Gorgeous and peaceful. If you’re looking for a place to detox, Loren at Pink Beach is right for you. If you’re looking for nightlife or accessibility, there are likely better choices. The setting is stunning., with a small private beach. The sand is not so pink but is powdery perfection. Rooms are large, spotless and well appointed. We were on the first floor and the patio was large.
Staff is very attentive and friendly. Restaurant on site is ok and overpriced for portion sizes.
Since you can’t rent a car, you need to use the buses or taxis. It does take a large amount of time to go even a few miles and taxis are not cheap.
So if you want pampering, beach, no sightseeing, Loren is a great choice.

1st trip to Bermuda. I worked as a hotel rep for high-end resorts while I was in college. I had to have an encyclopedic and first-hand knowledge about those few O&O properties . So I figured ‘let’s find out’ about Bermuda. For the record, it’s in the Atlantic Ocean, several hundred miles east of NC. It’s not in the Caribbean. It’s not 80 degrees year round. All that said…the hotel and its rooms are stunning. The staff are: professional, friendly, indulgent, intelligent, kind, knowledgeable, accommodating. The restaurant is extraordinary except for the snapper which ain’t what I’m used to (boo). Other than that ingredient miss, chef Godinho is extremely gifted. And dayum, Bar master “Trouble” (Johnathon) has invented an absolutely diabolical drink called Key something. We were a shipwreck when we arrived. We left restored. That poor staff had to put up with us til we calmed TF down on day 3! Notes: the island isn’t walkable, skip swizzle, skip the Dockyards, St George’s is worth the trip if only for Wahoo’s fish sangwich (that’s how I heard it pronounced), taxis all charge different rates, buy a digicel SIM card to save $ on your phone, face-it-you’re-going-to-spend-$250/night-for-dinner-for-two-anywhere, prolly KFC even. I’m going to miss your sunny smile Mary Ann

Cara at the front desk has been so helpful and friendly. Gabriel our waiter is great too. The pools are clean and warm. There’s outside yoga and the beach is so private. Water is a bit cool in December but we went in anyway. The food is amazing too. Wow what an experience!

This is our 5th Bermuda visit and we have stayed in different hotels, but The Loren surpasses them all.
It is uniquely located on a private beach facing the ocean, which provides constant ocean surf and gorgeous views of the turquoise waters. Arrival at The Loren is a pleasant experience and the decor of neutral hues, natural wood furniture and fine art is immediately relaxing.
Our room 313 was perfectly situated overlooking the pool, beach and expansive ocean. It was quiet and the large balcony with comfortable furniture became our second room (including for sleeping!). The king bed was very comfortable and the linens soft. The double bathroom was huge, with a deep soaking tub, lovely lighting and wood finishing. Little things like a magnifying mirror and excellent hairdryer added class. The entire hotel and especially our room was very clean and well maintained.
We enjoyed hours by the pool on the ocean with comfortable lounge chairs and very thoughtful and attentive staff. The spa facial and pedicure were by a very experienced Balinese esthetician. My wife’s skin looked lovely the whole week.
We really enjoyed the healthy breakfast options and all meals were well done. I recommend the fruit yogurt parfait but with plain yogurt. The omelettes are huge and tasty. Dinners were delicious with large portions. Room service was efficient and good. We enjoyed the laid back restaurant feel with high level service.
A highlight for us was the friendly and accommodating staff, including reception, pool, dining, housekeeping and concierge. All made us feel so welcome and at home. We used the bus service regularly and their new App. It worked well for us.
When we return we will stay nowhere else.

We visited this resort to celebrate our 40 th anniversary. Travel from Philadelphia was very smooth and easy. We were greeted by the taxi the hotel had arranged. They checked us in early after being greeted with some drinks.
The balcony king room was beautiful, overlooking the gorgeous ocean and had a large deck. A beach bag with the hotel name is left on the bed for you. Mine was full of sand, guess the last guest didn’t take it home!
They quickly remedied the situation and offered many apologies.
The hotel was very quiet and relaxing. The food is very expensive as in all of Bermuda so get ready to spend on food and drinks.
I had a nice facial in the modest spa and we frequently ate at the pink beach club where the food was very good. We did visit a few restaurants outside the resort which added at least $50 for the taxi ride.
Nice place for couples looking to relax but expensive.

We stayed at the Loren for our honeymoon. The views from the balconies and pools are absolutely incredible, and everyone was so kind and quick to call us taxi’s for what we needed. A couple things to note: the pillows are truly the worst I have ever slept on in my entire life. We even asked for stiffer pillows to be brought literally the same ones. If you’re into the down pillows that loose their shape completely when you put your head down and form a concave to where you’re head is practically on the bed, you might enjoy them. But after 6 nights of sleeping on them, I was ready to get home to my own.
The menus: both at their restaurant and for room service are pretty lackluster. They don’t have a very large selection. The food was good, but again not a whole lot to choose from.
The Spa: I was pretty upset about my experience here. We booked a couples massage for 2:00, and arrived at our scheduled time. What they don’t tell you is that from your appointment time on cuts into your massage. They have you fill out a form and also ask if you want to get changed into robes, but that it would cut into the massage time. We got there at our appointment time, paid $360 for a couples massage for 50 minutes, but by the time we were finished with the consent form, our masseuse came and got us, got undressed and ready for the massage, it ended up only being a 35/40 minute experience. If you pay for a 50 minute massage, you should be getting the 50 minutes period. So maybe arrive 10/15 minutes early so this doesn’t happen to you.
Overall we had a nice experience other than the couple little things.

I originally offered this feedback privately and didn't hear back, so decided to share it more widely. My husband and I went for our honeymoon in June 2024. We did a ton of research and ended up picking the Loren because we wanted truly a luxury experience for this once-in-a-lifetime trip. Leading up to our stay we got a lot of communication from the hotel asking about our favorite snacks, drinks, preferred activities etc. I honestly felt like I was on an episode of Below Deck and was picturing staff showing up with our selections throughout our stay.
Landing at the airport, our prearranged transportation was not there and we awkwardly relied on other taxi drivers to text/call our driver before he finally found us. Arrival at the hotel was great and we had some complimentary drinks while checking in. Our room was beautiful and well-taken care of and we did have a small fruit plate waiting for us. However, that was the end of the road for any special treatment or acknowledgement of our honeymoon. The manager even told us directly the staff "couldn't wait to spoil us all week" and yet nothing ever happened aside from the baseline good service. I wasn't expecting the world but we spent several hundred dollars on meals/drinks at the restaurant, bar, and pool (in addition to the price of lodging for the week), and it would've been so exciting for at least a couple staff to acknowledge it was our honeymoon, or have some complimentary champagne or dessert at a meal. I've seen birthday and anniversaries more acknowledged at lesser hotels with wine in the room, flowers, or at even just staff members mentioning the occasion. Honestly it felt like a real letdown and made me wish we had stayed somewhere else where we would've gotten a full "honeymoon" experience rather than just being on a nice trip.
For a small boutique hotel I was really surprised and disappointed that halfway through our stay a family with 1-2 small children was put in the room next door. Soundproofing was shockingly bad and every morning at 7 on the dot the children were up and screaming and arguing with their parents until they left the room. I totally understand families being loud and having a hard time, but it was so disappointing to me that there wasn't more thought into who was going in what room. I didn't have the energy or desire to complain because I figured best case scenario we'd have to move rooms, which I didn't want to do. Also, while service at the pool was great I was again surprised and letdown by certain things for such a luxury hotel; the biggest example being that we ordered tequila shots and they just came warm in plastic cups. I don't historically go to extremely nice hotels but I feel like it wouldn't be that crazy to expect them to be chilled and served with salt and lime. Overall I think the Loren is a very nice hotel and would be a good spot for a vacation, but it didn't seem wroth the price to me, particularly for a special occasion. Maybe I was wrong to expect lots of personalized service and above and beyond treatment, but for the price we were paying it seemed like we should get it.

My husband and I just returned home from our first kid free getaway for a birthday celebration! Everyone at the Loren was so amazing, the hotel is truly gorgeous and the beach is lovely. We were so relaxed and the beach and pool were perfect. The rooms are impeccably clean and the best part of them is the oversized balcony where we sat every morning and night. The only suggestion I would say is that it would be great if there either was a more casual restaurant to be able to grab a bit more casual food or maybe even another option. I would not let that deter you though as room service is excellent and eating on your balcony is just as awesome! All of the food we had was delicious and the ambiance of the pink beach club is gorgeous. We also appreciated the pool/beach side service (especially Natalie!). The bartender at the Maree lounge was also awesome! We cannot wait to come back!

Michelle and Chay were the two concierge personnel who orchestrated our visit based on our preferences. Everything was taken care of … transportation, dinner reservations, tours. Perfect service.
The valets and front desk staff were very accommodating …. Serena, Kara, Alan, Noel and Kenny to name a few.
The wait staff at the restaurant were all fabulous. Especially loved Marianne and Jomba (sp). And Kenny at the bar was so knowledgeable and interesting.
All in all, impressive. Thanks to everyone at The Loren.

My partner and I had exactly the get-away we needed and were looking for at The Loren, and Bermuda in general. The rooms are comfortable and well-appointed with what you need. The service is super, very flexible to meet whatever your need may be. Great beds, lovely lanais. The pool is small-ish but was perfect, even when it was during the busy time. The beach is fantastic, one of Bermuda's many coves. The snorkeling gear that the hotel lends is some of the best I've ever used, including sets that I've owned myself.
The menus at both Pink Beach and Maree are "fancy" and, if feasible for the scale of the hotel, I think a great addition would be a lighter, less formal menu with true local flare -- some ideas that I had when hungry at lunch or afternoons: fish or shrimp sandwiches, a cold salad take on codfish and potatoes, a banana bread sweet for afternoon poolside, and/or a fruit plate with local fruits.
Fitness center great. Bellman / taxi service is great. Restaurant and poolside / beach bar service is great. Everyone we encountered was warm and shepherded us to our vacation vibes.

My husband and I stayed at this truly lovely resort last week for five nights in celebration of our 26th anniversary in a gorgeous king balcony suite on the second floor. Sahlay did a very nice job checking us in complete with Prosecco and a tour including the wonderful spa where we booked a facial and massage (both of which were among the best we've ever had!).
The balcony was just so amazing that we had room service breakfast there every morning. Jeronna did a great job bringing breakfast to us every day. She was always very punctual and had amazing attention to detail making sure everything was right!
Days we spent the day on the spectacular beach we also received excellent service there as well. Of particular note were Ron, Santano and Natalie who really took the time to know us, take photos, and take excellent care of us. The water is absolutely turquoise and a group of parrot fish hung out by the shore every morning.
On Wednesday we did the perfume workshop at Lili Bermuda in St. George's which I highly recommend!
Dinner (and lunch!) at the Pink Beach Club were always delicious. especially the tuna poke! One evening we were greeted by the hostess Megan who made us feel extra special and took our photo while wishing us a happy anniversary. Our server, Ajit, that night was truly exceptional moving a heavy umbrella over us when a shower passed through as well as bringing us a special anniversary dessert and taking the time to talk with us.
Cara at the front desk was particularly helpful to us especially in dealing with the car service set up through the hotel which was late (over 30 minutes) picking us up at the airport and again on our return to the airport. Cara should be commended for her helpfulness and patience! On a bright transportation note, we found the best taxi driver who had the cleanest taxi, was always early /punctual and an absolute joy named Danielle (DBtaxi23@gmail.com 1-441-703-7986). We used her all week and were thrilled with her service.
Dont hesitate to book your stay at this magical place!
