There are certain places in the world where you always look forward to visiting again, and UMA Ubud is one of those places. I’ve often called it our ‘ Home Away From Home’ and every visit is a enormous relaxing experience This time I’ve celebrated a special occasion at UMA and everything was so nice I never wanted it to end. The room with private pool was the best, the view in the morning while sipping a coffee and hearing the sounds of nature nearby ….. I get up extra early sometimes just for this experience. Breakfast at Kemiri is a likewise wonderful experience with the Koi pond in front, and very tasty dishes on their breakfast menu as well as freshly made juices, fruits, breads and homemade yoghurts, too many too mention. R joined the cooking class at Kemiri and as it turned out it was a private class to prepare a lovely fish dish together with the Chef of Uma. Throughout our stay and my birthday celebration the UMA Team has been nothing short of Excellent and Accommodating, so helpful in every way, a big thank you to all who made my celebration Stay One to Always Remember !! 👏🏻🙏🏼🙏🏼

Everything in this place is magnificent. It's a perfect place for honeymooners, solo travelers and family alike. The place is so serene, you can just unplug and unwind to reconnect and recharge. I like the morning yoga sessions which starts my day right, followed by a hearty breakfast (which you can order from a-la-carte menu) and fresh fruits which are divine. They have a gorgeous pool area where you can lounge the whole morning till afternoon and enjoy some snacks and drinks from the bar. The new gym is also a highlight as it's spacious and feels very private. My husband enjoyed this and commends it highly. Food wise, you don't need to go out of the resort, their in room dining is superb as well as the Italian restaurant, Uma Cucina. We loved everything in this resort and would definitely visit again. A paradise indeed.

Everything was lovely …. But especially the staff. A genuine warmness. Highlights among them and only because we saw their names now as I write this Lina, Yande and his squad. Plus the boys in the bar who weee happy to stay up chatting long after they closed. Perhaps the best thing was Boody our Yoga instructor who got us off to a most magnificent start each morning. He reads the group and somehow finds away to appeal to all levels. That was transfomational and really set up a great day each day. But it didn’t end there the reception staff were totally committed to our care and attention. Beautiful place, beautiful people, great food and we will return. Many thanks to you all.

So far i stay at King Terrace with huge and good services and the bfast good with many variaetif menu also the servies from the Silvi and Ayu and Tini very good. The room with Smart TV support Net Flix and Prime Video and have yoga mat and coffee maker...

The COMO brand is well known in Asia so we knew COMO Uma Ubud would be a special experience. We’d intended to stay in Sanur, on this our umpteenth time to Bali, but it was a last minute trip, our usual hotel was booked up and the normal place we choose in Ubud has now changed hands and not for the better. Then we remembered a lovely dining experience we’d had at Como Cucina, Uma’s Italian restaurant on a previous visit, when we’d glimpsed the entranceway to COMO Uma, and thought it looked very inviting. Needless to say, it might have been a spur-of-the-moment decision, but a fab one. We decided - unusually for us - to forego hiring a car and self-driving, which I normally do for Bali, and that was the 2nd best decision. We just mainly parked ourselves at Uma, chose a few of the walking tours on their weekly schedule, ate either in the hotel or walked to restaurants nearby … while close to central Ubud, the Uma is far enough away from the madding crowd that it feels like a sanctuary. Its yoga platform overlooks the valley towards the famous Tjampuhan ridge and if you choose to, you’re led every morning by their lovely in-house yogi, Budi, who is personable, funny and a great instructor. All their staff are so well-trained. They make the effort to address you by your chosen name (we couldn’t quite figure out how all the staff managed this, what with the substantial guest turnaround) and because it was our honeymoon, quite a few staff wished us our special stay, and we were gifted free wine and chocolates. Many of the staff have been with COMO for over a decade and many spoke of how they remained on the payroll throughout the Covid pandemic, so it was good to know they are well taken care of. It’s made us fans of the COMO hotels now and we’d love to give their sister hotels a try.

Our last stay here was, in January 2022 (just right after Covid), when the resort was still very quiet, virtually no one on the streets, no cars or bikes noises and the main Ubud area was still creepily quiet, with many shops still shut down. Fast forward to September 2024,...

Our last stay here was, in January 2022 (just right after Covid), when the resort was still very quiet, virtually no one on the streets, no cars or bikes noises and the main Ubud area was still creepily quiet, with many shops still shut down. Fast forward to September 2024, we decided to come back to Ubud and choose this resort, known for its proximity to Ubud Centre. Entering the resort was like coming home, with staffs welcoming us back here. This time we choose the Uma Pool Villa, which (based on our request) is located at the most secluded and furthest. We really love the villa, its interior is huge, with huge sitting area, bedroom, toilet and expansive garden with pool. The resort is located just 2-2.5 km away, 8-10 mins from the main Ubud Centre (with light traffic). Filled with greenery, everything is very well curated here, ensuring privacy from one villa to another. though at busy times, we rarely hear or bump into other guests, except during breakfast or in the main pool area. Being in Ubud, the air is cool, and morning was a bit chilly..., and we just leave our backyard door ajar, to hear the various birds singing and chirping. squirrels are frequent among the trees, and we spent most of our days (when not going out), just relaxing in the lounging sofa or by the pool in the backyard. However...have to say that overtourism is Bali's biggest issue, traffic jam is bad. during morning, it would probably take only 8-10 mins to reach Ubud centre, but by mid-day to evening, please expect at least 25-30 mins. Even from the resort, (since its dead quiet from our villa) other than the sound of nature, we can hear construction noise in a distance (but this is not a problem for us). Its the contrary to what we saw in the early 2022. Breakfast is fantastic, with Special of the Day, many to choose from the Menu, and great Coffee ! Being in Como property, one must at least try their SPA, its the best (am not exaggerating). We spend 2 days of our 3 Night stay, trying their Spa menus, and they were so invigorating. The Pool, gets busy during the day, so we prefer to swim early in the morning, before venturing out Ubud area. complimentary Morning Walks are very recommended, the guide will take you to nearby village, rice field, explaining the local daily Balinese people life. 3 nights never feels enough, but once day we will come back again. Our stay here was fantastic. Staff greeted us by name anywhere we went on the grounds, the food was great though a bit limited, and the atmosphere was just what we were looking for. Such a relaxing, beautiful place to stay in Bali. Highly recommend and will be back.

This this is my third stay at COMO and it is such a beautiful resort. Five stars all around. Everything is amazing. The location, the gardens, the rooms and of course the wonderful staff. The food and drink offerings are exceptionally good. The hotel also offers daily activities including yoga and tours through the local village. One of our favourite activities was the Balinese cooking class with chef Dewa.

Wow wow wow WOW! The Como Uma Ubud hotel is truly spectacular in every way. From the wonderful, friendly and super professional people who work here, the magical setting and gardens, to the delicious food and drinks and the fantastic amenities: pool, yoga, spa, restaurants - everything we tried was great. We stayed in a Uma Pool Villa King - which was so luxurious and comfortable with a beautiful view of the jungle and valley from the infinity pool. The outdoor showers are so dreamy and all of the products smell delicious. There are thoughtful touches - like fruit (and amazing spicy peanuts) on arrival and we loved waking up for a sunrise with a coffee on the terrace. There are a lot of steps from our villa (31) to the pool, breakfast or exit but helps to burn off the exquisite breakfast. A calm and peaceful hotel in buzzy Ubud. I could not have asked for more from this stay - thank you everyone!

The resort was spetacular and had a very peaceful atmotshere. Room was stylish and clean. We didn't have any issues with bugs coming into our room like other resorts we've stayed in the past. All the staff were attentive, friendly and welcoming. Would definitely stay here again.
