once again an outstanding holiday with wifey @Jackie Parker and as beautiful as the resort is what makes this stand out is the people - Mark and the team do a spectacular job and if you want to know what Customer Service is all about then these guys have it down to a tee!!! this is our fourth visit and every time is just gets better - our GEM Nancy who organised whatever we needed and on our final evening arranged a surprise sunset drink - simply above and beyond just so special - the gang Lote, Eleanor, Seini, Akisi,Toga ,Kira, EMI, and Joe all contribute to what makes this paradise so wonderful - Head Chef Winston always accommodating any special needs and the whole team at Six Senses Spa thank you and Maria can’t wait till our next treatment magic hands!!! What a wonderful stay at Six Senses on Malolo Island. We were greeted with incredible hospitality from the people of Fiji. We were pampered with lots of love and passion all day long. Our personal assistant Sana was available for us day and night and read our every wish from our lips. Many thanks to the entire team, who were always keen to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Many thanks also to Marc and his chief engineer, who made Dominik very happy with a typical Fijian shirt. We were very touched by the great attitude of the people here in Fiji. Our stay at Six Senses Fiji was fantastic from start to finish. Our villa was beautifully presented and maintained daily, made even more special with personal touches from Sana. Eliki was welcoming from the moment we arrived, always full of positivity and happy to discuss the island and our trip. Asi, Lote and Shelley treated us with a smile and warm welcome, remembering personal touches (like our daily coffee order!) along the way. The facilities at the resort (including the spa, gym, hot and cold plunge pools) were always pristine. The food was fresh, delicious and full of variety each day. Six Senses Fiji was more than we could have ever dreamed. From the GM Mark greeting you and checking on you multiple times a day, to the staff truly treating you like family. Seini and Elenoa took great care of us at the restaurants and turned into great friends, Sera was too much fun making my Fijian lei with and even came to sing to us as we left, Joseph and David were excellent guides on our snorkeling excursions, Eliki made sure to take care of us and never lost his smile even in the downpour that came during our beachside dinner. The crew working the activity hut on the beach was amazing, I wish I could remember their names! Ben, Brenden, Aranisi, Jimoci, and Toga were all great too! Our GEM Sereana made sure our trip was amazing! The scenery and resort is breathtaking, but it is the staff that truly make this resort unforgettable! I cried as they sang good bye to us and our boat left the marina. So many fun activities from sitting on the beach, hiking, snorkeling, etc. We are already dreaming of going back and taking our little one along with us.

This review corresponds to the Surfing Operations at the Six Senses Fiji resort on Malolo Island. My non surfing wife and I stayed at the Six Senses Fiji resort for 6 nights from January 8 to January 15, 2025. The Surfing Department is run by Dan Sinclair, and has other assistants and surfing guides, boat captains, and other personnel. I’ve organized my thoughts for this review into areas that a surfer (who is also a guest at the resort) would care about. Safety: As surfers, we sometimes do things that are dangerous. We sometimes put ourselves in situations that can be sketchy. However, at the Six Senses resort, Dan, his guides, and boat captains, make sure that all of this is controlled to the full extent possible. Safety equipment, boat emergency communication and navigation equipment, it’s all there. If it’s your first time surfing in Fiji, or perhaps you’re not familiar with the intricacies of a particular surf spot there, Dan and his group have got you covered, answering ALL your questions, making suggestions about where to sit in the lineup, navigating the tide, current, swell, the inside reef, etc. And, if you get yourself into a potentially sketchy situation out there, Dan and his guys will let you know. Find me the best waves!: Every time we surf we want the waves to be THE BEST. And as surfers spending money to go to Fiji, we hope and to a certain extent, expect good waves. Dan Sinclair has a profound ability to surf. He also has an extreme amount of knowledge about surfing, and specifically surfing in Fiji. He can process local swell, wind and tide data, and produce a local Fiji surf forecast in a way that well known surf forecasting models cannot. This was proven day after day during my stay. His guides also have many years of experience in the local waters and prove that keen local knowledge is one of the cornerstones of a first-class surf guiding operation. These guys own it, and they are proud of it. The result…….you paddling to catch a great wave over a shallow reef, while your surf mates and surf guides are screaming and whistling for you! Equipment: Yes, we all would like to bring our own favorite surfboard to Fiji. Traveling with surfboards is a costly, giant hassle, let’s face it. I did not bring my own board on this trip. What I saw at the Six Senses Fiji resort was an INCREDIBLE, vast selection of surfboards for hire. It’s nothing less than a beautiful selection of boards for all types of surfer abilities, styles, and wave conditions. The boards are very well maintained, and all waxed up and ready to go for your surf session. Can’t decide which board to pick out on a particular day? They let me bring two boards on the boat. It doesn’t get any better than that! Communication and spirit: You get a daily detailed message from Dan Sinclair every afternoon regarding tomorrow’s surfing plan. Tide, swell, wind and other weather and ocean phenomenon are all explained related to the spots you’ll likely surf. Like the rest of the Six Senses Fiji resort, I found the Surfing Operation employees to be very enthusiastic and happy to make sure that each guest is having a fantastic time. The Fijian culture seems genuinely very welcoming, laid back, and happy to me. This is nowhere more evident than at the Six Senses Fiji resort and the Surfing Operation there. The level of genuine customer service is as good or even better here than anywhere I’ve traveled and surfed throughout the world. This resort and its Surfing Operation is simply first class and they are committed to placing the guest at the center of what they do. Actually seeing, hearing and feeling each employee doing this…….that’s what is truly special. Go surfing with Dan Sinclair and his guys at Six Senses Fiji. You’ll love it!

This was our first time at 6 senses and we had 3 superb nights. Mark and his team make an amazing effort to add a personal touch and everyone is kind and friendly. Our GEM Pana was truly a gem! He made the stay run smoothly and dealt with any issues, however small. All the staff addressed us by name and took a true interest in personalising the experience. The masseuses were excellent and the guided snorkelling was informative and fun. The best way to finish a trip from the USA back to Australia and relax and readjust to time zone before returning home

Wow Wow Wow What a place, General manager Mark has the resort No1 for us, he has created such a very special place, we stayed three times in 2024 and it has definitely become our go to place, so easy to get to via a helicopter from Nadi From the moment you approach the the resort you start to realize how special this place really is. The genuine welcome you receive from the staff sets the bar very high and that bar does not drop. Each stay got better and better for us, our go to room is the beach front pool vila which is beautifully appointed with everything plus more you would expect from a 5star resort, keeping the “Fiji feel’ with all the mod cons, the private pool proved to be a real hit and you are only meters to the oceans edge! Plenty to do if you want or do nothing at all, we loved the early morning gym sessions followed by long walks around the resort. The whole place has a very relaxed feel about it, very easy to get around and everything is so well maintained. We loved the focus on wellness and sustainable living The real winner at this resort is the people! Starting at the top with Mark the General Manager, to have him take the time to firstly welcome us on arrival and give us a brief run down of the resort, then to have him stop by a number of times each day for a chat is so refreshing. He has a real passion not only for the resort but for his people, you can just feel it when talking to the staff and the results are there for all to see. We spent a week at Six Senses as part our honeymoon and had an amazing experience all around! The Villa we stayed in had the most amazing views and felt super clean. The beach and facilities were all top notch. The service and all the staff was incredible and made our stay even better. Our GEMs, Pana and Marika, were always available to help with our requests. The food and dining was another highlight of our stay. The whole staff was super friendly and attentive to our dietary needs. Chef Manish worked with us throughout our stay, giving us time and attention during busy service, and prepared the most delicious meals for us! Shelly greeted us every morning at breakfast with a smile, as did the rest of the waitstaff. Ben made us great drinks at the bar. And Miri took care of us at lunch. Also shoutout Shai for taking us on a hike of the property and getting us fresh coconuts. A great vacation overall and would highly recommend.

Where do I begin with this place… My wife and I came to Six Senses to celebrate our honeymoon and they made us feel special. The management and staff were exceptional! I would like to first thank Mark (general manager) and our GEM Sana for providing exceptional services. Special thank you goes out to 2 very special waitresses Akisi and Seini! Both of them have beautiful souls with beautiful smiles and made us feel very happy. Huge shout out goes to the experience team (Isaac, Save, Sai, and Koto). They gave us unbelievable experiences starting from getting coconut from the tree, the coconut show and preparing the food!

We are fortunate to have visited some amazing places in the past, but Six Senses Fiji blew them all out of the water. It was a truly magical experience located in paradise. From start to finish, we were made to feel cherished as guests - every single member of staff was so warm, inviting and genuine. There is something so special about being greeted by your name and with a friendly ‘bula’ wherever you are. The service is incredibly attentive. In particular, the GEMs who look after you and are readily available to contact at any point in your trip (shout out to Knox who was outstanding - we really couldn’t have asked for more. Our trip wouldn’t have been the same without him!) I cannot fault a single moment of our trip from the incredible food, the beautiful location, the itinerary for each day (including water sports, iguana spotting, film nights and more!) and the wonderful people. It’s unlike anywhere I’ve ever been. A real highlight was the Christmas tree on the beach, mingling with guests and the wonderful staff, and being invited to share kava. It really was like being invited into a family. Six Senses, thank you - what you offer is extraordinary indeed, and we can’t wait to come back soon.

We had an incredible experience at Six Senses Fiji, and a big part of what made it so special was our butler, Sana. He was absolutely amazing—attentive, helpful, and truly went above and beyond to ensure our trip was perfect. His dedication and kindness made our stay unforgettable. We were also fortunate with the weather, especially considering it was the shoulder season. The natural beauty of the resort is breathtaking, and the quality of the produce is outstanding. However, while the ingredients are top-notch, we felt the food could use some refinement. The potential is there, but it seemed like the chefs could benefit from a bit more guidance to elevate the dining experience. That said, the team’s flexibility and willingness to cater to our preferences were a highlight. The chefs were incredibly accommodating, allowing us to customize meals to our liking. Their attentiveness made all the difference and significantly enhanced our stay. Overall, Six Senses Fiji is a stunning resort with amazing staff. With a little more polish in the culinary department, it would be unbeatable. We look forward to seeing how it evolves and would gladly return! Romi and Joel.

A special shout out to Meri, Kira and Savei serving us in the restaurant. And the outstanding, warm and friendly staff at water sports: Manasa, Meme, Simi, Brendon, Joseph as and Kaiwai. This review is a 5 star shout-out to the Six Senses Fiji surf program. I live in San Diego and have been lucky to surf everywhere from home to Hawaii to Thailand to the Maldives and Fiji many times. While I've stayed/surfed with both Tavarua and Namotu in Fiji, and had no complaints, the crew at Six Senses...Dan, Fazzy, Mani, Captain Eli...went above and beyond to spread the stoke. Dan kept me well informed of conditions and boat times, and the quiver for hire allowed me to leave my boards at home (and also gave the crew the opportunity to suggest the best board for the day). I surfed a completely different board than I ever would have thought, and it worked great. And they look out for their own, especially where safety is concerned. As an example, I got dropped in on pretty badly (by a Namotu guide, no less), and as a result got pinned inside. They made sure I was ok before having a word with him, which everyone in the lineup appreciated. The pay-as-you-go model may be a change from the all-inclusive Tavarua and Namotu, but I actually paid less staying and surfing at Six Senses than at either of those other islands. Your mileage may vary, of course. If surfing is factoring into your decision as far as where to stay in Fiji, you won't find a better crew.

Particular shout outs go to Sai and Isaac for being all-round legends, to Dr Aju for his amazing yoga classes and wellness screening, Seini for being an incredible waitress, Lani for being a great GEM, Toby for an amazing snorkelling experience, Sai for looking after our room so brilliantly and Mark for taking care of us so well. Congratulations! Your search for the perfect Fijian resort is officially over! My husband and I stayed here for 6 incredible nights to celebrate our 24th anniversary. As soon as we exited the airport we knew we were in excellent hands. The staff could not have made it easier for us to get to the resort from Nadi. Everyone was unbelievably warm and friendly, and the property is clearly well looked after. We stayed in one of the beachfront pool villas, which is beautifully constructed and furnished. The pool feels intimate and private, yet the stunning beach is only a few steps away. The ocean water is pristine like Bora Bora's, but warmer. The white sand beach never feels crowded, and there is fantastic snorkelling only a five minute swim away. Besides the wide range of water sports on offer and cultural and fire dancing, there are tons of activities to keep everyone entertained. We appreciated Isaac teaching us the story and significance of the coconut tree to the Fijian people, how to weave traditional baskets, and introducing us to the kava ceremony. We also had fun spotting endangered iguanas on the many noni trees on the property. What we do not see mentioned in many reviews is the alchemy bar, which was one of the highlights of our stay. Shivani took us to the garden and showed us all of the wonderful plants and herbs that they grow on site and their many uses. Everything smelled just divine! These herbs are used in both their restaurants and spa. Using the natural body scrubs and aloe vera mask that we created from scratch was pure luxury. We cannot recommend this experience enough! I also had two massage treatments at their award winning spa. The 'Wow Treatment' is very much deserving of its name! A few shout outs to people we want to thank again, we sincerely hope we got all of you and appologize if we missed anyone! Mark (general manager) - for personally welcoming us to the resort and your attention to detail! Our GEM - Tanya, an absolute superstar who made going well above and beyond look easy and effortless! Housekeepers - Sai, who took loving care of our villa and truly made us feel at home Navi, Leba - for making us feel like family! Our Six Senses stay was fantastic, made especially so by the spectacular staff who went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant and relaxing as possible. Shout-outs to our wonderful GEM - Marika; Sai from housekeeping; Ben & Joe in the bar; Kira, Akisi, Eleanor & Shelly in the restaurant; and Koto, our beautiful guide on the village tour. And last but not at all least, our new friend Issac, Activities Director who was just so lovely and so helpful! 🤗 Six Senses is a stunning resort. Very similar to a Maldives experience, especially the rooms, all with pools, and a GEM to manage all your bookings etc. Just a note on the prices. This place is very expensive. Geared more to the EU & USD market, and much more than the resorts on Denarau (twice the price for food, alcohol, motor sports, spa treatments etc.) and transfers, also very expensive. However, that is the price you can expect to pay for a Fiji island stay with higher shipping & staff costs. But the people, location, beautiful accommodation and quality food make it all worthwhile. Just relax & enjoy!

We absolutely loved staying at Six Senses Fiji. This was our first time in Fiji and first time staying at a Six Senses property. We were absolutely blown away! We arrived by speed boat and the property manager Marc greeted us at the dock. There was a group playing and singing to us as we arrived. They called us by our names and said Welcome Home. Very fun and it set the tone for the whole stay. Our GEM Tanya was so good at taking care of us and so easy to reach when we needed something. A big shoutout to Sara and Onni who made our villa sparkling clean. We also had a special treat when Raj the Lead Engineer gave us a behind-the-scenes tour of how a place as special as Six Senses is maintained. And Seini was the kindest waitress. She waited on us the night we had a special dinner on the beach. The beach was extra beautiful and we had it to ourselves most of the time. The water is clear and filled with fish. We couldn’t believe how many pretty shells there were. We highly recommend Six Senses Fiji!
