I love this result i came with my brother and just would love to said that the food here is delicious the drinks were amazing. They have a great variation of activities and shows. I wanna point out that raul from animation made are vacations so much fun hes great doing all the fames around the pool wich makes it easier to know other guess great job raul will be back soon hope to see you here thank you all for making are holiday amazing

Staff here have been amazing, they are so friendly and will ensure your stay here in Mexico is comfortable as possible. The food is good and the hostess, waiters and bar tenders have great personalities. Karen, the hostess from the buffet Yucatán, Miguel, the waiter and David, bar-tender all deserve recognition for their dedication and hard work. Well done guys.

Where do I start ? The staff is absolutely amazing .Big shout out to Javier the bell man . What a gem of a human he is . Also all the bellman . Always made sure if I was walking to my room late they would drive me to make sure I was safe Can’t thank them enough.. always a hello and made sure my son and I felt at ease . Entertainment team .. Luna and Chris Mr Hollywood and the 5 of them were the best . I have travelled to many all-inclusive resorts, many different islands and this by far was the best entertainment team I have ever seen. They ran games with without any issues always on time always got people involved. They need to be recognized for their hard work and their commitment to guess to have a good time. The owners of platinum should be very proud of the entertainment team by far. The best I have ever seen at an all-inclusive resort hats off to them my son who is 22 had a blast every single day. They all deserve a raise and recognition for a job well done. Raul Mali Johnathan ramse Raul Amazing hardworking crew The food was amazing and to die for we did the Brazilian steakhouse twice did the rodeo grill à la carte amazing did the Italian, which was good the buffet was not repetitive the grill stations and the omelet stations were great. They never ran out of food. I never had an issue with cold food. Pool bar the people that work at the pool bar were amazing and we always had our drinks The rooms were beautiful. We had a deluxe junior suite deluxe at the building closest to the pool room 2128 and it was clean. The rooms were always cleaned by the time we came back from breakfast. I would definitely recommend this resort. We had nothing but positive to say we had no hiccoughs whatsoever as usual you do when you are on vacation, but we had not one issue at all. The beach we couldn’t use because of the problems with seaweed they were working at cleaning it up, but it was lost cause it was coming in as fast as they were trying to clean it up. Mother nature was to blame for that. I would definitely return to this resort as the staff their work above and beyond there was absolutely no complaints. We went a couple of times to the sunset for their sports bar, which was good and their nightclub, but that resort didn’t have the same vibe as the platinum. If you wanna put a great experience come to this resort everyone is amazing there. I cannot wait to return one day.

We stayed at Platinum Yucatán Princess for 5 days and had an amazing experience from start to finish. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the amenities throughout the resort were excellent. One thing we really appreciated was the variety of food options available each day. There was always something different to try and the 24/7 room service was a huge bonus. We requested housekeeping to make up our room once during our stay and they did such an outstanding job that it felt like the room had never even been touched before we arrived. There were plenty of activities by the pool every day along with nightly entertainment so there was always something fun to do. We also treated ourselves to a couples spa experience which was incredibly relaxing and well worth it. A special thank you to Elizabeth for making our check-in process smooth and enjoyable. If you're lucky enough to have her assist you, you'll be off to the best possible start to your vacation. The bellboys were also extremely helpful and attentive throughout our stay. We'd also like to recognize the servers at the Yucatán Buffet breakfast who consistently provided excellent service every time we come to eat. The resort felt very safe with great security throughout the property which allowed us to fully relax and enjoy our vacation. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay at Platinum Yucatán Princess and would not hesitate to return. We hope to come back again in the future!

We had a lovely stay in Platinum Yucatan! The resort was huge since you can access the sister resorts as well. The food was great, the pools were everywhere and it was not crowded at all. Overall, my friends and I had a great time, but the staff made our time even more incredible! All the servers in the resort were awesome and friendly! However, Benedicto and Bryan went above and beyond to make sure we were having a great time during our meals. Even though we weren’t seated in Bryan’s section, he still greeted us with the warmest smile and acknowledged our presence. This small thing made our breakfast/lunch even better. We also had the pleasure of getting Benedicto as our server for two nights in a row. He was so attentive and accommodating. He made sure we were satisfied with our meals and was extremely nice to our group. If you ever stay in this resort and come across Bryan and Benedicto, then you will have the best meal and time during your stay! While staying in the resort for a week, we made friends with our bartender, Jacinto. He made sure we were having the best time of our lives while serving us good drinks! We loved his personality, and he was truly a gem during our stay. Lastly, we wanted to give a big shout-out to our hotel attendants (bellboys), Misael, Amaury and Javier. Everyone at the front was friendly and welcoming, but they really made an impact during our stay. Misael and Javier drove us to the other resorts and spots with the friendliest aura, and of course shared plenty of funny stories along the way. They also made our stay even better by offering short rides to our room building and ensuring we had a ride on the way back from the sports park. Amaury made sure we were well taken care of and even set up our luggage pick up and wake-up call since he found out we were leaving early in the morning. We really enjoyed their company and appreciated their kindness and positive energy. All staff, especially the ones mentioned above, truly helped make our stay even more memorable! The hospitality in this resort was definitely top-notch!

Hotel itself could use a small update but good value. Food was just a little more than average. Service/Staff was excellent - everyone was so friendly and helpful and special shoutout to the swimup bar bartenders. And the entertainment staff was top notch. Luna and the boys kept us at the pool all day with fun activities. For them to learn and remember our names made us feel so special. They were so good at making sure we met other people as well. Thanks for the wonderful memories.

My family and I stayed in Mexico for the very first time and the entertainment staff at the Yucatán Princess made our experience an amazing one that we will never forget. Especially Luna, who took the time to get to know every single person in our group and spread so much joy! We had such a fun time, thank you Luna and the entertainment team we love you!!!!!!!!

I stayed here for 1 week as a solo female traveller. Upon checking in I knew I had found a wonderful place to stay as I was greeted by staff waiting to help me with my bags, I was swiftly checked in & driven to my room. The rooms are pretty big, slightly dated but not dated enough for it to be uncomfortable. The staff really are what makes this place special! Bryan in the yucatan buffet is AMAZING! Honestly the best service I have received whilst being on holiday. He checked in with me everyday and always made sure I had a smile on my face. I really hope he is treated as well as he treats the guests here because he truly made my experience exceptional. Always ask to sit in his section as he will take such care with you & he’s also HILARIOUS! Maria was also amazing in making sure she asked me about my day & treated me with a lot of care! She will always do her best to accommodate you! The food was great, I never had issues with repetitive menus or anything like that, it was always something different which was perfect! The wildlife here is amazing! Honestly, this is the first time i’ve ever travelled alone and I was put at total ease by the staff at this place! I’m already looking to book my next visit, this time with my partner so we can enjoy this bubble of paradise together!

This my husband’s and mine first holiday in Mexico. We wanted to make it special so upgraded our room to a platinum swim out. First impressions were positive. The check in was swift and we received a glass of sparkling wine and provided with all the relevant information. Our room was extremely spacious and direct access to a pool is certainly a bonus. The beds on the terrace, as previously mentioned in other reviews, are completely unusable and surely there for decoration! They are not comfortable so we used the beds opposite. As the hotel was nowhere near capacity, we often had the area to ourselves or just a few other couples. The food in this hotel was really good and as a fussy eater, I have no complaints. Having access to the à la carte restaurants at the sister resorts is what makes this hotel a great choice. Between the resorts, we ate at the International, Brazilian, Grill, Japanese, Chinese and Mexican. All were excellent and staff super friendly and efficient but the Brazilian was a firm favourite and booked there twice. We also ate at the Sports Bar one evening for a change which had an American feel to it. If ordering named spirits at the sister resorts, you have to provide the number on the back of your wristband/key and sign for them. PYP though has a wonderful touch that you can choose which side to be on during the day, regardless of your room. We often went over to the ‘party side’ to have tacos by the pool and obviously the foam party was a firm favourite! As the hotel was nowhere near capacity, this did make bars very quiet as so many people were spread out. We enjoyed the lobby bar and the pink bottle bar (can’t remember the name!) for great cocktails. We didn’t go in the Salsa Bar as it was empty when we passed by. The swim up bar on the platinum side was great and we had waiter service for drinks by our sunbeds regularly. I didn’t feel like tipping was expected however we pretty much tipped most times for a drink and every time at the restaurants. Nothing much to say about the beach, you have al seen the pictures but the beach bar was great for lunch if you can stomach the smell - you do become ‘nose blind’ to it! We had a walk along the beach though a few times and went for early morning runs and walks around all three resorts. Every staff member we encountered was lovely. All friendly, kind and genuinely want to do their best for you. We got extra pool towels from service with no problem and mini bar was topped up daily with beer, water and cans of pop. I would definitely return to both Mexico and this resort. Although the sister resorts do look more pleasing to the eye, for me you can’t beat Adults Only but having access to the other resorts is fantastic.

We came to Platinum Yucatan Princess to celebrate my 30th birthday and everything about it was great. The resort was beautiful, with lots of lush plants and two pools that are small but nice. You can use the giant pool on the connected princess resort but the bars at adults only had the best and higher quality cocktails and tequila which we appreciated and enjoyed many Passionfruit margaritas! We spent a little extra to stay in the room with a hot tub on the balcony and it was so worth it and so nice to soak in every night after a long day in the sun. We knew about the sargassum at this time of year but it didn’t really impede our trip. We were grateful the resort was quieter during off season and plus the pools were so nice that we didn’t really miss the beach. The resort also has staff every where to help you set up day trips to another beach or anything else, it has a shuttle service to bring you to the connected princess resorts, and it has a paid shuttle service that picks you up right at the hotel and brings you to Quinta Avenida if you want to go. Mario helped us set up our transportation with MTS which was much appreciated. We had such a great experience with EVERY single staff member we encountered. From the very start, Ana made our check in very smooth. Every single bartender gave us great drinks and made us laugh (but especially Sara at Bar Plaza during the Fire Show, thank you for the Scooby snacks!) Speaking of the Fire Show, every single night, ALL of the entertainment was incredible. Do not skip out on anything!! The Fire Show was astounding and took our breath away. The Mexican Show was a beautiful display of dance and Mexican culture and such a treat to watch. However even trivia or the day time activities were all so fun and memorable. A special shout out to ALL of the entertainment team for putting on such great activities every single day. Not only the dancers (who were incredible every single night and then still took time to take pictures with the audience after) but the Fire Show crew and the Mariachi and the Rock Band too. The resort workers really work hard to put out good energy and entertaining shows for the guests. Personal call outs - Malu was hilarious and so kind and warm and welcoming even from the first moment we joined movie trivia. After meeting us just once, she remembered our names and made us feel so great every time we saw her after. Thank you for being you and for sharing your wonderful energy Malu! And another special shout out to Luna who was also SO kind and SO funny and led the most fabulous dance lesson by the pool in addition to giving my fiancé a private archery lesson which he loved! Luna you are wonderful and we can’t wait to come back and see you and Malu again! Side note to talk about food… the resort and the buffet has options for those with dietary restrictions. I am vegetarian and several nights on the buffet there was vegan hot dogs, hamburgers, burritos and more that were delicious. My fiancé is lactose intolerant, gluten free and also vegetarian. The Yucatan Buffet did a great job providing him with a seperate menu and catering to him, however he was quick to realize the buffet itself had many options available for him to eat and serve himself which made him very happy. thank you to the buffet and chefs for taking such good care of my fiancé and his intense dietary restrictions. Not only were there always options for him to eat, but the staff was so kind and attentive which was so appreciated. Despite the wide variety of options to eat at different restaurants, we only ever ate at Buffet Yucatan because we had such a great time and the food was so delicious. We had fantastic servers every day, night or morning. Without a doubt, Bryan was the best we had all week. He was so warm and kind to chat with, but also so great to keep our water and coffee filled without us asking and so quick to have our plates cleared. Thank you for wonderful service Bryan and also a special shout out to the hostesses. Every single day and night, they were gracious and kind and greeted you with a smile and positive energy. They remembered us and my fiancés dietary needs and made us feel so welcomed. Muchas gracias to Citlaly, Karen and Bereniece! Since it was my birthday, I treated myself to a little time at the spa which was also fantastic. The spa is beautiful and feels elegant inside. Esmeralda was incredibly kind and helped me arrange an appointment and figure out exactly what treatments I needed. Bulmaro at the spa gave me a very relaxing facial and chocolate body exfoliation. Thank you to all of the staff at the resort for making my birthday trip so special! Every single moment and little thing all amounted to a wonderful stay and we can’t wait to come back.
