Couples Tower Isle, nestled on Jamaica's stunning north coast, offers a truly relaxing adults-only retreat. While the resort's decor and some of its infrastructure might lean towards a slightly dated aesthetic it doesn't detract from the overall experience.
One thing that absolutely shines at Couples Tower Isle is the impeccable cleanliness. Our room was spotless, a testament to the diligent housekeeping staff. It's clear they take pride in maintaining a comfortable and welcoming environment. The beds are very comfortable with lots of pillows.
My wife and I have traveled extensively in the Caribbean and what truly elevates this resort from good to exceptional is the staff. From the moment you arrive, you're greeted with genuine warmth and hospitality. Every interaction, whether at the front desk, the restaurants, or the bars, is marked by friendly smiles and a willingness to go the extra mile. They make you feel like valued guests.
For diving enthusiasts, the on-site dive shop excellent. The dive staff are knowledgeable and professional. They make every dive safe and enjoyable dont forget to bring your certification card. he optional night dive is a must-do; witnessing the reef come to life under the moonlight is an unforgettable experience.
Beyond the diving, the resort offers a variety of activities and amenities to keep you entertained. The pools are refreshing, the private beach is small but nice...and as a bonus...no vendors to bother you. The food is generally very good, with a range of dining options to suit different tastes.
We particularly liked the piano bar. The walls are adorned with photos of famous celebrities who have graced the resort over the years, adding a touch of old Hollywood glamour. It's a great place to unwind & enjoy a cocktail
In summary, Couples Tower Isle is a wonderful choice for couples seeking a relaxing and romantic getaway in Jamaica. While it might not be the most modern resort, its charm, cleanliness, and, most importantly, its exceptional staff, make it a truly memorable experience. If you're looking for a place to unwind, reconnect, and be pampered, Couples Tower Isle is definitely worth considering. And if you dive, you're in for a real treat.

This is not a 5* Hotel. We booked this for a special birthday treat with Virgin Holidays and really wish we hadn't! Probably more Virgins fault than anyone but from the word go this was a dreadful experience. The queue at Sangster airport was just the start of a nightmare two weeks. Following a 2 hr ride from the airport to the Hotel we were shattered and shown a really shabby room which we refused. The Bell Hop said he'd find us something better but then couldnt access the room as the key wouldnt work so disappearted and found yet another room. This was really dated and musty, not what we expected for 5*.
The Hotel has no parasols and at a scorching 30 degrees plus is a disgrace! Our tour of the Hotel took all of 20 mins as the guide just didn't want to know so we were left looking for things ourselves. Smoking areas are 2 very small areas as smoking is not encouraged.
We found staff sleeping in the Lobby on one occasion and the cleaning of the place left much to be desired. We found what we considered to be human excrement in one of the Hotel corridors on one occasion and repairs are a joke.
The place suffers from an influx of seaweed on a large scale and staff just dig a hole in the beach and bury it!
The food is pretty average but if you want something a bit better than book one of the restaurants. Our one saving grace was a meal on the naturist island which was beautiful. We did not have to be naked for that as the naturist hours are 9am - 5pm and our meal was booked for later!
There are so many bad things about this place, food average, cleaning poor, entertainment average, trips average, rooms dated, staff dont seem to care, so all in all not worth booking!

Just coming to the end of an amazing week stay at Couples Tower Isle.
Staff are all wonderful, friendly and helpful, special shout out to Dwight, Phelecia, Whitley, Santana and Joel. Food very good on the whole, esp in 8 Rivers and Veranda, though the pool grill wasn’t quite as good.
Lots of excursions to try, some of which are included for free, such as glass bottom boat, catamaran trip, snorkelling and a day at the sister restort Sans Souci which is 5 mins away.
Rooms are good, clean and comfortable, but perhaps could do with some updating, more plug sockets for example.
If you like cats, there’s at least 10 that live here and are well looked after, the tabby that hangs out by the lobby loves nothing more to snooze on someone’s lap!
Spa is perhaps a little overpriced but you can use the Jacuzzi there for free.

Overall a very good vacation. Three and a half stars is truthful, but I rounded up. This is the original all inclusive, adults only resort built in 1949 and a vacation spot for countless celebrities over the years. Here is a list of ratings:
Resort - 3.5/5 - Rooms are tired in a vintage sort of way. Bathrooms have been updated in the not so distant past. Cleanliness of rooms could be improved. Grounds are luscious and well maintained thanks to Alfred and his staff. Alfred leads the best nature walk we have ever had. A must do. Pools and beach were very good with plenty of seats available.
Staff - 3/5 - About 30 % of staff seemed disinterested. Quite surprising. I even asked a senior staff member if there was any issue with management and I was told it was quite the opposite with staff receiving a 20% raise recently. Shout out to Captain Kirk, bell captain, Giovanni, mini bar man and his brother at Eight Rivers restaurant.
Food and drink - 4/5 - Majority of food was very good with a few glaring exceptions. I ordered beef/steak 4 times and 1 of 4 was good. Buffet could use a few more items. One oddity was that only juices available were orange, pineapple and cranberry. All bottled. Eight Rivers is one of the finest a la carte restaurants we have ever been to in the Caribbean/Mexico/Central America.
Alcoholic beverages were great. Top shelf spirits, great wine and a very good champagne. Champagne not sparkling wine.
Activities and Entertainment - 5/5. Great variety of activities for guests of all ages. Entertainment was very good and plentiful.
Overall we would return but not before trying a few other adults only and all inclusives.

My husband and I spent a fantastic week at Couples Tower Isle in February 2025. We loved everything about this resort! Gorgeous resort with so many amenities. We had a beautiful room with an ocean view balcony and enjoyed the sunset every morning from the swing on the balcony. Food is incredible-with many restaurant options, casual to upscale. So many food choices! The midweek beach party, and final night dinner buffet by the pool were fabulous. The friendliness and hospitality of the staff were the best I have experienced at a resort. Daily yoga and fitness classes were excellent! Watersports, including a catamaran excursion, were all included. The entertainment director, Shaquie, was wonderful. Great musical entertainment every night. Shuttle service to and from the airport was included and was very smooth. We had an amazing week at Couples Tower Isle and can't wait to go back. Highly recommend!!!

We loved our stay! First time in Jamaica. First, we used Club Mobay and didn’t regret it. Especially for the return trip, you get through customs quickly and the way have a great lounge with food and drinks included.
Tower isle is a smaller resort and has a laid back vibe which we loved. The staff was amazing, very friendly and worked hard to keep the property clean. I was amazed with all the seaweed that washes up how well they kept up with it. They were also doing some painting and maintenance while we were there. Some reviewers complain about the condition of the property, but we found the property to be clean and well maintained.
There is a party pool with music and a swim up bar and games during the day if you want to be more social. We stuck by the main pool (quiet) and the beach for most of our trip. Chairs are easy to find on the beach, the pool chairs do get reserved pretty early. Half the chairs at the main pool are in the shade. Shade easy to find at the beach as well.
The food- 5/5! The food at this resort was amazing. I’m not typically a buffet person but even the buffet was top quality. We ate at all three sit down restaurants (eight rivers,
Bayside and verandah) more than once and they were all great. However, Jamaican night was my favorite! It’s a special buffet night on Wednesday with authentic Jamaican cuisine. I wish they served this food more than once a week it was that food. Great entertainment that night with the fire show and steel drum band. Don’t sleep on Jamaican night! Also loved the coffee shop and snacks at the veggie bar during the day.
Spa was an amazing and my favorite massage was the bamboo reed. Also took a couple yoga classes and these were very relaxing.
Excursions- we did blue hole and Dunns river and I would recommend both! We booked with Duncan Caruthers for blue hole and I would recommend him. Not sure whey the resort stopped including Dunns river but fortunately we booked while it was still included. Only disappointment was our catamaran got canceled due to weather and we were unable to rebook.
I would say my biggest complain (not related to the resort) was 5/7 days were red flag. So if getting out on the water and doing water sports is important to you, another area on the island that has calmer waters might be a better choice. I’d love to check out the Negril side or do a split stay for this reason.
But overall we loved it and would book again!

Had a fabulous two weeks here. The hotel was lovely. A lot of reviews said it was dated and tired. Yes it’s an older style hotel (imagine a boutique rather than a swanky new corporate style) but it certainly wasn’t tired. There were maintenance men there every day painting handrails etc and touching up rooms. The room was lovely (5505) and room service was twice a day. All inclusive here absolutely means all inclusive at no extra cost. The food was beautiful - we ate in the Bayside twice, eight rivers three times and then the verandah the rest of the time except the gala dinner and Jamaican night. The tennis coach Colin was great, as were all the entertainment staff. In fact every member of staff were incredible. Nothing was too much trouble. This was our first time here and we were a bit nervous having read some of the reviews but we will absolutely definitely be back! Thank you Couples Tower Isle

We had read that the resort was outdated but it did not appear that way. The room was nice, comfy bed, clean. The food in the buffet and specialty restaurants were all quite fine. The daytime grill was awful as was the so called veggie bar, but the buffet restaurant was a great choice for lunch.
No one ever swam in the 1 pool. I called it the dead persons pool as there seemed to be no life amongst the people alongside it. Just silence. The other pool was the swim up bar and it was full of people who never got out to go pee.
The resort has tons of shade, and pretty much full shade after 3pm, which if you want sun, isn't great.
The snorkel boat was great, even tried night snorkeling!. Never tried the nude island but many did.
Evenings were full of entertainment, lots of Jamaican focused talent, and they were very talented!
The 1 drawback was the staff. No one seemed to enjoy their work. The restaurant staff all looked like that was their first week. A bit chaotic and unorganized, but not friendly. This was our 8th trip to Jamaica and it's always been the opposite.

I start my review by disclosing, I have been visited a lot of all-inclusive resorts over the last several decades. I truly enjoyed my first trip to Couples. Tower Isle resort is smaller sized but did not lack for things to do or eat. Let's start at the beginning Danielle at the front desk always had a smile and was oh so helpful. I loved how close everything was to the ocean; you could hear the ocean from almost every location throughout the property. The bar staff was top notch with special shout outs to Whitley, Devon, Deon, and Conrad. All the specialty restaurants were excellent, but Eight Rivers was over the top. Not to be forgotten the Veggie Bar during the day served bright, healthy, and cool food and drinks. The entertainment staff was ultra friendly and full of energy. My favorites were Cyril, Jada, and Shaquie. So many watersports' activities available and included even a catamaran cruise. Martin with watersport dept was extra helpful. Can't wait till I return next February.

We had an excellent experience at Couples Tower Isle. The layout of the resort is easy to navigate and the sights are beautiful at the resort and at the Tower. The beach is clean, big, and there is lots of shade. The food and food service was amazing! There is always food available somewhere on the resort, and there are themed nights at the buffet offering a variety of flavours every night, with some form of live entertainment around 7 or 8pm. It’s nice to have the option of attending the sister resort minutes away for the day. We met so many great people (staff and guests), though we can’t name them all. On arrival we were greeted by Kirk, who helped us with our bags; he was so kind and laid back. We got a tour of the resort from Shani who is part of the entertainment team; she’s so sweet and has a great sense of humour. We spent a lot of time on the beach doing on-site activities. This resort has a variety of activities and excursions available to guests; some are free with your stay some cost, it depends on your booking package. We spent a lot of time with the entertainment team and the water-sport team; they are well-organized, their equipment is very clean, the staff always make you feel safe and comfortable, and they were always willing to join in on the fun — this added so much to our experience. They always make sure you are safe and happy, they got your back. Shout out to Cyril, Ronaldhino, Brittany, Shaquie, Jada, Jumaane, Dwight and many others for their great company, sense of humour and sportsmanship. They have scuba diving on-site; Capn’ Kurt is a great instructor. The housekeeping staff does a great job at keeping the rooms very clean. Make sure to keep any food you bring to your room sealed or refrigerate to prevent attracting insects - the kitchen staff was amazing for always wrapping our “to-go” food with plastic wrap. The rooms are big and the beds are very comfortable. The spa is clean and comfortable, and the staff was great. Our massages by Christine and Sharon were a great way to start and end our vacation. The resort offers a rewards program with great prices for return guests. We will certainly be returning to this wonderful resort, and recommend it to anyone!

This was our first visit to Tower Isle, but it probably won’t be our last. We stayed at Couples Sans Souci a few years ago and found our experience there was an absolute pleasure. For this trip, when we were hunting for a destination, Tower Isle was a better value than Sans Souci and since we hadn’t been there, yet we booked it. We always use Club MoBay at MBJ airport, and the Couples airport lounge is right next door to the Club MoBay so that’s really convenient. The two-hour ride to the resort may test you but it is worth it. We had a great driver who visited with us from MBJ all the way to the resort. The Toyota minivan we rode in was in excellent condition and just by chance my wife and I were the only passengers, so it was easy to converse with our driver. This made the longish drive much more interesting. Upon arrival there were just a few guests checking in at the same time we were and there was no waiting. Before we knew it a bellman was showing us to our room. A quick stop at the restaurant and activities reservation desk and we had a solid agenda set for the catamaran cruise and dinner reservations at Eight Rivers and Bay Side. Our bellman escorted us to our room in building 4, number 4302. No surprises with the room and we were very happy with the awesome balcony view of the Party Pool with the Caribbean Sea beyond and Sapphire Island, the resorts Tower Isle, just off in the distance. We spent a lot of time enjoying this fantastic view. The room was everything we expected as we were well up on reviews of TI. However, we were not prepared for the endless condensate water that dripped and sometimes ran from the overhead A/C unit in the hallway ceiling of this room. We live in Florida, and we are well educated in the how and whys of air conditioning and this is not how A/C works. The quick solution was to place a towel under the A/C unit to soak up the water. The weather was mild therefore we didn’t have to run the A/C around the clock, so the situation was under control as long as the A/C was off. We talked to our housekeeper about this, and she assured us that “all the rooms do that.” Talking with other guests we found the situation to be abundant. With plenty of bathmats available we just ignored it and continued to enjoy our stay. However, everything in the hanging closet became damp, really, really damp. No worries, you are in Jamaica Mon, enjoy! So, we thoroughly enjoyed the food and the bar service. Plenty of popular liquors for your cocktails. All I really missed was a good brandy for after dinner, but I did acquire a taste for the Jamaican Brandy. The food was wonderful with plenty of choices and lots of Jamaican dishes to keep you healthy. Five course dinners are a true pleasure. Tablecloths, napkins, towels and sheets were all in excellent condition. Housekeeping was superb. Our room was kept spotless every day with turndown service nightly. All that was missing was towel art and a mint on the pillow. Drinking plenty of water is absolutely mandatory while drinking adult beverages in the sun all day. Instead of bottled water, the resort has purified water stations throughout where guests fill and refill their room’s carafe and curtesy water bottles. This eliminates the ecological problem that one time use water bottles cause but provides excellent, safe drinking water to all. Domestic cats abound with a small collection of parrots and parakeets on the garden side of building 4. Speaking of gardens, the nature walk was awesome as the property is loaded with plants and trees you may have never seen before. The majority of the staff are superb with a few duds here and there but that’s human. And speaking of human, the resort’s guests are great to be around. A simple ice breaker “Where are you from?” may lead to a wonderful new friendship for a week or a lifetime. As you have read in other reviews, there are plenty of return guests. This says volumes for the entire resort and its operations. We enjoyed the evening entertainment, classic Jamaican resort fare. Another reason we love Jamacia. The piano bar is great as we do enjoy a sing along. Water sports are alive and well. Plenty of SCUBA and snorkel trips. The glass bottom boat ride was filled with local waterfront info, but we didn’t see much on the reefs. However, the crew was excellent. The catamaran cruise was worth the effort. You take a short bus ride to the cruise port in Ocho where the cat is tied up. Lots of rum punch on board and friendly water sports staff to keep you entertained. All good things come to an end, and we dreaded leaving with the two-hour ride to MBJ facing us. Just by luck, once again, there was only my wife and me needing transport to the airport and our driver was a brilliant man named Rohan. With just the three of us in the car, we had a two-hour, thought-provoking conversation from start to finish. Rohan shared facts about Jamicia that we had not learned in all the trips we have taken to Jamaica over the past 20 years. With Tower Isle now on the list of Jamaican resorts we have stayed at, it is truly one that we will work on revisiting. True Jamaican hospitality because it is owned by true Jamaicans.

"A beautiful rose with a few sharp thorns". The resort has great food, a great location, is clean and is smaller than your larger resorts. There are a few problems with the staff. The majority of the staff is friendly and professional. There were several employees who were verbally aggressive, intentionally intimidating and down right rude. Unfortunately those "thorns" take away from all the positives. A system of accountability to expose those negative employees/experiences will help this resort further prosper in a very competitive market. Good ethics prevent me from detailing these employees and their verifiable bad interactions publicly, unfortunately many of them had no problem creating a hostile customer experience for us and others. (I can provide validated detail and multiple emails to senior management if warranted, in an effort for improvement/accountability.). The resort is top notch, but the few bad apples can tarnish the experience. Respect!

The rooms are a bit dated but housekeeping amazing. Always clean, never an issue. Food amazing everywhere we are. Drinks great. Only negative was small beach, water sports were not avail most of week due to weather. Also I thought catamaran trip included but not anymore.

The food was very good in all restaurants, the best in the 8 Rivers and we also enjoyed the Bayside, especially for its location over the water. There is a Jamaican dinner and entertainment on the beach on Wednesdays which we enjoyed a lot. Also, the Saturday's banquet by the pool was amazing. We also loved the ambience in restaurants for dinners; great romantic lightig and white tablecloths.
We went for a day to the other Couples resort Sans Souci; enjoyed the beautiful grounds and a quiet beach there.
Several years ago we stayed in the Couples Negril which we also liked a lot.
So most likely we will be returning to one of the Couples Resorts in the future.

We just got back from a week at Couples Tower Isle. We were pleasantly surprised at how nice the trip was. Our room had a nice ocean view, as we were located above the main pool area. The highlight of our trip, hands down, was the nature walk. We did a morning nature walk and Alfred was our guide. We've been on nature walks in North and South America and in rather remote areas like the Amazon and this was, hands down, the most thorough, enjoyable nature walk we have ever been on. Alfred climbed trees and got us fruit to try. He pointed out various plants throughout the resort and was all together, wonderful. He cut open almonds for us to try and showed us some plants that weep when touched. The entire experience was just lovely! We also partook in day and night snorkeling with Dwight and Andrew(?), which was unique, as we saw turtles, rays, and lobsters. We tried various water activities throughout the resort and enjoyed them all. The meals provided a nice variety and our favorite restaurants were the two reservation restaurants, Eight Rivers and Bayside. The catamaran cruise was so relaxing, if you have an opportunity you should go. Our favorite employees throughout the resort, in addition to Alfred, Dwight, and Andrew, were Devon and Deon in the swim up bar, always making sure we were well taken care of, and Kasey, who was just lovely in the coffee bar and buffet restaurants. Thank you for a nice, relaxing weekend away!

This holiday was our first visit to Jamaica. We needed a relaxing holiday and that is what we had!
We stayed for 2 weeks from 30th December- the weather was great and the temperature varied by only 5 degrees Celsius day or night (25c to 31c).
The hotel provides guests with a free transfer to / from the airport. They also have their own reception lounge in the airport for guests arriving in Jamaica which provides complementary refreshments.
The minibus transfer from the airport took 3 hours which was gruelling after a 9.5 hour flight from the UK. Plus it took an hour to get through passport control and immigration- a tough start to the holiday.
The hotel is clean. The public areas are smart. The staff are excellent, and the food is exceptionally good (much better than fancier places that we’ve stayed). The facilities are good - pools, coffee shop, bars, restaurants, water sports and entertainment. The tour desk and concierge services are good.
The gardens and beach areas are small - not big enough if you like to go for a walk.
The staff made a huge effort for the New Year’s Eve celebrations- it was an excellent evening; very impressive.
We had a room in building 4 with a stunning ocean view. The only disappointment was the room itself. It didn’t live up to five stars - the room was comfortable / shower was good - we didn’t have a bath, the mini bar was extremely basic, the furniture was tatty and the room was very bare.
There was a lack of attention to detail - various things chipped or loose - no towels in public bathrooms at times (and then only paper towels - not five star!)
The light on our shaving mirror didn’t work - I reported this to reception on our 2nd day and it still fixed when we checked out.
The housekeeping service was excellent.
There are too many good staff to name them all but thanks to Jean - housekeeping, Ainsley - porter, Deon - pool bar, Devon R - waiter, Javon - wine waiter, Shaneece- coffee shop, Colin - tennis pro and the amazing Jada - entertainment.

My wife and I visited Couples Tower Isle from 27th December until 6th January. We had researched the resort, taking on board both the negative and positive comments. As others have said the property is slightly dated, but in our opinion this added to the resorts charm. We had a ‘garden’ view room on the 3rd floor of building 3, it was lovely, clean and roomy with the balcony over looking the grounds gardens, where all sorts of wildlife and tree’s could be observed, with the highlight being able to see the hummingbirds.
One of the main reasons for choosing Tower Isle was the food which was fantastic, from the buffet restaurant which had a vast array of fresh food to the ‘Bayside’ & ‘Eight Rivers’ a la cart restaurants which served elegant and delicious menus. You also had out of hours food available at the ‘Grill’ which served burgers, hot dogs etc all through the night.
The pool areas were great, all very clean and plenty of sun beds. We spent the majority of our time at the swim up bar pool and enjoyed exploring the vast cocktail menu🤪. The beach was cleaned daily by the water sports team and the sea water was lovely and warm.
The staff at the resort are the main reason people return here year after year, we have been to many resorts but the staff here are the best ever encountered, especially the entertainment team who go over and above to make sure everyone is having a great time.
This was our first trip to the Caribbean and I’m glad we choose Couples Tower Isle, we may not be back due to lots of other islands we want to visit, but we would recommend this resort without hesitation

Awful, room was dirty, cupboard doors haven’t been washed in a long time, ants everywhere, bathroom, on 5 thentoilet, in the sink, on the furniture. The stairwells were filthy as well, water leaks throughout the building. Main bar outside…unfriendly, drinks were awful, dirty glasses used.

We stayed from December 16 to the 22nd. We had great service overall (sure there are a few unhappy people but they are a small minority). The food was generally really good and there’s a lot to do. We had one of the newer ocean front suite rooms and had no complaints at all with the room.
Some of the best service came from all the folks at the watersports division, in particular Captain Nevers and Colin provided a fantastic twilight cruise and they were always very helpful. Also Roger and Mark were great for our water skiing session and Mark took us on an awesome sailing lesson. Brendan and Dwight were also super friendly and helpful- couldn’t get enough time on the water!.
The Bayside and eight Rivers restaurants were our favorites and Kim at eight Rivers was a real standout. At the spa,had a great treatment from Tae, who’s top notch!
We had a tiny bit of a glitch on the arrival but Dilly made things right (I also have to mention Kirk and Emeryth were great concierges). We’ll be back!

We had a wonderful stay at Couples Resort/ Tower Isle. The entertainment team and Shaquie (entertainment director) are fantastic!! They really do a great job creating a fun vibe, and offering something for everyone. They did a big beach party one evening, which was impressive. Plus there was a variety of nightly shows and entertainment. The gym and fitness studio was really nice, clean, and well kept.
We enjoyed the coffee shop in the morning, and Bayside was a great Asian inspired dinner option. Staff were attentive and very fun. This resort is unique in that it has a long history and they have embraced the historic vibe, yet kept it current and updated. I highly recommend this resort for anyone looking for a fun vacation to Jamacia!

We had a great time. The staff, food, and entertainment were excellent. We had high winds for a few of our vacation days, so the island and the water sports were closed but we still had a great time. I highly recommend the couples massage. I have been to other all inclusive resorts, and what I think makes Couples Tower unique is that the resort never felt crowded.

We recently stayed at CTI and had a great time. Not everything went perfectly, but we aren't the type who lets a few disruptions or inconveniences ruin a vacation.
We had a Ocean View Jr Suite, which overlooked the main pool. The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom had a small shower and jacuzzi tub (never used the tub). Really no complaints with the room itself. However, we filled out the liquor request before we arrived and then through the website with the given QR code. Nothing was delivered. I stopped by the lobby regularly throughout our stay and made my request. Our order was delivered fairly quickly after that.
We ate at all of the restaurants over our stay. I had no complaints with any of the food. It was perfectly fine, resort quality food. The nicer restaurants gave us an opportunity to dress up a bit and take sunset pictures.
I've seen other reviews complain about this and it was a little bit irritating, but shade is at a premium at pools and the island. It wasn't that big of a deal the first couple of days, but by the last couple, my skin was begging for shade. I was able to find some at the beach though. Others have mentioned this, but the beach is not huge and not much of an area to swim in the sea if that's your thing.
A couple of comments about the island...they do have pairs of chairs scattered over the small island, but the majority of the people during our stay setup around the pool/bar. We usually only went to the pool to cool off and bar to refresh our drinks. I strongly recommend at least going out there once during your stay. You really do forget that you're naked.
Regarding the excursions, we tried to do the resort swap to San Souci, but by the time I asked, they were fully booked. We did the shopping bus trip to get our souvenirs. The bus stopped at 3 different areas. That was was the only time we left the resort.
Finally some tips...bring your own cups, make your reservations for the excursions on the first day of your trip, go to or call the lobby directly to request drinks be brought up to your room, bring sunscreen and aloe with you and don't let little inconveniences ruin your trip. No problem...

We arrived at 11pm feeling dead tired after a long and complicated flight from Hartford but were soon shown to our room and lulled to sleep by the soothing sounds of the waves. This is a beautiful resort!
We had a Premier Ocean view room with double doors that open up to the warm sea breeze. It had a large closet, walk in shower and was bathed in sea green with a large balcony. Beautiful sheer curtains could be drawn over the doors to create a billowy effect.
There were only two drawbacks to the room. One is that, on the balcony, there wasn’t a table on which to enjoy room service even though there was plenty of room for it. The other is that the pillows on the bed were very hard. The bed itself, however, was very comfortable.
Staff was very responsive and most went way out of their way to assist you. For example, we went to the guest computer to print our boarding passes but the computer was unable to connect to the internet. So Marieketa at the front desk went back and spent a good amount of time to print them for us. She was just so nice and helpful!
Breakfast was wonderful with freshly baked crispy croissants and pastries and freshly prepared eggs (any way you want them)! There were so many more choices as well.
The Veranda was beautiful at night and the food was excellent. This was our favorite for dinner. Eight Rivers had the best ambience but the Duck breast and Beef Tenderloin were not tender However the lamb chops were very good
We arrived at Bayside in the rain and were met by the Manager who first said we were late ( thought we were someone else) then said we were early. Not the most pleasant staff member there but that was very unusual! Bayside food was good
The highlight of the trip was the private dinner on the island!! We arrived by the transfer ferry and were greeted by our server with two glasses of champagne when we arrived. Then we were shown to our table which was stunning!! The surf and turf was cooked to perfection and was delicious! After dinner the chef came over to see how we liked it and talked to us about the preparation. The evening Manager also came over to see how we were enjoying the resort
We had the best time here and can’t wait to return!!

How ever the use of towels to save chairs and not use them needs to be addressed.
Out of a week there we got a chair by main pool once and never got one by the pool bar at all.
Undecided if we will return it’s a long drive and not to be able to sit by either pool really sucks

Relaxing Stay with a Few Surprises – Worth It with a Couple Tips!
We recently stayed at Couples Tower Isle and booked our trip through Delta Vacations, which included Club MoBay and private airport transfers—both of which I highly recommend!
Private transfer is absolutely the way to go. The ride from Montego Bay to the resort is about 1 hour and 45 minutes, and having a comfortable, air-conditioned car to ourselves was so much better than waiting on a crowded shuttle bus making multiple stops.
I hadn’t heard of Club MoBay before this trip, but wow—what a game changer! Upon arrival, someone was waiting for us at the gate, walked us past long immigration and customs lines, helped us grab our luggage, and escorted us to a lounge with snacks and drinks while we waited for our ride. The departure lounge was even better—larger, with a full bar, good food, and a much calmer atmosphere than the main terminal.
Now, onto the resort itself. We stayed in a Garden Junior Suite in Building 3. The room was spacious, clean, and well-kept. The overall property is beautifully maintained and the staff are friendly and welcoming.
There are a few areas where the resort could improve:
• Food: This was probably the biggest letdown. The variety and flavor just didn’t meet expectations, especially compared to cruise ship dining. Portion sizes were small (not necessarily a bad thing), but I often found myself ordering two entrees—which the staff were happy to accommodate.
• Reservations: You can only make one reservation every five days for the two reservation-required restaurants, which felt limiting. And although the Verandah doesn’t require reservations, we waited 45 minutes for a table at 8:00 PM.
• Activities: Definitely book excursions ASAP. I went to reserve the catamaran cruise right after checking in, and it was already fully booked for the week—which was frustrating.
• Noise: Light sleepers, bring earplugs or a white noise machine. There’s a rooster that starts crowing around 4:30 AM, a water feature near the lobby that starts up around 6:30 AM, and landscapers begin work before 7. You can also hear the cars from the road.
• Beach & Pool: The beach is pretty but small. Chairs were always available, which was great. However, beach drink service is inconsistent—you’ll need to put up a red flag for service, and even then, it was hit or miss. The pools could be cleaner; the swim-up bar pool had a noticeable film of sunscreen, and the main pool had quite a bit of sand build-up.
• Spa: Excellent! Very relaxing and well-maintained.
• Bird cages: These could use some TLC. As someone familiar with exotic birds (my dad owned a bird store for 25 years), I noticed the birds didn’t have any toys, the nest boxes were worn down, and the cages really need new wooden perches.
Overall, we had a relaxing time, especially thanks to the upgrades from Delta Vacations. If you go in with the right expectations and use some of these tips, you’ll enjoy your stay. The resort has great potential, and with a few tweaks, it could be truly exceptional.

The flag service on the beach and by the main pool was great! The piano bar sing along was so entertaining! Great job! The extra inclusions here are fantastic, take advantage!
Get a couples massage! Absolutely amazing!
The activities were well organized. We enjoyed the wine tasting, martinis on the roof, special event nights on the beach and around the pool, the disco, headphone party, and many more.
A special thank you to Jean who cleaned our room (#3311) every day. Such a sweet, caring woman who took care of every detail perfectly!
Suzan from the coffee shop and the buffet was so kind and had a smile and hug for us every day! Thank you!
Bryan from the disco and rooftop bar who said “anything you want” every time we saw him; always kind and sincere! We loved our conversations with you!
Fantastic service from LaToya at the swim up bar. You made me smile every time I saw you! And you made such great drinks!!
My girl Whitley from the main pool bar and the piano bar, your personality says it all. So bubbly! You are the shot queen! Thank you for spending time with us!
And Tahjay… my friend from the main pool bar. Exceptional service! Tahjay went above and beyond for us! He looked after our needs and made us smile every day. We asked him to make a different drink for us every time he saw us and he did. So much fun! Very creative! Thank you Tahjay!
We loved interacting with our staff connections at Couples Tower Isle! ❤️
Your staff are so wonderful!!!
We will be back!!

This is the second time we have been to this Couples properties. We went in 2023 March and 2025 Mar. The price was real comparable over this two year period. Resort need a major refresh and has some issues. The level of service is noticeably different this time around. Which is completely understandable. They kept the cost the same and reduced the service. We probably won't be back to this location again. We will go to the sister properties. Santana at the island bar is absolutely the best! and off island Conrad is the man!

Our first time in Jamaica and a fantastic place to stay, staff were brilliant from start to finish.
We were in block 5 with a limited sea view, ok we weren’t at front but the bonus was the sunset and sun-on our side every night.
You have to get a sunbed early at the pools as the early rising towel reserve squad are in full force but there is always beds on the beach.
entertainment is varied but enjoyable, if you want to party into the small hours that is accommodated as well in the beach lounge
As mentioned the staff all round are brilliant, from the various bars ,reception to house keeping all say hello or a ‘yeh man’, special shout to Franklyn and Conrad at the pool bar.
Monday night is Lobster night so make sure you reserve Bayside for that
we weren’t disappointed hopefully you won’t
