Very secluded and relaxed beach resort. In response to other reviews I agree the beach chairs are not good but cabanas are excellent and comfortable and also right on the beach. Drinks are a bit expensive at $12 each but tasty. Yes restaurant menu is limited but everything we had was very good. Pool are relaxing with plenty of chairs and great beach bar. Yes there are ants but obviously they spray for them because most were dead by the time we saw them so what else can you expect? We have had a very nice time here. Only thing I would advise is bring your own shampoo and conditioner as toiletries are not what I expected at a Wyndham. Also small complaint about the room safe. You have to request a key, which is not told to you at check in, key is pretty universal which was concerning and you pretty much have to sit on the floor to get into the safe. Difficult for elderly! Also WiFi very spotty and I consistent. Overall would recommend for relaxing beach vacation

My husband and I stayed at the Wyndham during a recent trip to Tortola and had a wonderful stay. Our room was steps from the beautiful beach. We loved the shaded cabanas on the beach and the long stretch of sand. The large pool is also great and also offers shaded areas for lounging. The rooms are updated and clean. But we have to give a HUGE shout out to the restaurant and most notably Thomas the manager and his adorable fiancée Dora. We ate every meal at the restaurant and were very impressed with how good the food was. And Thomas always made sure we were happy and treated well. Highly recommend this resort & can’t wait to come back!

Spent Christmas week there with my wife. Our first time on Tortola. The staff were amazing and truly friendly and helpful. We happened to be there when the owners were there. We were not fans of the parents, (the kids were quiet and friendly though) as they were snobbish and portrayed themselves as better than everyone else. The large swimming pool was really nice, but there is not swim up to bar here as I have seen in other reviews. (It is the largest pool in the British Virgin Islands.) This is a very quiet place on the island, away from the crowds, which we enjoyed. The menu was great in regard to variety ($$). Water was $6-8 a glass as it is served from a glass bottle and you're on an island. Plenty of water bottles placed in the rooms each day. Our fridge barely worked, barely enough to keep a chocolate bar cool. We did have the beautiful beach nearly to ourselves at times, even doing a bit of snorkeling. Be careful of the waves and rip currents. Someone staying there was rescued on the day we arrived, (not sure if he lived or died though). Great weather here during our visit.

We were a bit sceptical first but when arrived everything was great. We went to four islands before we ended up here and all hotels were not great so we didn’t have too much hope for this one but thankfully the opposite was the case. Staff was so friendly but not fake friendly as we are used to from other islands. Beach was almost empty, food is absolutely ok, pool area not crowed and in general it was a very nice atmosphere. Can really recommend it. As well they have little snack machines ( need cash for it ) so even if you don’t have car and what to stay at the hotel you can get little snacks and drinks. All was clean as well. Very short, but very nice stay!

We ate breakfast a few mornings and dinner a few evenings at the onsite restaurant which had great food and wonderful service. We had a car so we could eat out and sight see. The resort is secluded. The room was clean and simple.

Lambert Beach is arguably the best beach in BVI and among the top 3 in the Caribbean (alongside Anse Canot in Marie-Galante, Guadeloupe and Colombier on St. Bart). Never crowded in our 4-day stay, plenty of beach chairs and lots of shade available. Our room was fine, if a bit dated, and the bar-restaurant was also fine though like everywhere else in the Caribbean service could at times be erratic. Wyndham staff were all cheerful and helpful. There was construction going on during the day which detracted from the poolside experience, but why would you ever use the pool when Lambert Beach is right there at your doorstep? We will definitely return.

We had a great stay at the Wyndham. The rooms were pleasant and the restaurant was very good. It is very secluded and a fair distance to other areas. They have a large sign posted about the beach warnings. We waded but did not swim in the ocean here. The beds were nice, the rooms cool and clean. We met several people staying here as a pre or post trip on a boat.
