Rabot Hotel From Hotel Chocolat

We had a fantastic 3 nights here that was the perfect way to finish our 2 week honeymoon. The views from both our room and the restaurant / pool are just epic. Think I took around 50 pictures of that view throughout the day in different lights. Our room was very clean and a perfect way to spend the day relaxing. One thing we loved about staying here was the abundance of wildlife and especially the birds. Our highlight of our stay was the tree to bar chocolate tour that was excellent and so much fun. All our meals at the restaurant were lovely and very much enjoyed the additional tasters between our main courses. The steak was particularly excellent. The only slight negative aspect of staying here was the mosquitos throughout the night. The bed does have a fly net and you do get a mosquito bat that makes a very satisfying snap crackle and pop when you get one of the little bastards! Despite that we did get a few bites as we noticed there was a gap in the floor boards between the net and the bed which we suspect they weee getting in. On nights two and three we tucked the net into the mattress which was a lot more successful in keeping them out. Overall we had a great stay and would stay here again.

My wife and I had a lovely stay at Rabot Hotel. Having already done all the sites on the island, we were able to just chill out around the hotel, and enjoy it's beautiful location and amenities. We arranged to do the 'Tree to Bean to Bar' experience just before we checked in, so the timing was perfect. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

This was an unbelievably picturesque location in the trees with a view of the beautiful Piton mountains. I was aghast when I saw that we could see the Petit Piton from our room! And oh, the room! Spotless, free standing, naturally air conditioned they were comfortable, luxurious and beautiful! The staff was unceasingly kind and accommodating.... from the reception, to the servers, the housekeeping staff, to the drivers and tour guides. I cannot recommend enough!

This is, hands down, a wonderfully run and maintained hotel. And the views of the Piton are breathtaking (particularly at sunset from the infinity pool). Food is great and the chocolate tour is really worthwhile. In addition, the staff is super friendly and helpful. You will have a spectacular experience as long as you are aware that the property has zero A/C. All accommodations are open air. We found the breezes combined with fans enough for many great night's sleep (with the night sounds and, at times, rain, lulling us to sleep). That said, if you need A/C, this is NOT the place for you. If that is the case, do yourself a favor and still book the chocolate estate tour and come to the hotel for dinner (get there before sunset for dinner).

The property is beautiful from the rooms, restaurant, and view. We unfortunately did not make it n time to do the chocolate tour, but we heard some great things about doing it. I give the room a 10/10 HOWEVER, we got tore up from the mosquitos. Even with the net around it the bed, spraying the net, our bodies, and using the insect balls…nothing worked! We didn’t get any sleep due to the bugs. We ate dinner across the street at Ladero, the view was amazing…service was great, food 6/10. To be honest, we ate at a restaurant off property across from Bean to Bar experience. It’s a little aqua house, that food was fabulous! The staff were super sweet and accommodating. Overall 7/10. Unfortunately, we won’t visit this hotel again due to the bugs. We were fighting for our lives, literally!
