Mango Bay

Beautiful place walk past the pool and the beach oh gosh was beautiful.the friendly staff are just lovely people. Rooms are lovely and big. Our water etc was filled everyday and the snacks. All inclusive lots to choose from. Made some lovely friends. One love bar at the back on a Sunday night is busy loud music and fantastic. Get chatting to the lovely bajan folk.

So a tad old in places and although we had a great room the New Years singer was really loud. We arrived New Year’s Day and was ridiculously tired but she got us out of bed to watch an incredible fireworks display from a neighbouring hotel. Evening meals buffet was superb drinks were flowing but ultimately we started to crash around 21.00🤷🏻 I guess the real question would I return - Yes

On arrival I was greeted very warmly and offered a very welcome rum punch then promptly shown my room ,nothing was too much trouble and truly made me feel so welcome . My room 207 was lovely extremely clean and had everything, needed and in a good location . Unexpectedly I was invited to attend a welcome return meal with numerous other repeat visitors and was a fabulous start to my holiday ,joined by the lovely and super hard working Issabelle I had a wonderful start to my holiday . All the staff I had the pleasure to meet are so friendly and take time to make you feel welcome ,a special shout out to the following Grafton,Annette and Maria, alli, Tionne,kyle Ronald ,Damien and Rayen ..all in there own way are part of why people love this place and feel at home .The food was lovely with a varied menu to suit all tastes the menu alternating with a la carte and buffet style . Snacks also available during the day and of course afternoon tea! Perfect location, perfect size hotel ,I will 100% be coming back .

We are regular visitors to this hotel and we can always say that our stay has been wonderful, I personally emailed them about my dietary requirements and they were very accommodating with it, also since we last visited the hotel there has been alot of updates on the rooms, the bar area and they've even changed the sunloungers ,they've even changed the way the tables are dressed for eating at each meal which is lovely to see, it was really nice to see old friends and and make some new ones ( staff) , my husband has always been a bit of a fussy eater and he tried almost everything on the menu at julians restaurant so thank you for that, it was nice to go back after such a long time and we hope to be back there again in the near future, we feel like mango bay is our second home even if we don't get there very often because the staff have always made us feel really welcome.

2 families here together (4 adults, 2 kids). Loved it. Lots of other similar families with kids, all playing together in the pool and so close to the beach. Loved the drinks in the bucket next to the beach to help yourself and the free water sports and boat. Buffet / Al la carte alternates between lunch and dinner each day with big effort to make sure the food isn’t repeated. Memorable staff such as Annette and Maria who were always cheery and happy and Rayden who brings drink round while your sun bathing. Music / entertainment every night. Great games room for the kids and all the people there were absolutely lovey. Great with kids. Can go off to different places easy or do nothing at all. No Prosecco included apart from a Friday or Saturday night at sunset. If I could make any recommendations I would say staff can some times roll their eyes when you ask for a complicated drink/ or won’t switch the blender on until 10am for a milkshake even though it’s only 4 minutes until the start time. Ice cream is frozen solid and needs to soften for 20 mins before the can serve it. Also BBQ is very slow, probably needs more staff. Despite a few niggles and maybe a few updates needed, we absolutely loved it and will be back next year without a doubt.

Just returned from a 9 night stay at Mango Bay and would like to express my thanks to all the staff for their outstanding, friendly service. In particular Karon, Grafton, Maria, Ally, Xavier, Sabrina, Annette and Donelle in the restaurant, Isabelle the yoga teacher and the wacky dancing barman with odd socks (Damian?). Jacky the cleaner kept our room spotless every day. The service is a real highlight of the hotel . The food was very good , varied and well peesented. The beautiful beach front setting has the most comfortable sunbeds and the ever changing blue hues of the bay are mesmerising. We also thoroughly enjoyed the free glass bottom boat trip with as much complimentary rum punch as you could drink- a great way to start the weekend! The nightly evening entertainment was first class,especially Nicole Best and Eon. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a small, very friendly, beach front hotel in Barbados.

We’ve just returned from a 12 night stay and it was idyllic. A beautiful hotel set in lovely gardens in a remarkable beachside spot creating spectacular views from morning to sunset. The bar, restaurant and entertainment area have the beach view so it’s a very relaxing environment. Our room was wonderful: a deluxe, ground floor, pool view, through the patio doors to an additional large open fronted covered area, with loungers and privacy voile curtains (if required) and then down a couple of steps to another area with some more loungers for the room which were poolside. This meant that there were lots of options dependent on mood or weather. The room was bright and spacious with a very generous sized bathroom, relaxing décor and housekeeping were fantastic. Slept very well. Staff – Extremely high levels of customer service consistent across the full range of staff. Professional, positive, approachable and friendly – everyone is going the extra mile to make your holiday special. I was left smiling after ever interaction. Thank you also for helping us celebrate our wedding anniversary in such a lovely way and the warm congratulations from different members of staff. The staff really are exceptional. Gym – air conditioned with free weights, cardio equipment, multi gym, mats etc for a good workout. I would go each morning, then do my stretches on the deck area which was beachside to enjoy the view. Restaurant – Lots of choice and the staff add to the atmosphere and will try and accommodate “off menu” requests (I couldn’t resist my daily fish cakes with hot pepper sauce). The Sunday afternoon pianist was a lovely surprise. Entertainment – the Saxophonist, steel drummer, I’m not completely sure of the vocalists names: Leah, mother and daughter duo - Shakira and Selena and another male duo brought Caribbean vibes so you could end your day laughing and dancing. Most were happy to take requests. Shops and restaurants – few minutes walk. If you like an early morning stroll when it is cooler to take in the views, walk towards the right of the beach and after about 7 minutes you will get to a coastal path .… gorgeous outlook. I would highly recommend the hotel and can understand why so many people return…… beautiful place….. This was our first visit but we will be back.... hopefully for longer next time.

This hotel never disappoints , with its great service , lovely food , amazing beaches and overall chilled vibes. Again must thank all the staff for making this holiday, with a special mention to Maria, Sabrina, Trisha, Grafton, Donell, Xavier, Kevin, Petra, Ryan, Dale, Ronald, Maxine, Sherylynn, Anderson and Da-Maria, not forgetting all the watersport boys for all their help .... and to extra special mention to Kyle, Damien and Rayden, who helped us stay horizontal for most of the holiday and waited on us every day of our stay. Location ideal, 20 mins from Bridgetown. Advise take the reggae bus for an experience. Not a big hotel and AI. Entertainment in evening they bring in local people. We had a sea view which was lovely and room was very spacious for two of us. Do some exertions. We did Oistins on a Friday night amazing atmosphere. We also did an island tour called What a Life with Tropical Concierge Solutions. Tour of island in bus for 3 hours stopping at various coast lines and then to Carlyle Beach to relax and get to swim with turtles. Overall, I would recommend this hotel, for the above.

My third time to Barbados, but my kids third so wanted to choose the right hotel for them to get maximum enjoyment and MB didn't disappoint. We stayed for 10 days and from minute one, we felt at home. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff, so friendly and helpful, especially Faith and Donell, who got on brilliantly with my boys. Rooms were generous, bathroom was a nice size and all clean. Only one restaurant but don't let that put you off, the food was very nice, with multiple choice available every day. A lovely small hotel, so doesn't feel overcrowded and even though there is a new hotel being built next door, this doesn't really affect the ambience during the day (although they do start work early!). Free watersports is a plus, and the beach and sea is excellent, as you would expect from the west coast. I will be visiting again.
