Secrets Playa Mujeres Golf & Spa Resort

The entertainment team was amazing! Felix and Carlos will take care of you! The volleyball was the best! Great competition! We had a great time! They were always engaging and had something for us to do. The food options were very good. I found something I liked at every restaurant!

Very relaxing experience! The service was great. Room service was very good. The food was ok but was able to find something I liked at all the restaurants. Night life was ok, could have used a little more entertainment options. Overall a very good experience.

. While being repeat guests a Secrets resorts , it was our first stay at Secrets playa mujeres for two weeks . We really enjoyed our stay and give high marks for the food quality when compared to other Secrets resorts in Mexico. The upcoming major renovations of the resort are welcomed and it should make it more appealing . We also enjoyed the reserved beach section for the preferred guest as we appreciated the high quality service of Marta , Jaime and the concierge team. We hope that this section will be expanded with more palapas in the rénovation project. A special thanks to Diego Rivera manager of the preferred concierge team. Hopefully we will return to the resort next year.

The rooms are very dated and in need of repair hence the big renovation in April. We paid a lot more for a swim out room and the pool was so tiny and ice cold. We didn’t even use it. Best part of this resort is hands down .. the ocean!! Big waves, white powdery sand, no sargassum, absolute perfection!! Unfortunately, they do not offer enough lounge chairs on the beach. Only a select few people who get up at 6am to grab them, will have chairs. Very unfortunate as it’s such an easy fix. Tons of room, I don’t understand it, buy more!! Food was fantastic. We went to most of the restaurants. Incredible food! Staff work so hard at this resort, there’s nothing they won’t do for you! Tipping well definitely helps. It’s very close to the airport, maybe 40 mins through the city. Check in was so easy with drinks waiting upon arrival. Watch out for TimeShare guy Chris after you check in. They will offer you $280 resort money if you view the new Dreams resort rooms and listen to their sales pitch. It takes 2 hours and you have to give a very firm NO in order to get out of there! The $280 can be spent at the gift stores, golf, spa etc. I thought it was worth it to get the resort money, as golf was insanely expensive! We used all the resort money on golf, and then some! After dinner it was kind of boring. The disco music after 11pm will kill your ears if you are over 30. It’s really for the 20 year olds. There’s nothing much for an older crowd after 11pm. The resort is very hidden in tropical bush. You can’t see where everything is. A golf cart takes you to the sports bar, disco, restaurants, main lobby etc. Its lush and beautiful! I would not go back to this resort, nor pay that kind of money again. I’ve been to many great resorts that offer the same for a lot less. Even so, we had an absolutely GREAT week because it’s all about the people that you go with, really.

Best place ever. The staff was all great. The entertainment crew especially Carlos was really great. Food was mostly good and clean rooms. Carlos made our trip 100x better along with the rest of the crew by the pool. Would definitely come back because of them

We absolutely loved our time at Secrets Playa Mujeres. This was an anniversary and birthday trip/first time away from the kids in years! We stayed in the Preferred Club Master Suite with Private Pool, the resort, staff and beach exceeded our expectations and provided exactly the getaway that we needed....

We absolutely loved our time at Secrets Playa Mujeres. This was an anniversary and birthday trip/first time away from the kids in years! We stayed in the Preferred Club Master Suite with Private Pool, the resort, staff and beach exceeded our expectations and provided exactly the getaway that we needed. The room was amazing with the ocean view and private pool we mainly spent time in our little pool and at the beachside beds. One of the major highlights for us was the beachside beds and the concierge Jamie Lagunas was amazing! The food was very good, the only tough part was some inconsistency between the information on the app for what restaurants were open versus what was closed daily. The resort and staff were great especially Jamie and we will definitely be back someday.

We went to visit Secrets Playa Mujeres for a week in January and a week in February. What a wonderful stay with excellent service and friendship! There is a reason why Secrets Playa Mujeres is a favorite of ours, and it really comes down to the people. The resort is great but the staff excels on so many levels. The Beach/Pool Concierge Team is incredible. Martha, Jaime, Alejandro, and Jessica. Each and every day they were there to make sure everything was perfect. We are so grateful for our friends looking out for us. Our favorite server is Liesbeth at Portofino. She made each dining experience so special, and the food complimented her efforts. Chef Luis is amazing and made us the best meal of our whole trip. Also, David and Daniel were there to provide service with a smile. The Preferred Club was always fun and gave us excellent service. The whole team is happy, upbeat and always willing to help. Special acknowledgement to Wilber in reception for all his help, and the bartending staff who were so entertaining. Last but not least, our UVC rep, Karina was so helpful and such a good friend. Thank you for all your service over the years. We always look forward to seeing you when we visit Secrets Playa Mujeres. The staff are what make this resort. They are all so friendly and fun. The entertainment team especially Fernanda who made my birthday extra special are wonderful. Shout out to Memo Jesus Juan and all the countless others who made our week by the pool so much fun. The waitresses by the pool and beach are wonderful and work really hard. Great service by Eugenia, Jasmine ,Rosa ,Katie and the countless others and all the staff in the restaurants especially David Seaside Grill, Louis , Philippe too many to count all wonderful people! The food was good and plentiful. The rooms could use new pillows and a general upgrade. The furniture in the Rendezvous at the pool was very uncomfortable and we did not find enough seating outside at night unless you went by golf cart up to restaurant area. The pool furniture and beach furniture also needs an upgrade and more of it. Unless you arrived at the pool or beach before 7 -730 you could not find seating. The beach needs washrooms closer by and a bigger shaded bar area and more chairs and umbrellas. The beach is beautiful. Made our stay memorable. I am not sure Iwould return to this resort but would definitely visit this area again.

Secrets Playa Mujeres is a spectacular resort! My husband and I spent a week in April and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The food was delicious - our favorite restaurants were Bordeaux and Portofino and we also loved being able to go over to Dreams next door for the Mediterranean restaurant there. The grounds were clean and beautiful, the beach was very walkable and clean and the entertainment was great as well. The best however was the staff who provided exceptional service in the restaurants and especially poolside and the cleaning staff does an amazing job. Highly recommend this resort!

This was our 6th visit and we celebrated our 40th Anniversary with a 2-week stay. We were aware that this resort would be closing in a few weeks for a major remodel, but hoped to get the same great service we had come to appreciate here at SPM. It started off a little slow. Occupancy was down and more restaurants were closed than usual. However, after a few days, things were definitely busy and the staff was hopping. More restaurants open, but generally a 45 min wait unless you went right at 6pm. We had a hard time planning a nice anniversary dinner without paying an exorbitant amount of money. The chair wars were in full swing, but the pool concierge group did their best on clearing empty chairs for those that actually wanted to use them. Thankful for Martha, Alejandro & Jessica! The servers at the pool were outstanding, like usual! My favorite smiles were Delmi, Katia, Karen, Jazmine , Diana & Edher. Everyone works so hard! Can’t forget to mention my favorite person at the Market Breakfast Buffet. He’s been serving us since 2019! Luis is always so happy, remembers everything, and works his tail off!

My fiancé and I had a great experience visiting this resort. Loved their pools and beach. The food was excellent for an all inclusive. Our room was very nice, spacious and clean with a nice jacuzzi we enjoyed. The staff was very friendly and attentive. You have the ability to visit the resort Dreams next door, all inclusive as well. Dinner at some of the restaurants there were just as good. Water slide was fun. We would certainly go back or try visiting other Secrets resort.
