I dont write long reviews but a few notes for this spot. Known for their spa, you need to go at least once it’s epic. If you can, get a room with Western exposure. We were in villa 17 and it’s a 20 minute walk, so you need a buggy everytime, small issue for a near perfect spot. Recommend to definitely rent a boat, try with another couple if possible as its about $1,000 for four hours, but getting to see other islands and snorkeling (good at the hotel) is much better in other spots. Another small issue is there are only certain days that certain activists are given, make sure you spend time on coordinating what you want to do, as we missed a few things and we were there four nights. Food is very good, I would recommend the full board. Breakfast is slightly above average, but lunches and dinners were excellent. Hamburger (of all things) was very good. Make sure you let your waiter know if you want rare or med rare on steaks that they understand, this was a small issue. Caprese salad was ok, soft shelled crab with papaya was excellent. Steak tartare excellent. Fish of the day, excellent. Tiramisu was a bit below average, coconut parfait was the best dessert by far, ice cream sub par. Gym is also very good with a spectacular view, which was cool. Makes sure you have a cocktail at sunset, perfect setting. Two comments for management. If you take a boat ride tip in cash, if you tip on the bill the boat staff does not get the tip, weird. And this was the worse WiFi connection of the 8 properties we stayed at, very frustrating, they need to address this, you cant be the best hotel in the Seychelles and have the worst WiFi, not at the prices you pay.

This is a beautiful property with world-class customer service. Our concierge, Sanjay, was on top of every detail, and saw to it that we had a fantastic experience. We were set to renew our vows on the beach, and when monsoonal weather threatened to cancel our plans, Sanjay and team figured out a great alternative plan, which we fortunately did not need. We loved and would recommend the signature suite, which was beautiful. The helicopter ride from the property to the airport on the main island was a great way to conclude our stay! We would love to stay here again!

We just finished a glorious 10 day honeymoon at this property and we can say it was the perfect location and property for our honeymoon. Starting with being met at the helicopter landing pad by Anton the Resort Manager along with a personalized golf cart greeting us made me think of Mr Roarke and Fantasy Island 😎 Our Villa (we stayed in #21) was spacious, comfortable and had spectacular views. It was very private and we felt like we could not see or hear any other guests in their villas scattered throughout the grounds. When we asked for a portable Bluetooth speaker for the pool and to take to beach with us Anton made it happen. The room also came equipped with a espresso maker and a milk frother so that was a lovely surprise as there are not enough luxury resorts equipping their rooms and villas with milk frother for those of us who love a good latte or cappucino. Our assigned GEM Fatira and Abdel as well as Rahgu who took care of our villa not to mention the amazing spa staff ensured that our stay was top notch. Alvin who did our rum tasting and wine tasting as well as served us during some of our special experience dinners will go far in life with his work ethic and personable approach to hospitality. The crew that worked the breakfast always met us with big smiles and a genuine attitude to start our days well. Of course there were some minor blips like undercooked poached eggs, over cooked steaks, not stocking cold water and towels in the La Digue boat trip (€50/each way per person) and a rude buggy driver guide on La Digue that was arranged by resort but frankly those were addressed promptly by staff and did not majorly impact our stay and experience—hey just training opportunities in my eyes. HIGHLY recommend this amazing resort!

The beaches are line a movie and so private, they are perfect to disconnect and rest. The treatment of all the staff is wonderful, especially Vladimir, a very polite and responsible worker. In addition, he is very friendly and helped us at all times during our stay at the hotel. We will have very good memories.

We decided to revisit the Seychelles because it left such a lasting impression on us from our first visit before the pandemic in 2019. It was out first time staying with Six Senses Zil Pasyon and we were certainly not disappointed. After a long flight from the UK once we finally arrived at the jetty we were given warm reception by the GM Frans and Cristian along with the welcome party. We were whisked away to over Ocean View Villa by Cristian, where we completed all the check in formalities. After a guided tour of the villa and a brief explanation of the island resort we were allocated our Gem Abdel. The moment you step foot on the island you are made to feel welcome by the entire team at Zil Pasyon. What make this place so special is the fact you are so connected with nature, tranquility and privacy. It feels as though its your very own piece of paradise. The breakfast buffet was great, we also pre-ordered breakfast in the villa which was placed the night before and was delivered on time the next day. As you walk around the island exploring the beaches, spa area and the hiking trails you are just simply in awe of the place. Our villa was just perfect, the house keeping and turn down service was spot on. The highlight was your very own infinity pool over looking the ocean. In the main dining area lunch and dinner is served, our GEM Abdel always kept us informed of the speciality menus on offer for dinner. We were also given a private tour of the residences which cater for larger groups or family located on the other side of the island. A big shout out to all the staff especially Karen and Latifa who looked after us so well during lunch and dinner services. The F & B manager John was simply a joy…full of energy and focused on delivering excellent service for all guests. Spa manager Deepak and Santana were superb, making sure we had an amazing time by the infinity pool to catch pink sunset with champagne and nibbles. I would also like to say a massive thank you to the entire team for the amazing birthday cake and champagne to celebrate my birthday. Special thanks to Abdel and Marius for making our stay so memorable. We will definitely be back in the future.

We selected Six Senses Zil among others great hotels due to our terrific experience at Six Senses at the Douro last year. This is a family friendly resort. Most of the guests were families by the time we were there. If you are a honeymooner, check if this would be what you need; it would not be a secluded couples-only experience. If you come as a family with kids, check your kids needs as for food and activities to guarantee you would find what you expect there. Nature at Felicite Island is gorgeous. The villa was great and housekeeping was good. Spa service was excelent. Wi-fi was terrible, unstable and unreliable. If you would need for any reason a good connection there you would run into trouble. The major issues were with food, the kitchen and services. The GEMs (what they called their buttlers) were basically unhelpful, not to mention misbooking our dinner appointments, transportation, etc. Beach service is non-existing (they should state this clearly) and pool service is almost non-existent; totally substandard. They have issues with food and stock managing. Many of the main ingredients and dishes were not available. Couple this issue with a very limited menu (check the kids menu if you come with kids). We expected an excess of food...not shortage. THis might not be a place for you if you are a foody. Good food does not to be fancy, but this kitchen is simply not tasty (other than the shortage). Breakfast was good, but its service was terrible, almost non-existent. No one to take care of empty buffet plates, to remove empty dishes from the table, juice machine that does not work, etc. To add to the damage, they kindly offered us a late check-out which was highly appreciated since our heli ride to the main island was in late afternoon; just to receive a message in the early morning that they would need to cancel the late check-out since they had an overnight booking for our villa. They stepped back after we complained to the manager, but the damaged was done. Very annoying, never seen something like this before in decades of travelling. We were truly disappointed. Be aware.

Difficult to know where to start. The room had a beautiful layout, sensational views, well equipped with Fridge, wine cooler, coffee machine and Ice maker, however it was showing its age, a little and needed attention soon. The beaches are not particularly inviting or impressive. There is basically one restaurant where you have breakfast lunch and dinner, save for the theme nights where the ocean restaurant opens. On one occasion for breakfast I ordered scrambled eggs on toast with Avocado, I was told the avocado wasn't freshly sliced but more of a Guacamole, I said no to the Avocado. along comes an inch thick slice of toast half covered with Guacamole the other in what I can only describe as half an egg scrambled, It was quite pathetic. I sent it back and was told the chef had been asked to make me a very large scrambled egg, all I wanted was a normal portion nothing else. Before dinner we had a drink in the bar, I ordered a Gin and Tonic, there was no tonic in the bar the guy had to run to the store room he brought back 2 bottles, what cocktail bar is not stocked with Tonic water?? Chopsticks night was a disaster at a cost of £150 per head for those on bed and breakfast it consisted of a limited 2 choice per course menu. we decided on the Lobster spring roll, which had exactly zero lobster in it, followed by the Rendang beef, It was so tough basically inedible . We complained to the staff and a discussion took place with the Executive chef who basically walked off and said nothing. To add insult I ordered a bottle of wine and the waitress who brought it over to the table had never opened a bottle of wine before, so I had to open it myself to save her from being embarrassed. After that evening we had room service 3 time which was good, but didn't envisage eating Pad Thai in my room for a week. The resort seemed totally understaffed with the exception of Marcus who worked the Pool, the bar and the restaurant nobody else there seemed to care in the slightest. I get the whole Six Senses theme, but this bordered on a complete lack of service and attention by everyone. We cut short our stay by a day , and went to the Constance Lemuria, totally different vibe but let me say the food the service and the attention was absolutely top class and very much welcomed. You just get the feeling that since the IHG takeover in 2019, too much emphasis is put on expansion and profits over good old customer service.
