This hotel is absolutely gorgeous but what really makes it is the quality of the people they are so warm and make you feel like you are kings and queens. Edgar Sanchez at the front desk is an absolute star. What a wonderful and kind person and will always be there to address your needs. We found a pool to be the music to be amazing and the beach is fantastic and we can walk 4 miles and miles of white pristine Beach. We especially loved the dining in the evenings, which was so much variety and exceptional quality of the service and the food. The only improvement I would make is to have more option options for lunch since sometimes there are conventions so the lunch can get quite busy. Overall, it is a wonderful place. The gym is open 24 hours and it is a very good quality gym. There is plenty of space to walk in and around the resort and the golfers were very happy as well. Our favourite restaurants were Takeshi and the Italian restaurant for its view. There are multiple bars and places to have a wonderful conversation and the coffee shop is absolutely excellent. The spa staff are so warm and kind as well and the bath facilities are beautiful and the hydrotherapy was an excellent experience. This hotel is top-notch and without kids it is a super relaxing experience.

I never grow tired of coming back to Atelier Playa Mujeres. The ambience, food and drinks are always top notch. Service is impeccable, particularly from our butlers Cristal and Rodolfo. Always great to see their smiling faces with every visit.

The room and common areas are beautiful. But the resort is huge and a poorly laid out. Food was excellent. Been to over a dozen 5 star resorts and thus had the best food. We were in building 3 which is a LONG way from the beach and the main pool. There is a nice pool at building 3 but 80% is in shade the entire day. So if you are looking for sun you have walk long way to get to a sunny pool or beach. Also there a lot dead ends and very poor signage. You can only get out of building 3 from the 3 floor. Or you have to walk even further away from the beach to get out on the first floor. Crazy design. Even to get out from the third floor you have to go through the convention centre so you end up walking through someone’s wedding and corporate convention. Weird! Beach. - the part belonging to atelier is quite small but the actual Beach is very long and you can walk long distance in both directions. It was really rough every day we were here so not really swimmable. But could be just the time of year. It is quite windy. Food.- excellent. You can book restaurants up to 2 days in advance from Kiosks across the resort. The system works well and we were able to get the reservations we wanted with no problems. Would be nice to have access to them on the app bit the kiosks work well. The weird thing is that with no map available at all and poor signage across the resort, it’s hard to figure out where you want to go. Check-in. - ok. No proper orientation and no map available. Told to use the app. However the map doesn’t show you where the restaurants are. Only the bars. Again weird.

Just returned from our second trip to Atelier. Just as good, if not better then last year (and last year was perfect)! Room: We were in building 3 again, a little smaller and quieter, with a great buffet. We loved the room. The bed was really comfortable All the restaurants were great. I usually made the dinner reservations by 9am and was always able to book at the time we wanted. Breakfast: Our favourite was the La Consentida buffet in building 3. Ricardo, Alfonso and Gabriela were great. Lunch: We loved our lunches at Alba. Great salads. We also enjoyed Cilento, Bkiini Azul, Limon O Sol and Suspiro SO MANY great choices!. Dinner: All the dinners were wonderful but we had some favorites: - Mercado 19 - Mexican was fantastic - Takeshi - Asian, everything was a hit - Los Abrazos – great steaks, lamb chops and seafood - Cilento – Great pizzas and pasta - Cala Di Luna – LOVED IT - Azucar coffee shop – great coffee and light snacks and ice cream. Thank you Pedro! - Maria Delores – Our first time here. It’s an additional charge a la carte menu. The food and service warranted their Michelin star! Worth every penny! Thank you Carmelo. Bars: Griselle at Don Fernando makes the best classic marg (her secret recipe)! Rober at El Detalle took the time to teach us about tequila. The bartenders are true mixologists. My wife asked Ricardo at Bar de la Calle for a spicy marg. WOW was all she could say! Building 3 (the quieter) pool was our fave!: Great service from Enrique G. Miguel and Carlos R. The Staff: The staff at Atelier were the best I have ever come across. From housekeeping, restaurant and bar staff, the concierges and front desk staff, they are the main reason we are already planning our 3rd trip!

We just returned from a 5 night stay at Atelier and had a overall great trip! Pros: - Resort is extremely clean and well kept, we never felt like there was anything wrong in that regard. - Food was 10/10, truly amazing meals every single night and we honestly had no complaints and we are pretty hard critics for food at all inclusive resorts. - Spa was a wonderful experience, we did a 80 minute couples massage and it was super relaxing and they really make it an experience to remember. - Inspira beach area is nice, they have the cabana beds and we didn’t have issues getting a place to sit. The towel helpers are great as well and they also have some sunscreens you are able to use. - Beach/Pool is great, the main pool gets a bit busy but the 2nd pool is definitely more of a relaxing vibe. Inspira pool is wonderful as well. - We did the silent disco one night and it was super fun and many people showed up so I definitely recommend going to the night life options if you can! - Cocktails are really great here. The beach drinks are a bit weak as to be expected but the bars throughout the resort really deliver top notch strong cocktails so we really enjoyed trying out all the different bars. Cons: - My biggest complaint with this resort and is something that would hinder us from coming back is how they do restaurant reservations. When you arrive, you have to book your dinner reservations and they have 3 days out open at a time. With this being said, when you arrive, all restaurants for your first 3 nights are essentially fully booked and you are stuck eating at 5pm or 10pm if you are lucky. The butlers with Inspira could help a bit with getting these moved later but I don’t think you should need to pay $500+ extra a night to not have to eat at 5pm on vacation. Making reservations for the remaining nights is also stressful because you need to do so at midnight when they open up the next day or at 5am which is also not how I want to spend a vacation. It’s unnecessarily stressful and I’ve stayed at other all inclusives who don’t do reservations and it’s much better. The “fully booked” restaurants are also 60% empty too which is frustrating. - We decided to extend our stay 1 extra night and it was way more stressful than it needed to be. We had trouble having the resort staff help sort out a change in our airport transport and the app canceled our remaining two dinner reservations when the change was made. I realized this after 30 minutes and then the butler tried to tell me I must have canceled them myself and said now all restaurants are fully booked. Come to realize the restaurant had no issue keeping our original time, so it rubbed me the wrong way that the butler told me otherwise (obviously he didn’t speak with the restaurant as he claimed). You pay a lot to have butler service so I definitely would hope they’d go out of their way to make sure our stay isn’t stressful. - Food options at the beach are terrible if you don’t like seafood. All other all inclusives I have been to have more extensive beach food options that are more crowd favorites (burgers, nachos, sandwiches, etc) We had to leave the beach to eat lunch and we would have preferred being able to stay all afternoon so I wish they’d consider changing their menu options or allow you to order from the pool restaurant. All in all, this is a great resort and I’d definitely consider returning if they could work out their reservations for the restaurants. Dining is a big part of vacation and they fell short here. If that’s no issue for you, you’d love this place.

There was a waiter at Bikini Azul whom I thought was just the sweetest and funniest! The food for lunch here was great!! Tried the Italian for lunch and was blown away!!! Of course our Butlers Lazaro and Alberto need to be recognized…. These two go above and beyond to any request! When we go on vacation we do not feel like sitting there and making reservations or looking around for stuff. Those 2 are on the ball for everything! If you’ve never experienced a butler I suggest you do. The beds are super comfortable! One suggestion I would have would be to add some Mayan shows…10/10

We had a wonderful time at Atelier and would definitely go back. February was perfect, not terribly crowded, and weather was sunny and warm and very comfortable at night. Come here for top notch service but the real reason is the meals and drinks. Food was gourmet level and the craft cocktails tasted amazing and were fun to watch the preparation. Rodrigo is an artist! This resort also had a great selection of spirits, the best Mexico resort options for bourbon (IMO) if you are a bourbon lover. Our favorite dinner was Cala di Luna, get the flaming dessert! Don't miss the 80s concert, casino night, and silent disco Kudos to Luis our butler for excellent service. He was very attentive and responsive. Ernesto was a great bike tour guide and made the ride fun. Also the art tour was informative, don't skip! Carlos made sure we had everything we needed at the rooftop bar and pool, and thanks to all the staff and servers at the Inspira beach and pool. You need to be up at the crack of dawn to get a Bali bed or get on the wait list. If you book Inspira, highly recommend not to forget to take advantage of the water therapy Last, learning the layout and how to get around takes time and patience. You can get lost! Elevator maps help, but the resort should improve their directions. Convention center and backdoor in the theater make good short cuts. Cheers!

This was our first time at Atelier Playa Mujures but we are already looking forward to coming back! The grounds, pools, and beach areas are well maintained and the rooms are comfortable. The Inspira additions are excellent and the service has been amazing. A few stand-outs were our butlers, Domingo and Alejandro. They were friendly and helpful. Whether we needed spa reservations, dinner reservations, or personal errands they were always available to help! The food here is incredible! Every restaurant we tried was excellent and had a great selection, including vegan options for some in our party. Our experience at Maria Dolores was one we will always remember! The food was amazing and the atmosphere was great. Our waiter, Roman, walked us through every course and provided his recommendations as well. We never had an empty drink and he brought a special surprise for the newlyweds in our party! Overall, I highly recommend this resort and will be back!

We just enjoyed a week long stay at Atelier. It came highly recommended by our travel agent. We were in Building 1 (non-Inspira). The food at Atelier is the best we have EVER had in Mexico. The resort has a ton of restaurants that offer all types of food. There is Asian fusion, sushi, steak, seafood & healthy options, etc. Nice gym & spa too. They have a great coffee shop as well. We loved all of the restaurants. Service was good. Beautiful chic decor. We loved Alba that offers amazing yogurt parfaits & salads. Ana was super sweet & remembered our request from the day before. Moises from the Piccolo Bistro was wonderful. He recommended some great wines to accompany our delicious charcuterie board. One of the grille cooks at La Consentida, Carlos was awesome. My husband said he made the best eggs. Irvin at Bar de la Calle was the very BEST!!! He has mad mixology skills & was one of the main highlights of our trip. He can make anything & his creations are masterpieces of art. His presentation is beautiful. If you want gorgeous & delicious hand-crafted cocktails, he’s your guy! Bartenders, Max, Alberto, Rodrigo & Roman were all fabulous as well. These guys really are a great team. Mauricio & Ivette at Limon y Sal were awesome too. Bartender, Freddie at the lobby bar was really nice too. My husband got an espresso martini from him almost every night of our stay. This was hands down the best resort we’ve been to in Mexico. We just had a few very minor issues. The mosquitos & other biting insects were bad in my opinion, but mosquitos love me. I don’t know if they spray the grounds. But they do provide all natural bug spray. The check-in process took a little while. Our room was a lovely ocean view king suite, but I did not find the bed to be super comfortable. Aside from those minor things, it was nearly perfect. We will definitely be back! Thanks to all the wonderful staff that made our trip special.

We just returned from our 3rd trip to Atelier since the new year. Hands down this the best resort. From the time to step onto the property until you sadly have to leave you are treated like royalty. Our butlers Rodolfo and Cristal are at the heart of this feeling. They have taken to time to get to know us and our preferences. I love how they reach out before we arrive to check in and see if we need anything before our arrival. Each day they let us know the daily activities and make our dinner reservations. They both are a joy and truly love what they do. We spent most of our last visit at the sky pool. Hugo made the best drinks and Mariam and Hiroshima brought them to us. We enjoyed getting to know them along with the pool concierges Enrique, Rojas and Rafael. Most nights before our dinner we visited the piccolo bistro for wine and charcuterie boards. Moises was spot on with the wine selections he made for us. We enjoyed learning about the wines he had available. We enjoyed a night cap at the lobby bar with Freddie serving us great chocolate martinis. We loved all of the restaurants but our favorites were breakfast at Mercado 19, lunch at Cilento and dinner at Maria Delores. The wait staff at these places were outstanding. Our mornings we were greeted by David,Luis, Donovan, Sergio and others. They were quick, very attentive and always had a smile to share. Maria Delores’s not to be missed. Mario the bartender served some very unique drinks to complement our meal. Christian along with Iris, Ivan, Carmelo, Roman and Rafael(?) work so well together to bring the most amazing dinner experience. Atelier will always feel like my home away from home. Thanks to all the amazing people who make it feel this way.

Warning, long review ahead! My wife and I enjoy going on tropical vacations, so this year being no exception, we chose Atelier based on the extremely good reviews here, and on youtube. My initial research said that for the most part, it is a quiet resort, especially without a lot of evening entertainment. Unfortunately, this wasn't entirely the case for us. We arrived at the resort after a long travel day, and were asked to wait to check in. I'm actually not sure what we were waiting for, as both of the two check in desks were empty. Most resorts of this calibre usually offer you a welcome drink right when you walk in the door, and we were surprised to not be given anything, so my wife wandered over to the bar herself. (Interestingly enough, I observed later in the week, others getting that drink at the door, so may have just been the timing of our arrival) After a short wait, we were escorted over to the check in desk, where there we were offered a drink, and check in was very fast and efficient - we were given our bracelets that double as the key to your room. Gotta say that's a much better system than card keys. Here's where things went a bit downhill. We then were passed along to a 'concierge', who kinda explained where things were, but she was hard to follow. Then she mentioned having us go to a breakfast in a day or two, and this was the start of effectively a time share pitch without her saying so. We were just tired and wanted to relax, and told her so, at which point she just kept talking. Eventually she got the hint after several attempts to tell her we just wanted to go to our room, and we were escorted to the room. (I'll get to this concierge person again in a bit). Our room was on the top floor of the 2nd building (didn't ask prior to arrival on any specific location) The room itself was clean, decent in size, and had a good variety of snacks, in the form of kit kats, m&ms, peanuts, and granola bars. The mini bar had water, fresca, coke/coke light, soda water, orange juice, cranberry juice, and a few different kinds of beer. So pretty decent overall, though no chips, so my wife was a little disappointed there. The bathroom was spacious, but smelled a bit of mangrove (very slight, nothing we couldn't live with). Over the course of our stay however, we had issues with the toilet, and had to get maintenance in to fix it. Ours was an ocean view, and we could see it in the distance beyond the golf course. Nice, but very far away from the water. What we didn't like about the room - paper thin walls, and absolutely no sound proofing. We must have come at the wrong week or this is normal, but every night there was someone yelling that we could clearly hear through our room. What we discovered was that this isn't such a quiet resort, but one where quite a few groups of younger people seem to want to whoop it up. We are usually visitors to Secrets or Excellence, and both are generally quieter than Atelier, and seem to have more of the crowd/ambiance that we look for. One day we were woken up to extremely loud music. Surprisingly, it was actually the resort music, blasting through the halls, not someone with a portable speaker. It took a few hours for them to turn it down again. I tried using the e-concierge at the time to send a message - never did get a response, but at least the music did get turned off. The other thing we noticed was that it's actually a big resort for being more 'boutique', and it takes a bit to get from the room to the beach. My wife loves shortcuts to things, and there really aren't any here. With it being a big resort, usually the walking paths have flowers, decor, and the like, but here it was very modern, no flowers, and much of the time to us it felt like we were walking through a penitentiary as it was always dark/dim, and with the scheme being a lot of rock and grey, lot of angular details, the space did not feel warm at all. The outdoors walking paths were nice, but again, only green foliage, no flowers or colour other than the same plants everywhere. Also note that there are only a few entrances and exits to the buildings, so if you aren't sure where you're going, it may take you a long time to get back to an entryway to figure out where you are. The pool area was nice, and most of the days were not super busy - we could find a seat any time before 10 AM quite easily. It wasn't until the last day that there was a very large group that took over much of the pool (and also had music playing that contrasted with the music playing on the resort speakers) where it was more of a challenge to find a seat. The beach was similar, in that we had an easy time of finding somewhere to stay, including the bali beds. Other reviews are correct, unless you get up very early, you will also not get an ocean view from the beach chairs/bali beds, as there are hedges in the way but they do block a lot of the wind. I did enjoy that I could order from a couple of the beachside restaurants for lunch without leaving my chair, as well. The beach itself is fine grain white sand, so much nicer than some resorts we've been to. Seaweed was minimal, but they had a dozer out every morning moving most of it away. Arnold and Andrea of the activity team were great in the pool, doing all the aqua exercises each day, so a big thank you to them. We also stayed at the 'quiet' pool a couple days, and it was no quieter there than the main pool. One of those days, a group of people brought their own personal speaker, which was not my cup of tea. Many resorts crack down on that, but they were not told to turn it off at all. So there really isn't a quiet pool to speak of, in our minds - that would have been nice to have. The pools themselves seem big, but when occupied during the day, they feel small due to the number of people. My wife commented that she felt like she was in a Vegas pool more than a tropical vacation pool. On the second day, we got harassed by that same concierge lady we met after check in. She called, and when she spotted us walking by the lobby, she left other people she was talking to, to try to get us to sign up for that breakfast. She called several times after as well, and we were annoyed by the pestering - she wouldn't take no for an answer. I understand that's her job, but isn't one no enough? For the restaurants, we visited all but Kopai (the sushi-focused one). Overall, food was good, but nothing that made me say wow. This surprised me a little bit, as this resorts was supposed to be well above many other resorts from what I had read. Service at the restaurants was mostly good, and generally faster to the table than Excellence. Portions are also larger than many other resorts we've been. Mercado 19 has great tacos, and the condiment tray is something to behold. Never seen a tray quite that long before full of sauces. The pozoles were also quite good. Los Abrazos was decent, but the t-bone and the rib eye are cut quite thin - I'd recommend the filet or the NY strip instead. I also liked the salad bar, and if you like cheese, get the provoleta. Cilento for italian was ok, but nothing to write home about. Takeshi was a let down (I don't know why we bother trying the asian restaurants at tropical resorts any more to be honest) as everything was just meh or too sweet. Lots of people like this restaurant though so YMMV. El Suspiro was good, and we both enjoyed the surf and turf. Unfortunately, little mosquitos also enjoyed a meal of us, despite the mosquito spray that is placed on each table. I thought the gem of the resort was the Mediterranean restaurant, Cala di Luna. Easily the best meal and the best service there, where we shared the paella, a shawarma that was torched tableside, and the only dessert worth eating at the resort (besides just ice cream), the strawberries jubilee, also flambeed tableside. The cafes had ice cream, which were fantastic, esp after the disappointing desserts. The reason we found them disappointing was all of them seemed to be made out of some weird mousse-marshmallow textured something, just with bits of chocolate, or fruit, etc. And this wasn't limited to one dessert or one restaurant, this was all of them. The croissants at the cafes were also better than the ones at the buffet breakfasts/lunches, and nicer looking. Note that if you want to try the chocolates at the cafe but don't know which one to get, I tried 8 of them, and they all had the exact same flavour, sadly. Very pretty chocolates though! Other things to note - the juice bar is underrated. They'll blend anything into juice for you, and it is super tasty. The breakfast at the buffets were ok - nothing special, and for a large area, there wasn't a lot of variety, oddly enough. The lunch buffet at Consentida was ok, with a pasta bar and a grill bar, but again, variety seemed somehow lacking. As mentioned previously, it was nice to have lunches brought to your chair if you so wished, or you could go to either snack bar or Suspiro for the lunch. My favourite was Suspiro for the ceviche and the shrimp tacos. Sadly the coconut shrimp sauce was again, far too sweet. For those worried about reservations, I'd say it depends on the number of people you go with. The first night you're stuck with either the buffet or the Mexican restaurant (I'd recommend the Mexican over the buffet), and after that it's based on the reservation system. What we discovered is that we could go to any of the restaurants early (5:30-6 PM dinners) and get in without issue, or just ask them to book us the following day. I didn't like that we could only book one restaurant for the day, though. What if you wanted to do something like a progressive dinner going to multiple places? In terms of drinks, I don't, so I stuck with non-alcoholic mocktails, and all of them again are far too sweet, and the sugar is some odd synthetic almost sucralose-type flavour to it. I didn't enjoy that much so I switched quite quickly to just drinking soda water instead, or asking for the mocktail with no syrup. My wife enjoyed her sparkling wines, but commented that many other drinks she had weren't as good as she hoped as well. Unfortunately for us, my wife also got sick the second night, so for the next two nights after that, did not enjoy her stay in the bathroom. We're not entirely sure what caused it, but we think it was the room service food we had one night. Ordered a couple of salads, a rib eye steak, and a cheesecake, that we shared. I didn't get sick, but I'm also known to have an iron gut, so there is that. I really wanted to like this resort, but between the extremely long (and dreary if you walk through the buildings), the pushy sales, lack of flora or colour, and major lack of sound proofing or quiet pool areas, I cannot rate this higher than a 3.5/5. Of course, if you enjoy a more active environment, this place might be for you. Note: we didn't have an Inspira-level room, so I don't know what that would have gotten us besides access to the rooftop pool, which was relatively small and quite far away from the ocean.

After this trip we are more confident than ever that this is our forever Mexico home! This is THE BEST resort in Mexico! The best part is the amazing staff. It truly felt like coming home to our friends. Domingo and Alejandro are the most incredible butler team. I’ve had “butlers” at other resorts and the service here does not compare. They sincerely love to help their guests have the best time. Every interaction I had with a staff member was incredible but our friends at the Inspira pools made us feel so special. Pablo, Marco, Rojas, Yvonne & Sandra all took great care of us. Our favorite lunch spot was Limon y Sal with Mauricio, Ximena & Braulio. Get the Bao Tacos. All the restaurants are amazing this trip our favorites were the Italian and Asian! Ask for the Parmesan Pasta at the Italian, it’s made tableside. We went to the spa TWICE! The facilities are truly world class. Ask for Fernando or Ada. You truly cannot go wrong at this resort ❤️

I had a disappointing experience at Atelier Resort during what was supposed to be a special celebration for mine and my husband’s 5-year anniversary. Unfortunately, not only did the resort fail to acknowledge our milestone, but they didn’t even make an effort to make us feel special or recognized in any way. To make matters worse, when I approached the customer service agent (Javier Ramos) about it, their response was cold and dismissive. They simply said, “Have a good night,” without offering any solution or showing any care about our situation. It was frustrating and disheartening, especially for an occasion we had hoped would be memorable. I expected much better service and attention to detail from a place like this. This experience certainly did not meet our expectations.

Such an awesome resort. The staff was fantastic. Like to do special shout outs to people who went above and beyond. Butler’s Rodolfo and Christal were top notch . Carlos and Donovan in the buffet. Damian at check in. Food was fantastic. See you soon

My wife and I love this resort. We became members last year during our first trip and couldn't wait to come back. Our butlers were Domingo & Alejandro and they are the absolutely the best. We had them last year and then requested them again this time. Because we are members we got a club concierge to assist us as well, Marisol. She was very helpful and so sweet. She encouraged us to attend the members BBQ and we are so glad we did. We met some wonderful friends there that we hung out with during the trip. We went to the Nuup spa twice and the massages were glorious each time. Ada and Fernando were so great the first visit that we asked for them again. The restaurants were even better this year somehow. We had wonderful meals at Takeshi, Bikini Azule (we had lunch), Limon y Sal (Bao tacos were the best!!), and so many others. We also got to enjoy Maria Dolores, the Michelin restaurant, and it was definitely an amazing experience of a dinner. Check out the picture from our shower in the master suite ocean front room. It was such a large room and had amazing views, see the first picture from inside the doors to the balcony.

My wife and I spent 10 nights at The Atelier in Playa Mujeres as part of our trip to Mexico. We chose the Atelier as our last stop for some R&R. The Atelier in Playa Mujeres is a wonderful resort. The facilities are very well maintained, cleaned and presented. The staff are remarkably well trained, polite and responsive. They work hard and go to great lengths to remember names and appear to be very happy to be working at the resort, which makes spending time here an absolute pleasure. A special thanks is due to the wonderful egg preparation lady; Gabriela, the very best bar man Roberto and the pool guys who work so hard. The restaurants are all very good, more often than not the food is excellent, the service is always very good. The reservation system works well, some restaurants do require booking early on the day they release them to secure a good time slot. It is always possible to book two days in advance. They make an effort for veggies, each restaurant has a separate veggie menu and will always adjust where possible, Jane ate well. The public spaces are plentiful and the resort , with the exception of the main pool areas, never seemed crowded. The bars are very well stocked with branded merchandise, the service is always prompt and friendly. The coffee shops provide good quality drinks and delicious nibbles. At times the A/C was set too low for us, it was cold (for us) in the bars and restaurants at times! The rooms are very well appointed, the only negative for us is that they were unable to provide a kettle for our morning tea. To be fair the coffee machine provided relatively hot water. If there are any issues, once brought to the staff’s attention they are recognised and dealt with promptly, for example: • Our fridge door did not seal shut, they replaced it within a few hours on our first day. • We do not drink chardonnay (the bottle provided on our first day), once advised they replaced with sauvignon blanc, Overall we had the most wonderful time and cannot recommend highly enough.

The food was amazing I wish we had more time to try all of the restaurants. Maria Dolores is a must! Also don’t miss out of the taco stands and in room dining we were so impressed! A trip and honeymoon of a lifetime. Unbelievable, top-notch service and hospitality from the moment you step into to the lobby to the moment you leave. From the food, beverages, service, and everything in between, this place did not miss a beat. Alberto and Lazaro were incredible butlers, they were always willing to assist with any and all requests. The truly went above-and-beyond and Atelier is lucky to have them. Fernando and Ingrid in the Nuup Spa were astounding in their customer service and as professionals. The massage and facial my husband and I received were beyond our imagination. Our time spent in the spa was so peaceful and relaxing. Arnold was a lovely, friendly, and funny tour guide for the bicycle experience. He made the it even more enjoyable than it already was. Jorge, a bartender at El Detalle, was as memorable as his cocktails. Great bartender, great drinks. Envol, Marco, Helmer, and Rojas; servers and pool servicemen, at the Inspira Ocean Front pool were beyond what I would have expected. Always checking in on us, bringing us refills of drinks even if we hadn’t asked for one yet, and greeting us by name the following day. We continued to visit this pool because of its peacefulness and the service provided. If you are thinking about staying here, please use this review as your sign to book the trip. You will not regret it.

Atelier was excellent, fantastic spa, wonderful food and drinks. We loved the pool! All staff are friendly and helpful! Victor and Aline were very helpful butlers. We will definitely be back and recommend this resort to anyonewho wants a relaxing time.

I just got back yesterday after 4 nights. had high hopes for my stay at Atelier Playa Mujeres, as this has been one of my favorite hotels in the past, offering great amenities and service. However, my recent stay was marred by a lack of attention to a very important occasion – my five-year anniversary with my girlfriend. Before and during the trip, I made it clear to the staff, including the concierge, that we were celebrating our anniversary. Multiple times, they asked if we were celebrating anything special, and I provided the information each time. I was excited to see how they might make this celebration memorable, especially given the attention to detail the hotel is known for. However, when I called the night before check-out to inquire about any special arrangements or gestures to commemorate the occasion, I was told there was nothing they could do. I was left feeling brushed off, as the response was simply "have a good night," with no follow-up or apology for not acknowledging the anniversary in any meaningful way. This was particularly upsetting, as I had been reassured earlier in the stay that the celebration would be something special. It’s disheartening to feel let down by a hotel that I’ve always loved, especially when they made promises to make our anniversary special but ultimately failed to deliver. Not only was there no acknowledgment or surprise for our celebration, but when I checked out, there was no offer of a solution or an apology. While the hotel has much to offer in terms of amenities and atmosphere, the lack of follow-through and respect for an important occasion left me feeling disappointed and unappreciated. I truly hope they can improve in this area, as it has been a major part of what has made Atelier Playa Mujeres stand out in the past.
