You can walk to Stoutts. The restaurant at Heritage Inn is very nice. Again, great service
and just steps from your room.
Suggest bringing breakfast food for your room and enjoy the morning coffee on your balcony.
Evening on the balcony is all the better.

We stayed at Heritage Inn for a night after a recent sailing trip in the BVIs. What a treat! We were pretty exhausted and needed a great room for the night… we got it! We arrived early, and were greeted by Tia, a true gem! Our room was reacts so she helped us in.
The room was nice, not big, but had everything we needed! The A/C in the bedroom worked well. Tia set us up with a few items at the pool so we could relax all afternoon. She made our stay such a delight… thank you ma’am! The inn has amazing views as well! We would definitely good back! (the restaurant is awesome too).

Tia accommodated our late check in and provided us with some much needed snacks and water as our flights were very delayed. The property is small and the restaurant wasn't open for breakfast or lunch which was disappointing. We were looking forward to the food after reading so many of the positive reviews. Seems the chef was out? The room itself was small but more than adequate place to lay your head before departing on a sailing adventure as we did.

View place to fill your mind on a cold winter's night
Greatest view just about anywhere. Great service friendly staff. The only hold back from a 5 is the distance from the beaches. The Bananakeet restaurant is too good. A highly recommended dining experience . Was good value for the price. Triadviser needs a few words to get past thier 200 minimum

Stayed for 4 nights. Customer service was polite and accommodating. Got a room service after two nights which was very nice.
Apartment was very clean, and as showed on the pictures, the view out of the room is actually even more picturesque (and photogenic) than showed. Yes, one can tell some of the equipment in the apartment is used for some time; however, everything was functional without any problems. The kitchen contained all the basics one needed for some light cooking.
The office closes at 3pm so to arrange a check-in I would suggest calling a couple days in advance especially if arriving on the weekend or late in the afternoon. I didn't know that and had a little hard time getting ahold of someone to give us the keys when we arrived in the late afternoon on Sunday.
The location is good as well, the must-see beaches are about 15min drive, the same for grocery stores, and restaurants. Oh, almost forgot about the restaurant that is adjacent to the inn - the food is delicious although little pricey.
Overall, I would recommend staying if travelling on budget.

The folks at The Heritage Inn went above and beyond to make sure we were doing well. We had never been to Tortola and as this was the slow season, we were the only ones at the hotel for the week. Notes regarding hotel & room: clean, large 2 bdrm, incredible views from the balcony, comfy beds, bedding, and pillows, not walkable to beaches, rent a car or be ready to hire a taxi, decent wifi, Netflix only, water pressure not great, bring groceries, and/or visit their restaurant (open air on site), very nice pool, professional friendly staff.
Speaking of the staff, I can't say enough good about them. Fortunately, we were able to meet the owner Desiree in St Thomas and were in touch with her off and on throughout our stay; while at the hotel, Spice, Tia, and Shenique were all lifesavers regarding our questions and requests when needed. We were a tad lost as this was all new and different for us in so many ways. We had waited over 6 years to get a vacation like this and were celebrating our 40th anniversary which was in August. Spice lives on the premises and we were comfortable knowing he was there if we needed him. They all worked tirelessly getting ready to re-open the restaurant and preparing for their busy season.
Our favorite beach and snorkeling area was Cane Garden Bay, not too far from the hotel. The water was gorgeous and my husband ended up getting out a bit further in the bay and was able to see Sea Turtles feeding in parts of a sunken half of a barge or boat of some sort. We brought our own snorkeling gear to the island.
We will not forget this trip and wish The Heritage Inn all the best in the future!

We have stayed in the Heritage Villas many times in the past 10 years. Staff is very helpful and the Banankeet restaurant is one of our favorites on the island. Spectacular sunsets every night! Not 5star but a full kitchen in each unit and a great balcony.beds are very comfortable as well! Not on a beach but we like to drive to different beaches each day so that works for us. Price is very good compared to other options on the island and all hurricane damage is resolved. Will definitely be back!

A place where you go to rest and enjoy the beautiful view. Our room was very comfortable and we had a peaceful stay even though a storm came through, thankfully it wasn’t as strong and always had electricity, they have stored water since it must be driven up the mountain to their place.
Sadly we did not get to taste the food since our trip was off-season. Looking forward to return.
A place run by a great property manager.
