Las Ventanas al Paraiso, A Rosewood Resort

Imagine going to a resort and they seem to know what you want before you even ask. The staff are all amazing. When arriving a small band plays with a welcome drink. Off to the large room with beautiful ocean views. Little treats left every day. The restaurants were all excellent with amazing service. Breakfasts were great with many choices. Sitting by the pool someone was always running over to see if we needed anything. The pool water is nice and warm, and there is another area with a lazy river and a restaurant. The kids club had activities every day- including a sand castle event with the staff helping out bringing water. On Christmas Day a Santa parachuted out of the sky to the beach. They do everything to make your stay amazing and the staff all seem happy. Leaving the resort we gave a time and the bell staff were waiting for us by the door. I can't imagine anyone leaving a negative review of this resort- not possible.

Where do I start.. Everything was absolutely amazing, check in was easy everything is already done. Service is incredible they have pastries waiting in the room they do not let you move an umbrella they let you absolutely enjoy yourself to its fullest. The staff is funny super kind and they do not make you feel uncomfortable on wanting to upsell on drinks. Everything has also felt completely safe in and out as they quote “we are the best this is las ventanas”

First, let me say that overall, this is still an over the top experience in Cabo. Good: - Food in all restaurants is outstanding and if you ask the chef at the Italian venue to prepare a surprise meal - you will be overwhelmed with delight. - There are some super stars to recognize; Daniel and Manuel (breakfast), Jesus (adult pool), Hector the bar tender Alebrije, The courtyard entertainment (twin brothers), Sebastian the Managing Director who took some time to sit with us. - Adult pool for a relaxing vacation free of children. - The property is gorgeous and well maintained. There’s no reason yo venture out. Minor needs improvement: - Our spa experience was just ok and then the mosquitos made it unbearable. We ended up canceling our second appointment. For the price, I wanted to be overwhelmed but it fell short. - Our room butlers were ok. On previous visits they were more assertive to make the experience one in a lifetime. - The new beach bar is stunning. Design is great. Service and quality feel a bit short for us - although to be fair, it was only their first night open for the season. If you are thinking of LVP - go! It’s wonderful and you won’t regret it! We are return guests and we are generally spoiled by the staff who remember us. Any small improvements are negligible in the scheme of things. Thank you to the entire staff for another wonderful experience.

Our stay at Ventanas exceeded all expectations. We only came for a weekend to celebrate a birthday. The butlers who hosted us this time are Alexa and Aaron. They are so welcoming, attentive, and fast to respond. Any questions or requests were answered and fulfilled. The staff helped set up a private beach dinner that made the evening unforgettable. All the attention to detail in the sand, candle placement, and willingness to surprise my boyfriend never went unnoticed. Our servers by the adult pool also made us feel at home. I literally watched someone run towards us to make sure we didn’t so much as lift a cushion to recline in the chairs. Marcelino and Ivan made us feel like family. Thank you to everyone who made this trip so special. We will always come back.

JUST BOOK THE TRIP! i read all the reviews and looked at all the pictures and thought ya this looks like a super nice hotel, but nothing over the top. But you don't truly enjoy and understand until you are actually there. The best way to describe this hotel is truly. "A window of paradise" the name of the hotel in English. I have never seen such amazing customer service. The food was delicious, the drinks were perfect, Arbol is a must. Don't forget to check out one of the hidden pools that has a lazy river. I have stayed in many fancy hotels, including Chileno Bay in Cabo, and Las Ventanas is truly special-it is so hard to describe. Its the bellman waiting by your door to grab your bags when checking out (without calling and asking for a bellman), its the amazing turn down service that wraps up all your cords and notices your book doesn't have a bookmark so they supply you with one, its the servers that go around the pool offering to clean your sunglasses, its the 6 staff members waiving goodbye as you leave the resort to go home, its the half opened straw in the servers hand ready to hand to you with every single drink, its the fresh ice waters constantly refreshed at the pool, with the chilled Evian facial spray. Its all these little things you don't know until you stay here. My favorite hotel I have ever been to.

I honestly don't know where to begin. From the moment we stepped off the plane to meet the man taking us to the resort, we were in the lap of luxury. Our drivers were so kind and fun to talk to, which of course made the first 10 minutes of our long weekend perfect. But then, you get to the resort. You're offered a sipping margarita. There's musicians playing guitars. There are people welcoming you from left to right. You literally feel like you're HOME. Of course, the views are unmatched. Unbelievable. Spectacular. And it's only amplified more by the resort itself. We got to our suite...jaws straight to the floor. Not only was there a welcome amenity, but our INITIALS were sewed into the pillows! We had a private hot tub! We had a staircase leading to a rooftop 'hang out' with comfy lounge chairs. It was perfection. There's a crew that comes at night for turndown service and you can choose a scent for your pillows. I've got to mention the food because when you're at Las Ventanas, you are going to eat, and you're going to eat GOOD. Each restaurant (there are five) had its own specialties and all of them were exquisite. I'm a sucker for Italian food so Alebrije was my favorite, but I was enamored by it all. We also did the Tequila Sign, a tasting experience, and that was fun and educational! Now. Views, great. Food, amazing. But the people? THE PEOPLE are what make this resort as incredible as it is. Not only was every single person we encountered so nice, and so helpful... it was like they knew what we wanted or needed before we needed it! Umbrellas? Got you. Drinks? On their way. A sewing kit? In the room already and MATCHING YOUR CLOTHES. The kindness we received was unlike any other place we've been. I physically cried when we left because I didn't want to go.

I recently stayed at las Ventanas al Paraiso for mine and a friend’s birthday celebrations. I had stayed at other beautiful properties in Cabo…Montage, Pedregal, and Esperanza…so the bar was already set high. We booked a car service through Las Ventanas. The driver was waiting for us at the airport on time and had a nice cold Coronita waiting for us in the car. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by the front desk with a welcome drink and birthday cake. Such a nice welcome. We arrived early so had some time to grab lunch at the beautiful Grill by the pool. We were able to check in shortly after and were pleasantly surprised surprised with an Ocean view suite upgrade…plus a bottle of tequila, another birthday cake, and balloons. Our stay was for 3 nights/4 days. We had no reason to leave the property. The food was amazing, especially the breakfast. There was so much to choose from. There were fireworks 2 out of 3 nights. The Speakeasy is a must see. So fun and they have the best cocktails. What really made the stay special was all of the people. The staff was so attentive, caring, and friendly. They were always one step ahead. We never had to ask for anything because we’re all over it. We loved our stay so much we’re making it a birthday tradition. Thank you to everyone at Las Ventanas for making our stay so memorable.

We had the most wonderful time at Las Ventanas this past weekend—truly magical! We brought our adult children, and everything we experienced was outstanding. Javier, my friend, I missed our daily texts the moment I got home! You were the heart of our stay. As our concierge, you were one of the most genuine, intelligent, and professional individuals I’ve ever met. Victor, the chef—what a talent! Not only was he an incredible culinary artist, but also a true pleasure to be around. One highlight of our trip was the private dinner in La Cava, where Chef Victor Palma personally designed and prepared an unforgettable meal. The presentation, flavor, and service were Michelin Star-worthy. Every server that night was flawless—attentive, gracious, and truly elevated the entire experience. A special mention to Armando, who served us at La Cava and again the next evening at Alebrije. He was witty, warm, professional, and entertaining—an absolute delight. The thoughtful touches throughout our stay went far beyond anything we could have imagined. One evening’s dessert was a work of art: a black-and-white drawing on a white chocolate canvas, presented on a miniature easel, with an edible “palette” cake and a chocolate “paintbrush.” We each painted our own masterpiece before enjoying the delicious treat. What an incredibly creative and joyful experience—bravo to the brilliant pastry chef! We must have ordered well all weekend, because every meal—breakfast, lunch, and dinner—was exceptional. My husband affectionately referred to the Tequila & Ceviche Bar as his “office,” since that’s where we could find him every afternoon! Huge thanks to the hardworking and talented Housekeeping team. Your attention to detail was impeccable. Our rooms were beautiful upon arrival and remained just as pristine each day we returned. To the landscape artists and groundskeepers—your work took our breath away. The beauty you create inspired us daily and reminded us to pause and be grateful. And to the pool attendants—thank you for your tireless effort. We know those umbrellas aren’t light! Your help in keeping us shaded and comfortable was so appreciated. We had many things to celebrate during our visit, and thanks to all of you, the entire stay felt like magic. From the bottom of our hearts—thank you.

Stayed here for 4 nights with my wife and 6 year old daughter for July 4th vacation. We have stayed in Rosewood before in Bahamas and had high expectations for this one as well. It exceeded expectations! Everything is here is truly 5 start - the staff are exceptionally trained to be attentive in all areas from butler, wait staff, reception, bell hop, pool staff etc. Our ocean view suite was tremendous. Super comfortable, modern, loved the balcony and private hot tub with a view. The food - so good! breakfast was A+ every morning. The setting at Adobe is gorgeous. the pools - amazing. Our daughter had the best time at the lazy river while we had a great experience with swim up bar and poolside service. they had special fireworks on the beach which was cool. Truly a memorable stay and we would love to come back.

It was our first time staying at Las Ventanas and we were very impressed. The resort and rooms are beautiful. They have 8 pools and a variety of restaurants. The staff is very friendly and attentive. They go above and beyond. Huge shoutout to Enrique, Antonio, Hugo, and Luis who made sure our stay was extra special. We really enjoyed our stay at Las Ventanas and we cannot wait to return!

Most relaxed I have ever felt in my life. I have traveled the entire world, this is the most tranquil and sanguine place I have ever been, 4 times. Paradise on earth. Everything, the sounds, the smells. the food, nothing has ever matched the excellence and serenity of Las Ventanas in Cabo. Yes you can pay 2X or 3X as much and match the experience in some places in the Maldives, I agree, but the relative 'value' (I know its sort of silly to speak of value here but if you know you know) that you get at Las Ventanas, at least as an American, and especially as an American who lives on the west coast, can not be matched.

We recently visited Las Ventanas for spring break with our young children, and nearly everything about our stay was perfect. We stayed in a garden view residence, and despite mixed reviews about the residences, ours was great: spacious, well-appointed, full of light, and even had a great view of the ocean despite being classified as "garden view". All of the staff were super friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed using all of the different pools. The kid's club was fantastic for our little ones. Our one complaint was the cost of food and beverages at the resort restaurants. Apparently it's a Rosewood thing, but it felt a bit absurd to pay $50 for fish tacos or a salad at lunch! Thankfully all of our (pricey) meals were very, very good!

I am so grateful I did not change my reservation after reading some of the negative reviews of this hotel. My husband I travel the world for business and for pleasure and this was one of the best hotel experiences we have had. Food, spa, service, suite, …. All perfect. The entire staff makes you feel special and goes out of their way, literally, to make sure you have what you need and to get where you’re going. The spa experience was to die for. Lionel was one of the best massages I’ve had. Ever. I went twice and almost had to ask for a cart to take me back to my room I was so relaxed. The cold plunge, sauna and jacuzzi are also great. The pools are beautiful and service there is attentive too. Lunches at the tequila/raw bar were the best. The food is fresh and delicious. The bartenders are knowledgeable and always educating you on what you’re drinking and tailor drinks to your likes. Finally, and mostly because I could just keep writing, our garden suite was mostly somehow a stunning room that had a view of the ocean too. I appreciated they put my favorite milk choice in the fridge for my morning coffee and made sure we had extra of everything we liked. I don’t even like beach vacations and all I want to do is return. Thank you to the team there from us both!

Paulina the hotels concierge extraordinaire made this 50th birthday trip truly out of this world. We all felt like royalty with her making the impossible possible at every turn! One of their restaurant chef’s even cooked our freshly caught fish from the fishing trip in 3 different ways that made us all speechless. The speakeasy was so much fun every night with outstanding performances & live music. You are waited on everywhere you go from breakfast on your patio to the gym to the spa to the pool & the beach where they even wrote our names in the sand with designs! As a travel agency owner & concierge myself of over 20 years I highly recommend this hotel & to request Paulina if you want a vacation that exceeds all expectations.
