Breathless Punta Cana Resort & Spa

The location was great for easy access to the beach. Atmosphere was both relaxing and energetic at the same time. Our room was great with everything we needed and the Jr swim up pool was our favorite. We were pleased with the cost of our whole trip. The whole property is well maintained with the landscaping, pool and housekeeping. Very quite for a good nights sleep. Service was outstanding! Whether it we ate at a restaurant or a buffet the wait staff was always attentive to our needs. We loved the several swimming pools, hot tubs, entertainment and the beautiful beach.

I love the location of the hotel. You're getting a 2 for 1 which is amazing. Booking the hotel gives you access to their sister property next door. The staff have amazing attitudes and remind you why you like taking vacations! The rooms are a good size for vacation and the bathrooms are a great size for 2. You dont feel like youre on top of each other. The swim up pool room is beautiful. I loved that we were near the pool so we could step outside of our room and party without having to go to the main pool. Closing our door cut out the noise if we just wanted to rest! Would definitely go back

The resort was absolutely beautiful. The layout and signage was very organized and easy to follow. The staff was EXCEPTIONAL. The rooms were very clean and spacious too. The amount of entertainment and activities went beyond my expectations. I almost wished I had only booked one excursion so I could spend more time doing resort activities. Shout out to Willy, our personal concierge, for going above and beyond for my anniversary.

My room was in a quiet location, and I enjoyed the calm and serenity it provided. There were a lot of activities to enjoy, and the beach was very relaxing. I particularly enjoyed the in-room service, being woken up and starting the day with a fresh, hot breakfast. The customer service was excellent, and the staff were friendly and willing to help. Of course, we cracked a few jokes together!

I recently stayed here for my birthday trip and overall had a fantastic experience. The resort itself is beautiful, very clean, and extremely well maintained. The pools were gorgeous, the atmosphere was lively without feeling overwhelming, and there was always something happening while still feeling relaxing at the same time. One of the highlights of the trip was definitely the staff. Every employee I encountered was friendly, welcoming, professional, and genuinely engaging. The service throughout the resort consistently stood out. Staff members took the time to get to know guests, remembered favorite drinks, and always greeted people with a smile. It created a very warm and personalized experience that made the stay feel special. A special mention absolutely goes to Joel, our concierge, who truly elevated the experience for us. He went above and beyond throughout the stay and helped make my birthday celebration unforgettable. The entire Xhale team also deserves recognition because they consistently made guests feel valued and well taken care of. The food exceeded my expectations overall. While the specialty restaurants were somewhat limited, the quality was very good. The buffets were consistently clean, fresh, and well maintained, the cafes were great for coffee and quick bites, and the bars had excellent service and a fun atmosphere. One thing I would improve would be expanding access to the Xhale premium liquor selection throughout more bars across the resort instead of limiting it to select Xhale areas. The Xhale experience itself was worth it mainly because of the service and lounge atmosphere. The staff in those areas were especially attentive and personable. They remembered names, drinks, and preferences, which added a really nice touch. It was also nice to see the newly opened Xhale lounge near the front of the resort, although we only had the opportunity to experience it one evening. My only real disappointment was the beach. Unfortunately, there was a significant amount of seaweed during our stay, which made it difficult to fully enjoy the ocean. I understand that this is nature-related and outside of the resort’s control, but it is something travelers should be aware of depending on the season. Another small improvement would be implementing wristbands that function as room keys, which would feel more convenient throughout the property. Overall, I would absolutely return and would still recommend the resort to others looking for a fun, social, and relaxing adults-only getaway with excellent service and a great overall atmosphere.

He was always available, handled every request quickly, checked in regularly to make sure everything was perfect, and made us feel like valued guests rather than just another room number. His attention to detail, positive attitude, and willingness to go above and beyond elevated our entire vacation experience. Great service can completely change a trip, and Willie delivered that every single day. Because of him, our stay felt stress-free, personalized, and memorable. Employees like Willie are a huge reason guests return to Breathless Punta Cana, and he absolutely deserves recognition for the outstanding hospitality he provides.

I’ve stayed at a number of all-inclusive resorts, but my experience at Breathless Punta Cana stands out for one major reason—Butler/ Concierge Willy. From the moment I arrived, Willy completely changed the tone of my trip. You expect good service at a resort like this—but what he delivered went far beyond expectations. He wasn’t just responsive, he was anticipating needs before I even had to ask. From reservations to entertainment through check out, it was smooth sailing. He created special moments for my birthday including champagne and cake in the room and in the restaurant, Special touches throughout the stay. Consistent and thoughtful. What makes Willy different is that nothing felt transactional. He made the experience feel personal. He checked in regularly without being intrusive, remembered preferences, and made sure every day flowed smoothly. That kind of attention is rare, even at high-end resorts. Outside of that, the resort itself delivers a great overall experience. The vibe is energetic but still upscale—you can enjoy the party atmosphere or find quieter spaces when you need to unwind. The rooms were clean, modern, and comfortable, especially in the xhale club where the added perks are worth it. Food and drinks were good and the staff overall was friendly and attentive—but I’d be lying if I said anyone stood out the way Willy did. He genuinely elevated the entire trip.

Loved the property and grounds at Breathless. We upgrade to preferred status, which I would recommend. Check in and check out was very smooth. Our Concierge, Yimi Ramos was wonderful and very thoughtful and helpful - we really appreciated his attention. Rooms are well appointed and any needs were met quickly. Did not order room service. Maid and turn down service was great and very consistent. The pools are great, and you can choose your vibe. We liked the Freestyle Pool in the AM and Main pool in the afternoon. Service could sometimes be slow due to crowds at the pools, but all in all, pretty good. Good choice of restaurants, although we did not care for the buffet, but the other specialty restaurants are better, particular the French Restaurant. Great breakfast, lunch and dinner at the Strip Grill. We stayed five days and wish it was longer.

The best experience ever. As they say magnificent !!! We are always on the hunt for a lively place with a lot music and dancing and Breathless brought that Spend the money and do Exhale soooo worth it Get WILLY as your butler 12/10 He will make your experience top notch but you have to tell him what you want. They can’t read your mind Our room was cleaned at least 4 times a day, bar was stocked with top notch alcohol and snacks and always had bottle water We rate this a 10/10. There is always negative things you can say about resorts but our overall experience compared to others was the best. Employees all greeted with smiles and helpful. Towel lady strict on towels The entertainment team went above on helping you have great time as we love to dance, the lovely ladies and gents always a fun time. They always had crowd participate and they do activities all day so be looking for that. More fun if you actually try something new I hear people talk about weak alcohol. Exhale will get you premium top notch and you can always get ask for a double shot
