This hotel is in the heart of Paris. It in a fine three story (with an elevator) Haussmanian Parisian building. It has 51 large bedrooms and large lounges and reception areas.  One of the immediate highlights of the place upon arrival is to take pleasure in the decoration, a mixture of polished wood, antique doors, chandeliers and fine furniture to name but a few. As soon as your cross over the threshold, you feel that you are entering a private home with a unique feel to it. The hotel owners have built up strong relationships with their suppliers of all the interior design elements : as a result, one really does feel one is entering a different world; a private world in the center of Paris. The 8th arrondissement is full of history. And, the hotel’s central location in the heart of Paris means you can take full advantage of staying in a prestigious neighborhood that has a number of important tourist sights....

The hotel has 16 rooms per floor, ten of which look over the Rue du Rocher and six onto the small garden. The bedrooms that look over onto the road are approximately 20m² (a good size for bedrooms in the center of Paris). They are isolated from the hustle and bustle of town life by double glazing and charming wooden interior shutters.  The rooms also have a small entrance before you get into the main room for added quiet and privacy. Each room has a King size bed (180 x 200) and this can be transformed into twin beds (2 x 90 X 200). The bathrooms all have a bath/shower and 2 modern stylish basins placed onto pretty, antique-style bistro tables, placed opposite each other. The rooms overlooking the small gardens are approximately 17m², slightly smaller but they offer the same level of comfort. They have double beds only (150 or 160 x 200 cm). The bathrooms each have their own baths with their shower and the style is more « retro » in look.

You will not find a bland, stereotypical anonymous hotel – instead we wanted our clients to feel at home in a warm, personal setting – as though you were visiting a large private house rather than a public building. There are personal touches everywhere, reminders of the different eras and different countries that we admire or have visited during our travels abroad. Very often the decorative elements and objects on display have a wonderful history or story behind them. Our ultimate ambition is for our clients to feel a part of the history of the place, to be infused and be inspired by this neighborhood. You will be visiting the sights of Paris but your delight won’t stop when you come home to your hotel – the historic atmosphere is all around you.
