Mauna Lani, Auberge Collection

Our stay at the Mauna Lani, Auberge Resorts Collection was truly exceptional. The beach and pool setup is outstanding. The beach area is calm, swimmable, and perfect for relaxing, with plenty of space to spread out and never feeling overcrowded. The pools are equally well done—beautifully designed, well-maintained, and ideal for both lounging and families. Service around both the beach and pool was attentive without ever feeling intrusive. We also really appreciated the added amenities included with the resort fee. Thoughtful touches like glass-bottled water, beach equipment, and other included perks made the experience feel elevated and seamless without constant add-ons. Dining across the property was excellent. Every meal we had was fresh and delicious, but Canoe House was a standout. The setting alone is incredible—right on the water at sunset—and the food absolutely lived up to it. It was easily one of the highlights of our trip. What truly sets this resort apart, though, is the staff. Every single team member we encountered was warm, welcoming, and genuinely focused on making our stay special. The level of service was consistent across the entire property and made a lasting impression. Overall, Mauna Lani, Auberge Resorts Collection delivers a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and authentic hospitality. We would absolutely return

Truly lovely experience from the moment we walked in the door through our departure - the staff was engaged and accommodating. We loved our time at the time hotel so much that we didn't leave. We highly recommend this property. Leia and the staff at the Francis Brown Club made our stay especially special and we can't wait to come back next year.

Beautiful resort, Amazing service overall (except for the marketplace store) they treat you like a inconvenience, extremely clean rooms , it gives Hawaii vibes on 100. Coconut Joe makes you feel right at home with a fresh coconut drink. Location is very quiet so you can recharge. Would be nice to have some entertainment in the evenings, but if are looking for quiet after 6:30 pm this is your place.

Fantastic experience at the ML in spite of weather issues - it rained 3 days and the ML still made it a great experience! They offered free mai tai and multiple other classes. They also comped us a round of golf as well - unheard of! They absolutely went out of their way to try and create fun when the weather wasn't cooperative. Overall, it was a phenomenal experience, and we hope to return in 6 months.

Our family of four (two adults and kids 11 and 14) spent five nights at the Mauna Lani and it was easily among the top places we've ever stayed (if not the top). Even before we arrived, the service stood out-- when our rental car broke down en route, the resort arranged transportation for us so we could safely leave the car to be towed. After a stressful start, that kindness immediately set the tone for our stay. The Sunrise Canoe experience was unforgettable. Watching the sun rise over Mauna Kea, learning from our guide, and even slipping into the ocean to hear the whales singing underwater was truly magical and the perfect start to our vacation. We loved our beach days, relaxing by the pool, and exploring the property. Biking to the Petroglyph Archaeological Preserve and visiting the fishponds (especially the "secret" pond where the fish nip at your feet) were fun highlights for our kids. There were so many thoughtful touches throughout our stay and my kids especially love the whale stuffies they received. Following a day trip to Volcanoes National Park, we checked out a great recommendation from the concierge to try Café Ono, which was a unique and memorable lunch stop we wouldn’t have discovered on our own! We were fortunate to visit another island afterward, but we all agreed we wished we had planned more time here. A beautiful setting, exceptional hospitality, and an experience we would gladly repeat (right now, if we could)!
