Atlantis Paradise Island, could not have been more aptly named. Atlantis refers to a lost Utopia, and this vanished Eden has been found on Paradise Island. This massive, iconic resort island is located outside of Nassau in the Bahamas. In this article, we will review everything you need to know about an Atlantis honeymoon.

Twenty-one restaurants and 19 bars will keep all guests well-fed and happy, but that is just the beginning. Guests of Atlantis Paradise Island, enjoy 11 swimming pools, a huge water park, a marine habitat, a golf course, and one of the major casinos in the Caribbean Ocean.

The Cove Pool is children-free and perfect for some romantic honeymoon time. You’ll find a café and private cabanas here, as well as some outdoor gaming.

There are six different room accommodations at Atlantis, each delivering different values and amenities. However, they are all plush, spacious, and deluxe.

Atlantis Paradise Island, is a utopia during the day. When the sun sets, the nightlife explodes. There are few places quite as exciting as Atlantis Paradise Island, with its night club, comedy club, and first-run theater. And still, there is more.

Atlantis Casino is a huge, 60,000 square feet hotspot that is open 24 hours a day. There are 85 gaming tables, 700 slot machines, and a Race and Sports station. Bet a penny or $100, everyone is a winner at having fun here. Get into the swing of things and play some baccarat, Texas Hold’em, craps, blackjack, and roulette. Free gaming lessons are available. 

If you are feeling lucky, you can also play blackjack and craps at the Cove Pool. Or, head for the Sea Glass at the Cove Atlantic by Paradise Beach. It provides a club-like atmosphere with an ocean view, a stunning sunset, and more gaming tables and slots in a setting that is quieter and more laid back than the actual Casino. Don’t forget to check out the appetizers and cocktails. The Sea Glass Lounge is open daily until 1:00 am.

Atlantis Honeymoon Packages

You have probably spent the past few months in a wedding-planning frenzy. It’s over, and it’s time to return to sanity, which you’ll find in abundance here during your Atlantis Paradise Island honeymoon. There will be couples’ massages, champagne, and candlelit dinners, and a lot more. Paradise Island has several special honeymoon packages. Honeymoon Bliss

The honeymoon package is available for $490 with a stay of three or more nights. This package includes a 50-minute couples massage, in-room champagne and strawberries, and a gift to mark the occasion.

Honeymoon Pass

The Honeymoon Pass package, which can be purchased for $1,350, adds an abundance of extra amenities and delights to your honeymoon, some of which you might otherwise miss. Upon arrival, you receive a Honeymoon Welcome Cocktail, making you feel immediately at home.

Your welcome cocktail is followed by three days of breakfast for both of you, as well as a 50-minute couple’s massage. Then enjoy free access to the Aura Nightclub located within the Casino. Dance to the DJ’s selections, or relax at one of the bars. Aura has style and just enough decadence to create some sexy fun.

You will also have entry for two to the marine habitats, where you can learn about conservation and play with the dolphins and observe various marine life. Follow up your free package with a romantic dinner for two and enjoy a free slot play each at the Casino. The package also includes a honeymoon gift.

Cove Honeymoon Escape

The Cove Honeymoon Escape provides you with all the indulgences of the Honeymoon Pass, while taking it a few steps further – all for only $2,250.

You will have your own round-trip transportation to and from the airport and a VIP check-in at Paradise. Once you settle in, in addition to the amenities of the Honeymoon Pass, you receive one private cabana rental (for Mondays through Thursdays), and a complimentary cocktail for both of you at the Aura Nightclub.

Atlantis Paradise has unlimited dining options. The least expensive choices are Marina Pizza, Cave Grill, Brats & Balls, Murray’s Deli, Virgil’s BBQ, Ben & Jerry’s, Starbuck’s, Sun & Ice for ice cream, and Carmine. All of these are guaranteed to provide you with a quick lunch or tasty snack.

A spicy mixture of South American and Caribbean dishes can be found here. It’s food with a kick.

This micro-brewery is all about its drafts, from Black Beer’d Stout (chocolate malt) to the Pirate Ale. The beers can be enjoyed with a light meal.

Moon Bar

Savor your cocktail and wine within the marine habitat. The jellyfish will have their eyes on you, but just ignore them. Cigars are served here.


This lounge has great cocktails and music and is located outside of the casino.

The Cove Pole

There are two bars at the enormous Cove Pole. (The pool is adult-only.) 

The Beach Bar

This bar by the ocean has delectable Bahamian cocktails.


The Cove Pool

This is the resort’s largest pool and is for adults only. Like the other pools, this one has 20 private cabanas. These offer butler service for refreshments and spa treatments. Enjoy the poolside eatery, Sip Sip. No. shoes, no problem.

Grotto Pool

This is a relaxing pool with two enchanting waterfalls. There are two lounge chairs which you can reserve, and food and drinks are available.

Bath Colonnade

Located not far from the Cove Beach, the Bath Colonnade pool, with its Grecian columns, is an ideal wedding reception venue, in the event you wish to combine your wedding with your Atlantis Paradise Island, honeymoon. 

Royal Baths Pool

This is the second adults-only pool on the property. Unwind with some soothing, romantic music.

Lap Pool

In the event the fitness center did not prove physically challenging enough, go outside to the 25-meter lap pool and continue your exercise regime outdoors.

Take a Tour

Take charter boats to neighboring islands. In Exuma, an uninhabited island, the local pigs enjoy human company and will come out and swim with visitors. You are surrounded by some of the most incredible water there is, so take advantage and explore.

Atlantis can also arrange for private yachts or other charters to investigate nearby secret islands, fishing, watersports, and beaches.

You may be on your honeymoon, but shopping is probably still on your to-do list. At Atlantis, you will find designer names, such as Michael Kors, Gucci, and Versace, not to mention some real Havana cigars. As an added bonus, shopping here is duty-free!

Marine Habitat

This is your chance to get up close and personal with Atlantis’ marine life. Visit Dolphin Cay and swim with the friendly bottlenose dolphins and check out the sea lions. The water here is perfect for some paddle boarding and snorkeling.

While enjoying your Atlantis honeymoon, stroll through the incredible marine habitats on the property. This is the largest marine habitat anywhere. There are 14 lagoons and a total of 250 different marine species.

  1. Snorkel through the Ruins Lagoon and check out the great sea life and reefs.
  2. The Predator Lagoon hold schools of barracudas, sharks, rays, and others. See them up close as you walk through the underwater tunnel.
  3. The Estuary Lagoon serves as a safe nursery for many of Atlantis’ newborns.
  4. The nurse sharks can be found at the bottom of the Reef Lagoon.
  5. Interact and feed the indigenous green sea and hawksbill turtles at the Hibiscus Lagoon.
  6. Come and view a large variety of fish at the huge Seagrapes Lagoon.
  7. You can feed the stingrays at the Stingray Lagoon.
  8. Sharks and more stingrays inhabit the Royal Ray Lagoon.
  9. Certain pregnant sharks are kept at the Water’s Edge Lagoon for their safety and the safety of the baby sharks.

Each hotel is unique instead of the standard resort cookie-cutter hotel. Below are the six most popular hotel choices. We’ll begin with the least expensive and move toward the priciest rooms. Room prices will vary according to season and availability.

  1. Atlantis – Beach Tower

Guests here are close to the beach and not far from the casino. It is a bit removed from the main Paradise area, so it tends to be quiet. The rooms have balconies and either a terrace or ocean view. Room prices range around $140.00 per night. 

  1. Atlantis – Coral Towers

The Coral Towers offer mid-priced accommodation. The rooms are larger than the rooms at the Beach Tower. It is close to lots of activities, the harbor, and Marina Village, which offers plenty of restaurant and shopping options. You can take a romantic stroll by the harbor and check out the yachts. Guest who takes cruises during their stay get dropped off at the harbor, so it is very convenient. The Coral Towers has a pool. Room prices begin around $170 per night.

  1. Atlantis – Royal Towers

Some guests regard the Royal Towers as the real Atlantis. The building is huge and in the center of the resort. The lobby itself is grandiose and impressive. This is where you will find several pools, the resort’s spa and fitness center, fabulous restaurants, the casino, and Dolphin Cay. Due to its popularity, it is very family-friendly and perhaps too noisy for honeymooners, who might prefer the serenity of the Coral Towers or Harborside. The average room price is $286 per night.

  1. Harborside Resort

The Harborside consists of several colonial-style structures, none of which have direct beach access. Most of the rooms have multi-bedrooms and are therefore very popular with families. It is, however, a quiet sector of the Paradise complex. For nighttime activity, guests need to stroll to the Marina Village. The average room is approximately $300 per night.

  1. The Reef Atlantis

The Reef is a combination condo and hotel along the beach and comes with a large, family-friendly pool. The rooms have a full kitchen, which allows guests to cook. Rooms begin at $372 per night.

  1. The Cove Atlantis

The Cove is the crème de la crème of accommodations at Atlantis on Paradise Island. The suites face the ocean and are stocked with premium-brand liquor. The Cove shares both a beach and pool with the Reef Towers. The pool parties at the pool are adult-only, as is the gambling by the pool area. The first-rate restaurants on the property require more formal attire for the evening, so count on dressing up. Rooms begin at $450 for one night.

Is Atlantis expensive?

Atlantis Paradise Island, certainly is not inexpensive. There are, however, ways you can enjoy the resort’s marvelous amenities and still save a bit of money.
1 – Try and get a free night (or more) by accumulating Marriott Bonvoy Credit Card points. Choice Hotel points will also save you money on rooms.
2 – Pack everything you need and don’t purchase necessities at the resort’s many boutiques.
3 – Instead of taking a taxi from the Nassau airport, take the Ferry to the resort for a mere $3.00
4- Save on food by checking out the local restaurants, bringing some takeout back to your room, or enjoying a pizza a Marina Pizzeria – one of the least expensive restaurants in the resort. Pack your own snacks.
5 – Purchase alcohol in Nassau or bring a bottle from home.

Is Atlantis Bahamas all inclusive?

Atlantis Bahamas is not all-inclusive. However, by planning ahead, you can monitor the prices and grab the best deals.

Is Atlantis good for couples?

Atlantis is family-friendly. However, there are a number of adult-only activities. The Cove swimming pool, with its gambling area, is off-limits for children, as is the Casino. The Aura nightclub provides entertainment and is perfect for couples.
In addition, there are tours and charters for adults that can be arranged.
