The team at Hotel Mousai Cancun was truly great. Having stayed at both properties—Puerto Vallarta and Cancun—we couldn’t help but naturally compare the two experiences. The focus of this vacation was pure enjoyment and relaxation. While the stay ultimately delivered on that, our arrival began with a bit of disappointment related to transportation and the check-in process. The attempt to schedule us for a timeshare presentation was especially discouraging. As a Travel Agent, I consistently hear feedback from clients and monitor industry forums and I can honestly say I’ve seen very few positive experiences related to timeshare ownership. Wanting to use our well-deserved vacation time for a presentation was unfortunate. If you would like to bring me back on your dime, I would be happy to attend—until then, I’ll pass. Thankfully Alexa Carrillo, our amazing butler, quickly shifted the tone of our stay. She reminded us exactly why we came: breathtaking views, a spotless suite and true luxury. Alexa is easily one of the best butlers we’ve had throughout our travels—professional, attentive, and genuinely exceptional. Another standout was Maryann at the rooftop bar, who was warm, welcoming, and extremely attentive each day. While the service was excellent, the drinks themselves were disappointing. I shared this feedback with her and she made every effort to accommodate us. Unfortunately, the bar offerings leaned heavily toward juice-forward cocktails rather than a well-balanced, relaxing poolside beverage experience. Tipping was never an issue—we believe in showing appreciation—but ultimately I adjusted my expectations. Despite this, the service consistently exceeded expectations, even when the bar options did not. The restaurant teams across the property were extremely pleasant. Some meals were average, while others were outstanding. Bre, Jose, and Herberrito at Nao quickly became our favorites—exceptional service and energy. The expanded restaurant options at the Cancun location were a major win and truly exciting compared to the PV property. Will we return? Absolutely. The key will be choosing the right timing and the best promotional offer. We travel often, and Hotel Mousai has officially become one of our favorites among our travel choices. Our 2 week stay at both Mousai and Garza Blanca was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment the beautiful Ninfa and Carolina checked us into Mousai, we were welcomed with the kind of warmth and professionalism that defines true 5-star service. We were in awe of the level of service we received from our butler, Alexa. She went out of her way to meet every request we had—big or small—it was met with a smile and handled effortlessly. EVERY staff member went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and cared for. Each morning, Heriberto welcomed us with a warm smile while having incredible breakfasts at NOI. Oswaldo & Renee brought by delicious pastry trays and prepared table side coffee experiences (every waiter was amazing). Santiago, our pool attendant, and Rubi took care to prepare our lounge chairs each day, polishing our sunglasses, providing cold face towels with a spritz of an amazing fragrance, and moving the umbrellas every couple hours so we had shade and sun when needed. Blanca, Marianne, Alfredo swiftly catered to our food and drink orders while we basked in the sun. Edgar, the activity director, created an energetic vibe at each class we attended whether making cochinita pibil and tortilla soup with chef, sushi rolls, tequila & chocolate tasting - he made it FUN! Jesus, Noi’s sommelier, warmly greeted us each night with boutique wine offerings from Mexico - a MUST if you haven't tried any! Leandro, bartender extraordinaire in Garza’s lobby was an amazing mixologist, as well as the mixologist shaking up uniquely creative cocktails at Noi on Thanksgiving. Big shout out to Fausto, a server at the gourmet Food Truck; he remembered ALL of our ordering nuances each time we sat without us ever asking. The rooms were posh in decor, setting is stunning peering over the turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea, the attention to detail unmatched, and the service truly elevated the entire experience. We left feeling pampered, refreshed, and already dreaming about our next visit. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a luxurious, unforgettable getaway!

We stayed at Hotel Mousai Cancun for six nights, and even though the weather wasn’t on our side, the resort completely won us over. This is easily one of the best all-inclusives resort I’ve experienced in Mexico. Resort & Atmosphere Mousai is a boutique, adults-only high-rise about 35 minutes from the airport. The vibe is modern, artistic, and very upscale. I usually prefer more traditional resort styles, but I ended up loving this one. You also get access to the restaurants and amenities at Garza Blanca and Villa del Palmar next door, which is a huge plus. Our Suite We booked an Ultra Mousai Suite King and it was amazing. The room is big, bright, and full of thoughtful details—high-tech lighting, great sound system, a beautiful shower, and a heated outdoor jacuzzi with a stunning view. The terrace hammock was perfect for relaxing. The butler service that comes with the Ultra Suites was fantastic. Ours checked in several times a day and were always just a quick WhatsApp message away. Food The food here is outstanding—honestly some of the best I’ve had at an all-inclusive in Mexico. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Mousai mainly has one signature restaurant plus two casual lunch spots by the pools, but you can also dine at Garza Blanca and Villa del Palmar, which gives you plenty of options. Our favorites were Noi (at Mousai) and Dao (at Garza Blanca). Drinks Drinks were excellent. Everything was made with premium liquor automatically, and cocktails were creative and well made. The bartenders were friendly (shout out to all the bartenders at the main Bar at Mousai) and even remembered our names and favorite drinks. Pools Both pools are great. The rooftop pool has incredible views and great snacks, and the beachside pool is more relaxing. Lots of chairs, no towel game, and very attentive service. Beach The beach is small but very pretty, with soft sand and clear water. Some rocky areas, but it’s definitely swimmable. Seaweed was minimal and cleaned daily. Service Service was one of the best parts of the trip. Staff were warm, attentive, and really went the extra mile. It felt like they genuinely wanted us to enjoy every moment. Entertainment This isn’t a big-party or high-entertainment resort. There was some live music, small activities, and tastings (the mezcal and chocolate tasting was great), but the overall vibe is calm, relaxing, and upscale. Overall Hotel Mousai Cancun is perfect for anyone wanting a luxurious, modern, boutique-style resort with top-tier food, excellent drinks, and truly exceptional service. If you prefer a huge beach or lots of nightlife, this might not be your ideal spot—but for a relaxing, pampered, adults-only vacation, it’s fantastic. Would definitely return.
