We returned here after 15 years and were so excited how wrong we were.We were kindly upgraded however the level of room service/cleanliness hugely disappointed.I spoke to the lady on front desk and the cleaners and nothing improved and to be honest will make us never return.I have a dust allergy as I pointed out to front desk however a shrug of the shoulders it was dismissed photos attached as evidence.A beautiful resort but a new cleaning team is definitely required.Night service was missed twice and twice she did visit just replaced towels no turndown service,no curtains or blinds shut extremely lazy to say the least.No complimentary water as most hotels do.I just feel it’s gone very downhill compared to our previous visit.

There is plenty to explore around the grounds- no need to leave the property. The hotel also had plenty of activities planned out for the week for you to join in on the fun.

Absolutely beautiful location in the parish of Sandy's. Surrounded by water, crystal clear and calm. It was the beginning of the low season, so it was very quiet and tranquil. Absolutely beautiful location in the parish of Sandy's. Surrounded by water, crystal clear and calm. It was the beginning of the low season, so it was very quiet and tranquil. The accommodations were impeccable, and all the staff treated us with a big smile and warm professionalism. This was absolutely one of the best vacations. Two restaurants on site, of course Bermudian restaurants are expensive, but the food was very good. (Most people don't go to Bermuda for the food.) From our experience, the best island destination in the Atlantic/Caribbean.

I don’t always write reviews…in fact I tend only to write reviews of places that are really brilliant, really bad or something notable to report. This review fits into the latter category. We stayed here for 9 nights. The hotel is in a lovely location. Our room was very nice too - a mid-range room with a very private terrace and wonderful sea views. So far so good. Check-in all good. The ‘Sunken Harbour’ restaurant was very good too. Excellent food and service but very expensive. Expensive is ok IF it’s really special. It was…we ate there on 5 nights.😊 We had a ‘breakfast plan’ so everything and anything we wanted (almost without exception) was included. Restaurant was lovely, staff were excellent. It turns out that November is just out of season so there were no water sports available which was disappointing. The hotel was extremely quiet. Quiet can be great but when it’s this quiet it can dampen the overall vibe somewhat? However, there were some significant issues… Toilet problems in our room (this is a big deal?!) Reception staff varied from very good and helpful to…well the opposite. A variety of minor issues with the spa infrastructure, room (minor leaks, problems with curtains etc) I would expect better from a so-called luxury hotel. BUT, when I asked to discuss these issues with the hotel management they were VERY accommodating, apologetic and professional. I felt valued as a customer and they were kind enough to offer us dinner at their expense on our last night and a free late checkout on our last day. So, overall a very good experience. All luxury hotels can have days/staff that don’t quite cut the mustard sometimes. But if when approached (politely I think) they deal with the issues well - it’s a genuine plus.
