went out of his way to proactively make us feel welcome (i.e. placing extra mangosteens in our room because he knows we love them - noted from our last stay, and extra beach towels and water). The fact that he remembered us was so lovely and unexpected. His kind and genuine personality is one of many beautiful heartbeats of The Udaya - making us feel as though we were staying at a family member's house instead of a resort...one of the many reasons we decided to come back. Another highlight was our cooking class with Supartika: the chefs were happy to personalize the menu to ensure it was pregnancy safe and I so deeply appreciated that. We had a really fun afternoon putting together a delicious traditional Indonesian meal guided by his culinary expertise. We aren't typically excursion people, however, this time around we wanted to pay and extra special visit to the water temple to bless our unborn baby. Again, Gavin caught wind that this was something we were interested in and seamlessly arranged for a 4 hour tour with the wonderful Putra. An honourable mention is well deserved for Putra, as he picked us up from the airport and made our half day excursion one to remember. As an Ubud native, he's full of knowledge and is a great conversationalist. His positive attitude really makes him stand out, and we were grateful for all of our interactions with him. Last but not least, the Deeva restaurant staff... what a wonderful group of humans. In no particular order thank you to: Suitri, Dewi, Nari, Satria, Dek Na and the talented kitchen crew who remembered our orders from our previous visit, fed us, and took extra care in ensuring I wasn't eating too much spicy food (because it's not good for the baby hahaha). Every meal felt like chatting with family members. We so appreciate you all (and we apologize for the names we did not mention). The people of Udaya make the place, however, I can speak to the amenities as well. The beds + linens are incredibly comfortable, the rooms are equipped with a flat screen smart TV, the pool (both the one connected to our room and the main pool) are very clean and maintained daily, and room service is only a call away. We really love their gym and yoga hut, as it's a great place relax or get a quick workout in. They also have a free shuttle that leaves every hour for drop off and pick up in Ubud's centre which is a really nice touch. Honestly, this resort is a place of tranquility, luxury, and true Balinese hospitality all wrapped up into a natural oasis of happiness. If you're looking to be left better than when you arrived, please visit The Udaya, and enjoy all that there is to offer. We had an amazing stay at Udaya Resort, the food was great, both private and main pool was amazing. Comfy bed, great amenities and the spa was lovely - definitely recommend the flower bath! Service was incredible from everyone. 10/10 recommend!

Great stay, lovely staff! Would highly recommend staying in this place if you’re in ubud. They have a free shuttle to town which is very convenient. Lovely swimming pool and complementary yoga and other activities. Breakfast is also 10/10

The most amazing stay! Beautiful hotel with gorgeous big rooms. The pool was an amazing highlight too. Felt like we were in the middle of the jungle is was so lovely. The staff were also so lovely and helpful with activities including free yoga classes and nature walks.

The free breakfast in the morning is wonderful with a great selection of local food recipes and more western typical foods. They also cater to our vegan diet. The staff are friendly and welcoming. They are genuine and learned our names after the first few days. We are so appreciative of the staff for making our stay so amazing, and we would gladly stay here again!

We went to Ubud for 2nd time, but decided to stay at The Udaya due to previous reviews, I mean having 5* reviews is not something you see much, right? This place is heaven! The staff cannot pleased you more, food&drinks are amazing, the terrace garden view rooms have their one little pond full of koy fish (they leave a full bowl of fish food for you to use each day on these amazing fish). The rooms are huge, clean and have amazing toiletries, the breakfast is an a la carte where you can choose 3 courses (all freshly made with organic ingredients ❤️. They prepare fresh gluten free dishes and each morning they are making fresh GF pastries just for you 🎯 The food in general here is amazing, they combine the ingredients in such way that you don’t want to miss anything on their menu, the dishes invites you to try something new every time you walk in their restaurant. The 4 o’clock tea - we found this a very nice touch- between 4-5:30 they serve a free cafe/tea and home made cookies to each of the guests - every day different selection. We will thank Kristan, Dewi and Listia for their services but really, each member of The Udaya regardless of their duties are making an amazing team, therefore the THANK YOU goes to them too. The yoga room, gym and spa these are also a must. The plants, the trees , the flowers, pools and basically everything about Udaya is looked after the staff daily with such a natural behaviour that makes you feel at home and never want to leave this place. If you look at the map - don’t worry they have free shuttle to Ubud village every hour, so the distance is not a worry.
