I've travelled all over the Caribbean and stayed at all variety of places, fancy and simple. But this was one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at in the region. The beauty of it is in its simplicity -- and its spectacular setting on a gorgeous stretch of beach....

I've travelled all over the Caribbean and stayed at all variety of places, fancy and simple. But this was one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at in the region. The beauty of it is in its simplicity -- and its spectacular setting on a gorgeous stretch of beach. Our beachfront palapa accommodations were totally lovely; these aren't fancy, but they're totally comfortable, and allow you to fall asleep to the sounds of the ocean. The restauarant was truly excellent; indeed, it was better than just about anywhere else I've eaten in the BVI. And Anegada itself is a wonderful gem of an (almost) empty island. There's little there but a few great little beach bars and restaurants, endless beautiful beach, and very nice people. After spending a few days on Anegada, we left totally relaxed and happy -- and we plan to return to the hotel next year.

I took my girlfriend here for her birthday weekend and we had an amazing stay in the Palapas. The customer service was outstanding as the staff were incredibly caring and attentive. I took my girlfriend here for her birthday weekend and we had an amazing stay in the Palapas. The customer service was outstanding as the staff were incredibly caring and attentive. The breakfast was superb and the pictures online were very accurate. I highly recommend this place for couples looking for a peaceful getaway. It is perfect for those who love nature, beautiful island architecture, and a relaxing beach aesthetic. The resort truly captures the unique beauty and charm of Anegada, making it a memorable experience. The pool was also very nice and added to the relaxing atmosphere. The stay included great amenities like an iron, bug spray which we did not need, plenty of hydration options, and an umbrella. It was truly a wonderful experience.

The beachfront Palapa was a dream! From the amazing deck view, very short walk down to the water and secluded beach, to the beautiful furnishings (including lovely king size bed), and fully equipped bathroom, our 3 night stay was amazing! We sat on beach lounge chairs and watched the kite surfers, sipped beverages from our Palapa cooler on the deck, and woke to the the sun and beach waves! While the Palapa's do not have AC, the ocean breeze and fans are all you need! All of the hotel staff were so helpful, friendly and quickly attended to any request. Put this on your bucket list for an unforgettable stay!

We stayed for two nights, our experience was excellent, from beginning to end it was a pleasure. From Mr Bread picking us up from the ferry setting down point, our arrival with welcoming and professional friendly staff on front desk. Ever helpful Bernita nothing was too much trouble. The room was well appointed and clean. Short walk to the beach, restaurant right outside our door and small swimming pool. We would not hesitate to stay again at the Anegada beach hotel.

The staff, amenities, food service and beach were just incredible. The beachside bungalows were so fun and enjoyable. A very freeing experience. We would recommend it to all couples that want a romantic off the grid experience. Great place!

Amazing accommodations in a beautiful spot. We spent 3 nights here in one of the palapas...truly a special property. Low key good service and a lovely team of people that were personable and helpful before, during and even after our stay. Esther and V were especially helpful and fun to meet and get to know a bit. Check out the Lobster Trap, and Tipsy's which is a nice walk down the beach... fun vibe, good food and service (and they will have whatever game you want if you are missing some live sports. Also dinner at Sid's....make sure you go early in the trip in case you want to go back and spend time on a magical beach.

Perfect escape. We had the pleasure of staying at the Anegada beach club in their ocean front room with the soaking tubs in the deck. Our room was STUNNING and well appointed. The details were well thought out and made for a highly relaxing and enjoyable stay. I can’t say enough good things about this hotel. I could have stayed 2 weeks relaxing and enjoying the gorgeous views, ocean waves and rustic luxury of this resort. It truly is a 5 star stay and I look forward to returning. Also, The lobster BLT at their restaurant is not to be missed. It was excellent and a food highlight of our trip. The breakfast was wonderful as well.

My wife and I traveled to the BVI's for the first time and it was well worth the wait. Anegada was the first leg of our trip. The Anegada Beach Club was an amazing experience. Staying in a palapa right off the beach. We loved watching the kite surfers do their thing. It was like our private oasis. If you just want to relax then I would highly suggest. It is the friendly people and natural beauty of the island that make this place special. The Anegada Beach Club Restaurant and bar (outdoor) was excellent. There are other restaurants on the island that were recommended including The Lobster Trap which is their sister restaurant but we just decided to stay on premise. Did I say relaxation!!! Now be sure to pay attention to travel itinerary and have the correct links and contacts for the ferry operators. We took the ferry from St. Thomas to Tortola (90 minutes) and Tortola to Anegada (90 minutes). The Anegada ferry only runs on Mon, Wed and Fri twice a day. Other good options are commercial flights land in Tortola and there is a 10 minute flight (5 seater) from Tortola to Anegada (day time only). Now I mentioned the people. We have to make a special shout-out to Ester who is one of the managers. She met us with a never ending smile. Anegada Sunny the pet mascot is a friendly, welcoming dog who is just part of the experience. Yanni and Collene made our breakfast, lunch and dinner experience special. We equally enjoyed our time at the bar as we got to meet locals from the island. It was just a fun, relaxing and amazing experience.

Hands down the best meal we’ve had on our trip (and we’ve been sailing the BVIs for over a week now). go for lunch and get the curry mussels. You will not be disappointed. Also ask for Elba - best waitress/amazing service. Can’t recommend higher!

What a perfect little weekend getaway! The property itself is amazing, but the staff is the reason why we will return, we left feeling like we now have friends on Anegada. The palapa we stayed in was magical...and even without AC we had great circulation of air and was very comfortable. They are so quiet and peaceful and are positioned so well on the beach you have a ton of privacy. We had breakfast both days and one night of dinner in the restaurant and just loved the ladies who took care of us. I also can not say enough about the triggerfish on the dinner menu. Thank you Esther (and Sunny), Vernika, David, Miss Maxine, and the rest of the ABC team who made our stay so special. We will be back!

We had been trying to get to Anegada since prior to Covid, and so glad we finally made it! Mr. Bread was right at the ferry to pick us up when we arrived and we were warmly greeted by all staff. We stayed in a beachfront Palapa and couldn't have been happier. We had total privacy, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom, attached by a short outside walkway, was great. There was a coffee maker and we were able to get ice to put in the cooler provided to keep some items cool. The Palapa was very airy with a good breeze at all times. It had screens, however, there were really no bugs during our stay. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck looking out at the view. It was a short walk to the beach where you could sit under a covered hut that had lounge chairs. The food at the restaurant was excellent and it was nice to sit at the bar for some good drinks. We still think about the coconut dusted french toast with maple syrup and bacon and our mid afternoon lunches. We rented a car through the hotel for one day to explore the island and enjoyed the various restaurants/bars that we found along the way. To summarize, the hotel, Palapa, restaurant, and the island itself were everything we had hoped for and we will definitely return as soon as we can. Last, but not least, we are grateful to the management and staff at ABC. All of our needs were met with warm and friendly smiles who attended to our needs and insured our privacy at the same time.

Anegada Beach club is a paradise. No loud music no flashing disco lights and no problems. No need for shoes either, you will be walking on very fine white coral sand. The place is perfect and the members of friendly staff are there for you if you need anything. We were staying in one of the beautiful and very comfortable beach huts with a lovely porch where you can sit stargazing and listening to the waves. The restaurant and the bar are just a short bare foot walk away and the food is excellent. Their “Painkiller” is probably the best on the BVI. The beach is perfect for kiting or just watching the kiters and of course for snorkelling. You can rent all the equipment here. We had a very nice stay here. Thank you Esther. My husband and I enjoyed 3 relaxing nights at ABC, made perfect by the unbelievable staff. Esther gave us a warm greeting upon arrival. Since we arrived on the morning ferry, our palapa wasn’t quite ready yet. While waiting, we enjoyed the 1st of many delicious meals. Originally we weren’t planning to eat all meals at ABC but the food was delicious and the server team made us feel welcome! Huge shout outs to JJ, Maxine, Colleen and Yanni! These ladies work very hard and again really made our stay that much more enjoyable! V also took time to introduce herself and thank us for being there (and ensured a smooth checkout when it was time to leave). For our stay, we chose Surfside, the 1BR palapa. Admittedly, we are used to AC but were comfortable most nights to get a good night’s sleep. The size and layout worked well for us. Thank you to the outstanding ABC team for providing excellent service during our stay! We visited Anegada on a day trip 2 years ago and we were so impressed with ABC that we made a decision to stay there when we visited the BVIs again.

It’s all about the experience! Is it work to get here? Yes! Is it worth it? Yes! From the staff at the office, to the restaurant staff, to the housekeeping staff, to the shuttle driver, and to the grounds keepers-the whole team is what makes this place special! They have thought of every detail! We stayed in the palapa with the bathtubs. From waking up to see the sunrise from your bed to watching the sunset from your porch, it is all magical! The food was top notch and we enjoyed their sister restaurant, The Lobster Trap, which they provided a shuttle for. We loved how secluded the beach was with a private path from the palapa. Unfortunately it was sargassum season, but there were still pockets of gorgeous blue water to gaze upon. Grateful for the shelters on our secluded beach to lounge under during the day. Stargazing at night was beautiful too! We sat on our porch for hours too just feeling the breeze and soaking in the views. We did rent a car for 2 days to check out some other beaches. But we were always excited to come back to ABC. It is the best! Kept thinking it would check out the spa but never made time for it. That was probably my only regret since they had a chair massage special outside. It was the perfect to celebrate our 40th anniversary.

WOW! That describes our experience. I can not say enough about Anegada Beach Club. The front desk staff was always there to help guide us with car rentals, places to eat, our flight arrangements and the list goes on and on. They truly make you feel like family. The pool, only one on island, was always clean and felt so good after a day at the beach. Speaking of the beach, so relaxing. They have chairs down on the beach and it is always cleaned. We stayed in the hotel king bedroom. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were too. Special shout out to David, Ester and V. Oh, and I can not forget Sunny. He was always happy to receive some pats. We will be back for another relaxing stay.
