Siesta Hotel

The experience was great as a first time visitor to Grenada. The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating and got us a car rental in just a few mins of making the request. The custodians were very friendly and ensured that the room was clean. The price for the stay was very affordable and the views were amazing. The garden and premises were well kept and there was always security in the night time making us feel extra safe. The place is located on a hill so prepare for a little trek up to your room depending on where you are placed. Our room was on the top floor of one of the buildings but the view of the Carenage made up for the little walk up the stairs. The only thing was that the room was a bit dated but the bathroom was very updated so we were fine. Overall for the price, location, friendliness of the staff and beautiful views I would recommend this hotel.

This is a unique hotel with a great location and all the comforts of home. The views are my favorite part! The staff is super friendly and does a great job of getting you what you require. We rent the 1 bedroom apartment and it's kitchen has what we needed to cook our own meals, and super comfortable beds. Housekeeping does a nice job . Only comments that are negative is the towel count is low, so you have to wait for laundry before getting fresh towels. I also prefer a kitchen rag for cleaning countertop rather than a sponge. These little things don't keep me from highly recommending Siesta Hotel for your next stay in Grenada!

We chose this resort based on previous reviews about its close proximity to grand anse Beach. The location did not disappoint as it was less than a 10 minute walk to the beach and within that same area there were several restaurants and bars to utilize as well. our communication prior to our arrival was a bit lacking. They told me that if I gave them my arrival time with flight information, I would have a cab waiting with my name and the hotel logo. I did this, but it did not happen. There are plenty of taxis to and from the airport, so this was not a major issue when I arrived. when we arrived in our room, we immediately noticed it lacked some basic amenities. No hairdryer, lotion, shampoo, and a safe that was not functional. We brought it to their attention, and they gave us some shampoo and assured us, the safe would be fixed. Apparently, they looked at it, and it was not fixable, but we were able to lock our valuables with the front desk person on site. The front desk personnel were outstanding, Alyssa and Diona went above and beyond for all that we needed and were delightful at all times! The grounds and landscaping on this property were exceptional, bright, and beautiful to start each day! The restaurant closes every day at three, so we never had an opportunity to eat there, but there were several other establishments in the area. The pool was generally quiet and lovely. Not a horrible stay for the cost.

My wife and I visited for a week and had a great time. The gardens near the pool area are beautiful, and we saw multiple kinds of birds, including hummingbirds. The room’s air conditioning works well, the shower was nice, I have nothing to complain about. There is a nice spot for food right near the pool area, open for breakfast and lunch. All of the staff are incredibly nice and welcoming. We were helped multiple times booking last minute tours, cabs, given directions, etc. We would absolutely return again.
